    Pan de sal

Ordered dilis and turon, both very good and fresh. Pan de Sal was really good too. Service was fast and they were nice. I like that it's connected to the snoice halo halo shop. Will be taking my dad here

Good local spot with Filipino food. It is all served to go and kind of like cafeteria school style. They package your food in a to go container and any meats or soap in styrofoam cup like containers and Saran Wrap to prevent spills. They give you a good amount of food. Tastes homemade. I got the soup, pancit, menudo and sig sig. The soup I thought was sinigang which is my favorite but it ended up being like a pork and cabbage soup. The food was good. They also have lots of baked goods and desserts. The pan de sal looked good. No where to sit but you can go next to Snoice to sit. They are connected to one another.

I was craving some Filipino desserts . The store is very small and can get very crowded . I came at the end of the day so there wasn't that many choices left but I picked up Biko which was so yummy some Ensaymada which stole the show and cheese rolls they were so good!

Make sure you check the dessert before you buy. We learned the hard way. This is the bread with cheese in the middle(sometimes ube) and sprinkled sugar on top. The dark areas in the photo is not ube. It's the most mold I've seen ever. Sad because the food wasn't bad.

The croissants, donuts, pastries were just toooooooo good. I could see myself working here everyday if I were closer. Japanese-inspired baked goods bring a uniqueness to the area…read more My friends and I went to Asa Bakery on a Friday afternoon and were really interested in what they had to offer. The first thing that caught our eye was the seasonal Tokyo Banana Latte, and we knew for sure we had to get it. When we went inside Asa, the space was spacious, with a lot of folks already inside hanging out with friends and studying/working. The interior was very Japandi, which was expected and very cute. We did not have a wait, and there was no line at 1:30 p.m. We ordered a couple of items to share among us. The service, by the way, was very friendly, and they were very open to answering any questions we had, which was awesome. Between the group, we ordered: * Miso Croque Monsieur: I wish this had a bit more ham, in my opinion. While the pastry itself is unique, I wish it were a bit less salty. The miso really shined through, but I was unsure if it was balanced and well-rounded. * Lime Tart: Probably our favorite thing here, actually! The brightness of the citrus stood out but was not overpowering. It had a light, custardy flavor. * Berry Melon Pan: Standard classic melon pan with a subtle berry filling. It is more of a coagulated consistency rather than a jammy interior like we initially thought, but not bad. * Chicken Katsu Sandwich: The shokupan had a nice bounce, and their chicken was nice and juicy. * Matcha Tiramisu: Even though I am an avid lover of matcha, this might have been too much. The topping of matcha made the dessert bitter, and we were a bit surprised by the lack of ladyfingers. * Tokyo Banana Latte: Best banana latte, heads up! I am already a big fan of Tokyo Banana, so this really took the cake. The banana milk was not too sweet, just the way I like it. I would say that I did not think it stood out enough to rave to folks about coming here, but overall, not bad.
