I come here for spaghetti on the weekends and it always hits. I do have to compete with the plenty of other spaghettis lovers tho. they do run out of food by the early afternoon so if you don't want the bottom of the barrel, plan accordingly This is a point point joint .. point at what you want .. if you don't know what's what, they're happy help you! Turon also runs out!

Ordered dilis and turon, both very good and fresh. Pan de Sal was really good too. Service was fast and they were nice. I like that it's connected to the snoice halo halo shop. Will be taking my dad here

Good local spot with Filipino food. It is all served to go and kind of like cafeteria school style. They package your food in a to go container and any meats or soap in styrofoam cup like containers and Saran Wrap to prevent spills. They give you a good amount of food. Tastes homemade. I got the soup, pancit, menudo and sig sig. The soup I thought was sinigang which is my favorite but it ended up being like a pork and cabbage soup. The food was good. They also have lots of baked goods and desserts. The pan de sal looked good. No where to sit but you can go next to Snoice to sit. They are connected to one another.

I was craving some Filipino desserts . The store is very small and can get very crowded . I came at the end of the day so there wasn't that many choices left but I picked up Biko which was so yummy some Ensaymada which stole the show and cheese rolls they were so good!

I love coming here after a night shift. The food is absolutely delicious!!! Its the best Filipino food in Spring Valley. Food is always fresh and ready to go!! I appreciate they're open so early. I love coming here, definitely a must try

Make sure you check the dessert before you buy. We learned the hard way. This is the bread with cheese in the middle(sometimes ube) and sprinkled sugar on top. The dark areas in the photo is not ube. It's the most mold I've seen ever. Sad because the food wasn't bad.

I finally made it over to try what they are calling Filipino fusion and I walked away so impressed…read more My hubby and I ordered their Güd Burger, Kare Kare bowl and churro to share. This might honestly be my favorite meal. Even if it's quite a drive from San Diego, it was well worth it in my opinion. The Güd Burger completely lived up to the hype. The double Wagyu patties were juicy and full of flavor, the cheese was perfectly melty, and the sweet chili aioli brought everything together. I wasn't sure what to expect from the ube brioche bun, but it added just a hint of sweetness that somehow made the whole burger even better. Nothing overpowered anything else. It all just worked together. The Kare Kare bowl was generous in the Kare Kare, which I appreciated. The physical bowl felt too small compared to the amount they gave us! I'm glad I was sharing this with someone else because I was already full halfway through the bowl. We had to order the ube churros as well...don't skip this! The dipping sauce it came with was so good. I kept dipping my churro into it too because it was that good. The churro was crunchy without being dry. This whole meal was one of those meals where you don't want it to end. It was my first time here and we waited 45 minutes for our food to be ready because of how busy it was. Some people ordered ahead of time so they skipped the wait altogether. The restaurant itself is quite small but we were lucky enough to snag a seat after rush hour. There are less than 10 tables for eating in. Restaurants like this are worth supporting because you know it's a small business and the food tastes like it's made out of love! Already planning my next visit.

From the first bite, you can tell it's made with quality ingredients. The double wagyu patties were juicy and flavorful, and the melted cheese paired perfectly with the sweet chili aioli. The ube brioche bun wasn't just beautiful--it added a subtle sweetness that elevated the entire burger without overpowering it. Every ingredient complemented the next, making each bite rich, balanced, and incredibly satisfying. This isn't your average burger, If you're looking for something unique, indulgent, and absolutely delicious, this is a must-try. I added the sidewinder fries, and omg the sauce it comes with is so so good. The whole entire meal was amazing! Service is always great, they treat you like family and show mad love. This is the restaurant you want to show your love and support to. They pay it forward in their food, thank you for serving our community!

I have a loved one in a nursing facility in North San Diego and the staff there provide the kind of compassionate care that comes with dignity. After experiencing another facility that was so heartbreaking it left me questioning everything. I wanted to do something meaningful to thank this incredible team. A card didn't seem like enough. Flowers fade. But good food? Good food creates memories. I ordered the sisig, pancit, and their famous signature lumpia rolls, along with pandesal from Valerio's. Ordering was a breeze. I placed my order at 9:30 a.m. and picked everything up at 4:00 p.m. Three small trays turned out to be an incredible amount of food. I planned for 10 people, but it fed a whole lot more as many from different units gathered to share. The moment that sealed it for me happened before a single tray was opened. A nurse I had never met walked over and said, "Oh, you went to Tita's. I recognized their lumpia." That gave me chills because I knew I had chosen the right place. The food tasted like it came straight from Mamasan's kitchen, authentic, comforting, and made with love. Staff members kept stopping by to thank us, and my only conidition, "Make a plate for the receptionist. He's awesome too." That is what great food does. It creates connection. If you're feeding family, friends, coworkers, or an entire care team, Tita's Kitchenette delivers more than delicious Filipino food. They help you show appreciation in a way people will remember. Decor was chill and noise volume was low-medium. Overall 10/10. Food favs of today: brisket(one of the best I have had from a restaurant) it was tender, packed full of flavor and had the perfect balance of meat, fat, and rub. Cole slaw was great and I'm not a fan of Cole slaw usually! Rack of Ribs were good! Macaroni salad, potato salad were flavored well! Caesar salad was fresh and dressing tasty. My friend liked the jalapeño cornbread but it was too spicy for me. It had great flavor it's just personally my stomach would reject that spice. Next time I'll try the wedding beans and other food items. Bartender was friendly so I might come back just to hit up the bar area as well! It's a far drive of 20 mins for each of us but it's well worth it.

Recently, I brought my father and my boyfriend for his first visit, expecting the same quality experience I had enjoyed for years. Unfortunately, this visit was extremely disappointing. The menu has been significantly reduced, offering only a limited selection of options, while prices have increased substantially. I ordered the half chicken with brisket as my additional side for $38. When my meal arrived, I received only two pieces of chicken and a single piece of brisket. Upon cutting into the chicken, I noticed blood on the plate and the meat appeared pink. As I am currently pregnant, I did not feel comfortable eating it and asked our server if the chicken could be cooked longer. Instead, the manager came to the table holding my plate and explained that the chicken had been checked with a thermometer and was safe to eat. When I expressed my concerns regarding my pregnancy, he rolled his eyes and told me to choose something else rather than offering to cook the chicken further. I then asked if I could receive additional brisket since I was no longer comfortable eating the chicken. The manager responded, "That will cost more," and walked away. When my replacement arrived, I was served only two very small pieces of brisket and was charged extra for them. I am genuinely shocked by the lack of professionalism and customer service from the management team. Combined with the increased prices and noticeably smaller portions, the overall value simply is not there anymore. For longtime loyal customers, this experience was especially disappointing. After sharing my experience with family and friends, several decided not to visit, and unfortunately, I will not be returning either. The quality, portion sizes, and customer service no longer justify the cost. If you are looking for both quality and value, I would recommend considering other options.

Since we live more than an hour away, we waited until we were already in the area. Two days ago, we finally stopped by. Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. The first thing we noticed upon walking in was an unusual odor that wasn't very inviting. Since it wasn't their Sunday buffet day, we ordered à la carte: kare-kare, crispy pata, and chicken inasal. The service was good, food presentation was nice, and the dishes looked promising. However, the flavors did not meet our expectations. The kare-kare did not taste like traditional kare-kare, and the bagoong alamang was extremely salty with a very strong odor. The crispy pata had been chopped into pieces before frying, making it look and eat more like lechon kawali than the crispy pata we expected. As for the chicken inasal, it was far from the traditional version we're familiar with--it didn't even appear grilled and resembled chicken satay more than inasal. There were three of us dining, and all of us shared the same impressions of the food. Based on their advertising about serving food that's "as good as Nanay's," we came in with high expectations, but sadly, those expectations were not met. This was our first visit, and unfortunately, it will likely be our last. While others may have a different experience, we were not impressed with the food and would not make the drive back for another visit.
