    Lumpia

Lumpia, Lumpia I love you!!!! Man it's really great here and for takeout it holds its crispiness! The noodles are awesome Pancit, super good! The staff is friendly and it's more like a buffet style you pick and can sit or get takeout! It's an in and out place so if you're looking for ambiance this isn't your spot. I've taken the lumpia now about five times to different parties, softball events, soccer things, and everyone raves about it.

The Rivera family does an amazing job with their crew. Service is always outstanding and their dishes are delicious, not salty, just right. Today, we ordered Chicken Apritada, Pikabet, Pork Sisig, Bilo Bilo (Tambo Tambo) and Turon (fried banana). Naimas (Masarap)!

Been craving for Lechon since Christmas ! Tasty !!!! I ordered 1lb lol

I've been going to this Filipino restaurant because of the Lechon or roasted pig dish and other Filipino foodies they were like homemade and their ingredients are high quality. I have tried their other dishes like adobo, menudo, lumpia's and monggo or mung bean veggie soup, This Filipino fast food is known for their authenticity, and the servers are super nice and friendly, they always have long lines because of the way they cook Filipino food traditionally, Their style is like turo-turo in Tagalog means fast casual Filipino dining style where customers point to the food they want and receives a generous portion combo 2 entrees, they served everything u named it. Like bbq skewers, sausages or longganisa, veggies like pinakbet well basically everything, They're next to Seafood city in Chula Vista exit Orange 805 freeway, Last Sunday when I came they give me free coffee, nice ! Filipinos are sweet and friendly, homey feels like here. Salamat po! Means thank you, Masarap means delicious, Great Filipino cuisine try it folks ! Don't forget to buy the Lechon it's yummy n crispy and well seasoned.its the Philippines well Known food. And try the adobo it's the national dish of the Philippines.

Jochi's is a nice, quick restaurant for Filipino food. I came here on a Sunday morning when they opened. There was no wait. They had a great selection of breakfast items. The servers were friendly. They have plenty of seating despite being relatively small, and there is more than enough parking. I ordered the tosilog with garlic-fried rice, and it was great. Try this spot if you're in the area.

This establishment is located at a very busy plaza and 95% of the stores are either run by or owned by Filipino's. Once you walk in, it smells and feels like the Philippines Parking is plenty and there are NO restrooms at all. It is a bit dirty, meaning the tables and floor as people have to bus themselves and the staff does not clean the tables so if you spill on the table, you are expected to wipe it down. The ambiance is ok as the crowd is mixed between Filipino, white and Hispanic that come in and dine. The tables are really close to each other and It was a bit uneasy eating when people are soo close to each other. I guess it was just stroke of the luck when we dined in there were two ladies next to us that were really loud and obnoxious and had no care in the world who heard them talking smack. The food menu changes constantly so there a variety and all sorts to eat. They give plenty of food per serving. 2 cupful of rice that looks like it will feed a small family, 2 different types of entree as it is very plentiful as well and a small bowl of soup. Water is self service by they have a variety of cans as well as Asian drinks in a can to buy. The reason I give this only 3 stars is because t you have to clean the tables before you eat, bus it again after you eat and there are no restroom for the restaurant. The food is excellent, inside is a no, so I suggest you order your food to go and enjoy it elsewhere. If it were just for the food, I would give it 4 stars however, the dining experience is subpar to what we have experienced at other places.

And most of the ones I have tried does not compare to moms cooking. Because of mom's health she no longer cooks.... Husband was so kind listening to my food cravings and doing research, he found this place. First, this place is located in strip mall mostly made of food stops. Secondly and importantly, the parking is no joke! Come early and watch where you park. The parking is not plenty and the area is narrow, making it a challenge to see when pulling in or out of a parking space. When you get out of your car your sensory will be on overload on the aromas that seem to hook you by the nostrils! You walk in the restaurant and you will see the tables most likely all taken. How it works is you walk up to food counter and select what items you want. They offer different platter options. It was a lot going on up the food menu on the wall above the staff. Behind the counter it is well staffed so even though the line may be long it moves pretty quickly. Husband and I decided to go with a two item platter. My platter I choose half and half (rice and noodles) . My two items were chicken adobo and diniguan. We got an order of lumpia too. I found the chicken adobo to be pretty good! The chicken portion was pretty good. With chicken adobo there seems never to be enough of the sauce to saturate the rice. The diniguan to my surprise passed the test! It was tasty and had the right balance of flavors! I saved half to share with mom and she liked just as well. A plus for us is they serve seltzer (soda water)! They do have a self serve water station off to the side. The lumpia was good, but I probably would try one of the skewers next time. I forgot to mention that we had to ask to share a space at a table with another couple as there were no more open tables. They gladly shared. There are not outdoor seating. I would definitely visit this spot again.

Despite the restaurant not being as clean or well-maintained as one might expect, many customers, including myself, keep coming back because the food has traditionally been worth it. However, my last two visits have been disappointing. Since I now live more than an hour away, I don't get to visit often, so it's frustrating to make the drive only to find that some of the dishes I specifically came for--such as kalderetang kambing and sisig--were unavailable both times. What made the experience even more disappointing was the wait. The line was long, the weather was hot and sunny, and yet it barely seemed to move. It felt like the staff were in no hurry despite the number of customers waiting outside. I understand that food service can be busy and challenging, but the pace of service was frustratingly slow. The food is still good, and the portions remain generous, but between the limited availability of popular dishes and the lengthy wait times, my recent visits left me wondering whether the trip was worth it. I hope they can improve their inventory planning and speed of service because the restaurant definitely has the potential to provide a much better customer experience.

I was torn between the tortuga ninja and the breakfast mexipino. Decided to go with the mexipino sandwich and the ube pancake. Ube pancake - served on a pizza plate. Wow factor lol. The pancake was good, however i felt it could have used a macapuno syrup or something coconutty to complement the ube. The drizzle they put on it was good and i asked for extra and it boosted the flavor. This can probably feed 4-5 people depending on how hungry you are. Mexipino sandwich - this was good enough to split. I loved the savory and sweetness and saltiness. All the flavors complimented one another and i did a happy food dance. Calamansi mint drink - it was just ok for me. Reminds me of the calamansi drink from the pouches and they just added mint. It was too sweet for me so i probably wouldn't order again. I really liked the bangus, they fried it and it's big and so fatty which I love but the only thing was, they don't have tomatoes that should go with it.
