This place is unique in its own right and It's my understanding that they serve Pakistani fusion cuisine. I'm not familiar with the cuisine, but I can still taste the authenticity in the flavors. If you're biased towards traditional Indian masala and biryani as I am, this place might not be for you....unfortunately this place isn't for me. I ordered the beef tikka biryani, a garlic naan and the chicken tikka masala. - The rice portions of the Biryani were generous and the beef was well seasoned. The beef was tender and cooked nicely - The masala was missing the creaminess that I love in curry and was more on the oily side. It is served with a hefty amount of chicken. Not sure if I missed it, but no spice level options?...I need some heat! I don't like how it is served in one plate with the rice......hope they separate they rice in a cup someday. It is probably fine for the dine-in customers, but the I can safely assume the majority of the customers are eating carry out. - The naan is also a bit on the thicker side, if you're into that. Flavor was decent. Environment: Lots of seating, clean and the staff are really friendly. I give the food a 3-star, but the restaurant as a whole deserves 4-stars. read more

Oh my goodness! I got to try to the Chicken Street Fries and they were even better than I hoped! I actually had my wife pick them up and she is not an adventurous eater (like me) so she already thought she wouldn't like Kabob Bros but she made sure that I knew how good these fries were before she even got home. Smells rich of traditional spices when you walk in which I love. We had a pretty good sized group and ordered multiple things on the menu. My favorite was probably the chicken chapli kabobza, essentially a pizza on pita bread (naan). Their signature sauce is delicious and the masala did not disappoint. Yelp Utah was actually the one to originally introduce me to Kabob Bros with an event they did in 2022 but I have come back a few times since because it is so great. First, the location is prime. It is right in that awesome Midvale area by TopGolf, Winco, and all kinds of other awesome spots. I am pretty sure the speed limit is 50 on that road just so people can get to Kabob Bros faster Every time I have visited here, I have needed an explanation of the menu items. I should know by now but I always get confused and want to make sure I am ordering what I like. As much as I like Indian food, I am not the biggest fan of Kabob Bros' Indian food. It is nothing personal and they may actually have really good Indian food, but I am just too excited about the street fries. The street fries are absolutely amazing and they are my go-to when I come to Kabob Bros. The street fries are waffle fries that come loaded with peppers, cheese, your choice of protein, and all kinds of amazing sauce goodness over the top. Another thing that stands out to me with Kabob Bros is the service. The people working have always been really nice and helpful. They are patient and willing to explain whatever you'd like to them without making you feel dumb. They are also super quick with getting your food out to you and they always get your order right. I truly cannot say enough good things about Kabob Bros. I don't live close to them but if I am in the area, you can bet I will keep them in mind for some great food. read more

It was one of the few places that were open on Christmas eve, so we decided to try it. The restaurant was very clean. The staff was very kind and answered my questions about what could be made vegan (they mark on the menu what is gluten or dairy free, vegetarian, or vegan. However the menu only states the fries, samosas, and falafel are vegan, so I wanted to see if any of the entrees could be made vegan). Our food also came out very fast (but we were the only people there). I ordered the falafel masala, and the others got chicken tikka masala and the samosas to share. The samosas were pretty good, they were very crispy on the outside and the flavor was good. The falafel masala was okay-- I personally didn't like the flavors of the masala. The falafel was good, but I don't think the falafel and masala pair well. My rice was also very salty, and the masala was already salty, so I didn't end up finishing. I recently visited SLC for a ski trip with a stay at the Fairfield Inn in Midvale. For dinner my first night, I tried the Kabob Brothers. As background, I am a fan of south asian cuisine. I eat it often and occasionally cook it. I am from the Northeastern US close to NYC and Edison NJ. Although my expectations were not high for KB, I was pleasantly surprised. I ordered the lamb shank. It was properly cooked and spiced. It was excellent: soft and silky, not rubbery at all. I was so pleased with the lamb shank, I returned another evening to try the chicken biryani. That too was delicious and well spiced and prepared. Too bad for me that I have to leave SLC tomorrow. If I had stayed longer I would have come again to try the kabobs. Pakistani owned, 100% halal menu items, I have been here a couple times and I really like the food. The owner is welcoming and comes in to check on how your meal is. The portions to price is good. Came in about an hour before close. Love the calm relaxing environment. Service was incredible and the reason I gave 2 stars. Honesty the food was not to my liking at all. I told them medium (4 of 10) spice in my Biryani but it was more like a 10. I am normally pretty good with heat but I ate 2 bites and was done. In those few bites I also hurt my teeth on what looked and felt like bone. I will try it again with no spice and hopefully I can change my review. So sad it wasn't a better experience. read more

Last night in the area i was looking for something different. Saw this place and thought I have never had Pakistani food but I love Mediterranean food so i went. The gentleman behind the counter suggested the Mixed Kabob Platter bc it gives you a little bit of the seasoned chicken and beef along with falafel's and chipali over rice. It also came with a side salad. He asked if I wanted it spicy or not. I said let's go medium spice. Got the platter and it was more food than i could eat. The seasoned chicken and beef was great. The chapli's were very tasty. Never had any chapli's before and i really enjoyed these. I don't like falafel so i ate one and it wasn't any different than any other falafel (dry and bland). My rating ignored those bc thats a personal issue. The spice level was higher than i expected. The spices used to bring the heat was very flavorful and enjoyable. Really brought out all the meat flavors in the platter. It wasn't unbearable but it sure opened up the sinus passages. Not every place you can leave full and sinus opened and cleared. For my first experience of Pakistan style food I really enjoyed it. If I get a chance I'll be back. read more

This one of my favorite new spots and the staff is so nice. They are happy to explain the menu which is basically Pakistani food Americanized into cheese covered french fries with grilled meats on top or pizza made from naan. My absolute favorite is a special that they do from time to time that they called the Ramadan Special which is a Pakistani interpretation of a Philly Cheesesteak that blew my mind. It comes with a side of Chicken Tikka Curry to dip the sandwich in similar to a french dip. I dream about this sandwich sometimes it was so good. The only problem I have had so far is that when I order a chicken wrap they tempt me with swapping out my healthy salad with fresh cucumbers and tomatoes for the hot and salty french fries. read more

We placed an order yesterday for my birthday treat for my family. Since it was 4th of July, we called ahead to make sure they are open. The order was placed at 7.58 pm and they told us they are open till 9 pm. When I reached to pick up the food at 8.15 pm, the place was closed. Not a phone call nothing to us. Today in the morning a lady called us with not an apology nothing- straight away asked if we want the food we ordered yesterday in the morning today or a refund. I mean I do understand you might not be great at conversing with people but have the basic courtesy to acknowledge what you did. If you had our number yesterday, you guys could have called yesterday before you left or inform your third parties that you are closing so that no one can place any order. Ordered a chicken tikka kabobza and ended up getting a kiddie style pita pizza with veggies only. Paid $9.99 for this lol...This was just a pita bread that they called a naan and slathered tomato sauce, onions, green peppers and pickles with hardly melted cheese. Also ordered beef tika street fries which were frozen seasoned waffle fries with the same veggies and beef thrown on top. The garlic naan was terrible. At least the mango shake was decent.
