Been coming here for years with my family. Hands down the best middle eastern restaurant in the area. From their fresh bread to their addictive garlic spread the flavors are on point. The customer service there is exceptional especially Stephanie. She always has a smile on her face and is always eager to serve everyone there. I've never had an owner of a business be as rude, or just plain unknowledgeable of their own business. I went to the register for carry out and ordered a large Tabouli salad and paid cash. As soon as the gentleman handed me back the change I turned around and saw the special of the day. Deboned Chicken which comes with a salad. Less than 30 seconds after handing me the change. I asked if I could order the Deboned chicken plate and have the large Tabouli salad ADDED to the plate. The person looked at me and just said NO it's in the computer I can't change it. I said can you just charge me the price for the Chicken plate and ADD the difference of the large salad. NO it's in the computer it canted be changed. I said I don't want to change the salad I want to add the Deboned Chicken plate. No it's in the computer and it's been sent back it can't be changed. I said you just sent it back. You cant tell them? No. he said. I found it hard to believe someone would just say NO it can't changed, when they were standing only 15 feet from the kitchen. Less than a minute after ordering. And to top it off the person at the register was the OWNER of all people. The woman behind him tried to tell him how to change, or add, the order but he just said No again. I couldn't believe the Owner didn't want more money. Instead of just telling paying customers NO, maybe the Owner should learn some Customer Relations skills or at the least be intelligent enough to learn the computers system they own. Always great food. The chicken fattoush salad is big enough for 2 and is a favorite. Kabob House also has the best hummus in Metro Detroit. Lunch is off the hook busy but they do a fantastic job of getting customers in and out. read more

Waitresses were very concerned with their own lives instead of preforming good customer service. Food was good however by the time I had gotten my salad my entree Was already served. Also, you could hear the managers screaming in Arabic at the waitresses, and if you understand Arabic, you would be highly offended! I go to the other one on 19 and Garfield and I've never been this upset by their staff ! read more

Kabob House is amazing, favorite place, so much food for your money and always have left overs for the next day!!!

Finally got around to trying this place with my wife and I must say, we should have came sooner. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the food was terrific. We can't wait to go back and try more dishes. read more

Ok, about a month ago decided to try this place at lunch, was fairly busy but there was numerous empty booths with no lines to get in. We must have stood waiting to get a table for 10 minutes! Lots of employee's walking by just ignoring us, so we left. Went back this week to give this place another try, exact same thing! this time they were not busy at all, had numerous waitress's just ignore us again, this time waited at least 10 minutes, this cut my hr lunch down enough that I did not even have enough time left on my lunch hr to go somewhere else and had to go back to work!! read more

I do like SKHs food and it usually comes out tasting great. I have had the kabob, shish kafta, Lentil soup, hommus, and salad. I will only give four stars because the customer service is sub-par. The girls working the floor really need to come up with a plan to organize their service along with prioritizing customer's and cashing out customers fast. It's not good and in fact, it's terrible. There is a method to the madness when working as a waiter/waitress and I have a feeling these girls have no experience in this area and it shows. They need to pick up speed and get customer's served and cashed out. I have sat for 15 minutes without a menu or water while waitresses were walking around me. This is not acceptable. read more

The garlic dip is amazing and the hot bread is wonderful! Prices are amazing and the waitresses are sweet and check on u every min before u know u need them the painting is wonderful and the food is beyond amazing!! One word for kabob house: amazing. If you are looking for middle eastern food in the metro Detroit area this is the spot. Doesn't matter how far your drive is, it's worth it. My boyfriend and I came here to dine in about 2 months ago. What a mistake. Nothing was clean (food all over the floors, menus were sticky, drinking glasses were filthy). We decided to stay anyway and try to look past it. They only had one other booth eating in so it didnt appear to be busy. The waitress spent more time laughing and chatting to her coworker and staring at us than doing her job. When my boyfriend was ordering, she left the table before he was finished telling her what he wanted! I have been eating middle eastern, at multiple locations (including homemade) for over 4 years. Lentil soup can vary from place to place - its to be expected depending on spices and ingredients. However, the soup I got was crusty and caked (yes CAKED) on to the side of the cup, as if it had been microwaved and the cup itself was burning hot. Who microwaves their soup?! Our waitress never once asked us how our food was or came by for a "courtesy check." However she was sure to turn the tv off when she noticed my boyfriend was watching it. Thankfully we only got sandwiches, a salad, and the soup so we didnt stay long. The sandwiches were the only thing that saved this place so I gave a single star. I will never go back to eat at Super Kabob House, and I definitely dont recommend dining in. If you do, be wary of the middle eastern girl who looks like she spends all her time and money trying to get plastic surgery to fix up her face. You cant miss her or her horrible duck botox lips. read more

Our office orders from this place at least once a week, sometimes through grubhub. The last order was wrong but we understand they get really busy. Todays order was wrong again and when I called to let them know we received Shawarmas with no pickles or tomatoes, Stephanie at the front desk placed me on hold and yells to her co worker, "I dont know why they cant be like normal people and just pick up there order, I am sick of this!" When she returned on the phone I informed her that I heard what she said and explained that we work in an office and can not leave to pick up food always but that give you no reason to be rude to your customers! if you cant keep up with orders then do not offer a delivery service. She explained that they are just really busy and cant keep up with all the order and offered NO apology. Although their food is great the customer service is below par, for this reason I will have to find a new Med. restaurant. This is not the first time we have had rude service. read more

wooow i never seen a place like that before i walked in 2 waitresses talking loud didn't even greed me or look at me...well when they finally finished talking they sat me down one waitress come to my table with cold bread and garlic i asked her for hot bread she said we don't have bread ...i ordered a sandwich and soup and a drink and they let me have it for dinner even tho the lunch special is from 11-3 well that was nice of her ...... well the sandwich came and i never got my soup the waitress never checked to see if i got everything or if i need a refill on my pop the same waitress is arguing loud to a person inside the kitchen F..this and F that then he came out trying to calm her down and she will not shut up ..he looked like shit in front of people that were there...i wanted to complain to the owner about the service but i saw how she was acting i never bothered talking to the owner which i don't think the owner would be there allowing a person talking like this in his business...i will never go back it was my first and last time read more
