Middle Eastern food. So simple, so delicious... Our party of six started off with some hot out of the oven pita with that delicious garlic dip they call Toum. One of our party ordered some fresh made hummus that we enjoyed while waiting for our dinners to arrive. Before we knew it, huge platters of freshly made salad, Chicken Shawarma and Chicken Cream Chopped hit the table and we momentarily sat and looked at them in amazement. Huge portions of chicken, rice and greens which would easily feed 2 or 3 hungry adults were right there in front of us. These enormous portions of tender chicken, rotisserie roasted and perfectly seasoned were just the thing we were looking for. Both dishes were flavorful without being overly spicy. The Chicken Shawarma was my favorite of the two with perfectly seasoned, moist and tender meat that kept me eating even when I was plenty full. The Chicken Cream Chopped was more like boneless fried chicken, breaded and also lightly seasoned to perfection. I preferred the first dish but in any case, you really just can't go wrong with either one. Service was fast and friendly but felt a little choppy towards the end as everyone but us got their bills. Took a little too much time for get this taken care of. Minor enough issue but slightly irritating none the less. All in all, a very good experience. I'd go back again tomorrow so I'm giving them 4 Stars. Check this place out for yourself when you are in the Warren area. An A Little More Food For Thought: * Portions are ridiculously huge here. I like middle eastern food and usually don't come out this way since it's a bit far for me, but I had the pleasure of getting together with a few yelpers so driving to this side of town was good for me. I've never heard of this place before, so it was new for me. Walking in, the place is large with plenty of seating. We were a group of 6, so we were able to snag a table easily together. I reviewed the menu and noticed that most of the dishes were items that I was not as familiar with and had to google some of them to know what they were. I knew I definitely wanted hummus as I love fresh hummus and most middle eastern places offer this dish as an appetizer. Our server brought it out but the wait for the break was tremendous. I didn't keep time, but it was a solid 10 to 15 minutes later for the bread that she had to have heated up for us. We each ordered something different, but the servings here are huge. like split the dish and still bring home leftovers huge. We were all amazed at the size of the portions when it came out. Even the salads! The food was tasty and everyone seemed to enjoy their dinners. Our server was friendly and kind, but service was touch and go. A few delays here and there (the bread was one, the bill at the end for my dish was another.) but overall a decent enough experience. While the portions were huge, I found the selection of food items on their menu to be mediocre at best. Plus, the portions were huge so if you not starving and looking to feed a small baseball team, I thought it was sort of wasteful. Does this make my experience bad? No. But, sometimes people are just not that starving. Maybe some half servings would be good. For our one meal, which was chicken, rice, a salad and hummus came out to be $20. Not bad considering the portion sizes, but I would have liked a variety of smaller sized dishes and what not. Thank you for accommodating us at the last minute for a party of 6. Love this food, most amazing Middle Eastern in the area, best hummus ever. However, for Father's Day, we drove from Waterford / Clarkston area only to find out that while they are open until 8 on Sundays, they are only open for carry-out service. Dine-in only from 11-2 PM daily. I'm super bummed and disappointed that this is not mentioned on Google or when I called to see if they were open. There were so many people driving in to eat, and so many were being turned away. Come on, Kabob House! You are missing out on tons of revenue and making a lot of customers upset. 68 mile ish round-trip wasted since we did not come for carry out. read more

This establishment has the best chicken shawarmas around. Clean atmosphere, great service, always warm pita bread, and very inexpensive also. *Word of advise is to eat in if possible, they give you bread and garlic sauce while you wait and it is delicious!!! GrubHub also does a very good job at getting you the food while it's still warm! The only downside is no bread and garlic sauce. I do request extra garlic sauce on the side which I advise because you can literally make anything taste great with it! Update: Great experience today! I went here during lunch on a Wednesday with some colleagues. They raved about it and, after trying it myself, I can see why!! Though the restaurant was crowded, the service was incredibly fast - filling our waters, taking our orders, and bringing bread, garlic spread, and then our ordered meals. Let's start with the bread and garlic spread: When you sit down, the waitress brings you this basket of cute, disks of pita that come out puffy and streamy. Along with the basket of pita comes a small bowl mounded with pillows of white fluff. What is this fluff? Only the most delicious, garlicky spread that is absolutely addicting! Pair the perfect texture and chew of the pita with the garlic spread and it's heaven! Onto the meal: I ordered the chicken fattoush salad because of great Yelp reviews and honestly it was fantastic. It is stacked high on the plate with two sliced slabs of grilled chicken. The salad has lettuce, tomato, cucumber, purple cabbage, celery, and onion as well as seasoning and these fried pieces (texture similar to a fortune cookie) that add a nice crunch! Then there's this acidic but well balanced dressing that brings the salad to life! Pro tip: add some garlic spread to the chicken for some additional flavor explosions! Also note: the parking lot on the back side of the building tends to be less crowded. Next time: I'll be tying the almond rice because I've heard it's out of this world. NEVER again! Ordered on Father's Day, had a problem with our order. Called the restaurant, after telling them what was wrong she said we ordered the wrong item and then just hung up. Called back and told her I had the receipt that showed that I ordered the correct item she stated "Um babe, I am the owner's daughter and this entree has never came like that", and then hung up. $70 of money down the drain. No wonder they are only carry out because they are short staffed. If they treat their employees like their customers, I wouldn't work for them. read more

Thieves! Their food is very good but the owner wouldn't refund my $80 double-billing, once through DoorDash and the other in person, when I accidentally paid at the pick-up counter. The clerk should not have asked for my card on an order placed through their web site, which is run by DoorDash. Anyway, I just noticed it on my credit card statement, confronted the owner, showed it to him, and he made up a few lame excuses and refused to refund or offer restaurant credit! Whats wrong with people, this place is minimum 4.5 star, a true gem. If you're here for a fancy meal and great service, you will be disappointed. The service is normal, but the food portions are huge, and the chicken kabob is the best I've had in the state. I am Lebanese, I live in Dearborn, and I will say this is my favorite lunch place for middle eastern food. Tabouli, or fattoush are amazing. Hummus is perfect. Disclamer - I love Super Kabob House. BUT, they moved to a new location, which in reality is fantastic because there is now more seats, you don't have to wait as long for a table, and service is still pretty good. Got here for lunch on a busy Tuesday, and got a table right away. Ordered the Chicken Schwarma sandwich with a lentil soup. I see the concept of what they're doing, but bad execution. The sandwich came out right after the soup and was not even warm. As I noticed staff coming out of the kitchen, it seems the sandwiches are already premade and then brought out. The meat was cold, the tomato was super mushy and I was VERY disappointed. As usual, the Tohm (garlic spread) was on point and the pita rounds were warm and delicious. Now I know to order something that has to be cooked off the menu next time we go, or modify the sandwich so it's made fresh. read more

This is one of my favorite kabob places in Southeast Michigan! The food here is amazing. I really love the Chicken Shawarma Salad. I'm not sure what kind of dressing they use but it's delicious! I highly recommend trying it. Also, this is one of the rare places where you can find Sujuk in the Warren area. If you enjoy spicy sausage, I recommend trying the Sujuk Sandwich. The garlic and bread is phenomenal when served warm. I've eaten two baskets of bread while waiting on my food before. They also carry a Deboned Chicken special. The last time, the=y screwed up my order and I was promised a credit - but the next time, they had no record of it. I work very close, so I've been there many times. It gets very busy during lunch hours, but the food always comes pretty fast. I loooove their warm bread and garlic dip, it's one of the best I ever had. The portions are huge, I usually end up taking half home (maybe because I eat so much of that warm pillowy bread dunked in garlic dip lol). Their deboned chicken is amazing, so much flavor. Everyone is always attentive and friendly. There usually is a bit of a line for take-out. You really cannot go wrong with anything here. We are partial to the chicken fattoush salad. I have had the meat shawarma here as well. It is not my favorite but the portions are massive. One serving can easily feed two with the rice and the salad. So come here hungry! My daughter and I ate at Kabob House yesterday and we became ill. I called to tell the store that I am not interested in a refund or anything but was giving a courtesy call that we had gotten food poisoning and to notify them to check their products. The customer service was absolutely terrible. The worker that answered the phone was very disrespectful and told me to take my a** to the hospital. She was hollering at me like I was a kid and was very defensive stating that I was the only person that called and that it wasn't their food but something else that caused it. This is my hands down favorite ! They have by far the best salad dressing, the best hummus, the best chicken shawarma, and the best garlic sauce. The hot bread is fantastic. You don't get the hot bread with take out, you get the flat pita, but I really like that too. It's locally made. Two thumbs up. I took off 1 star because their beef/lamb kabobs are disappointing. This place is on fleeeeeek! 1.) The portions here are enormous. 2.) Ever since they moved across the street, business has definitely been booming. If you try to park in the lot from 11:30-1pm good luck. 3.) The deboned chicken is their special and my usual go to at this joint. But today I opted for a more nutritious option and chose the chicken fattoush salad. Look I'm not a salad guy by any means, but this salad will make you a believer. It came with too much dressing for me but at least two chicken breaths on top. And in book that's a win baby. 4.) The atmosphere is pleasant if you don't come during the lunch rush. But if you do so happen to make it here on your lunch break, expect noise and lots of it. There are people from all walks of life gathered in this one spot and they all are speaking in their native tongues loudly so that they all can hear each other. It's actual a beautiful thing to see. This food is something that everyone can agree on. And the general consensus is, that it is good indeed. 5.) I'm a big guy and I always have leftovers, you are competitive eater if you don't leave this joint with out a box.
