The food was not good today. We got a chicken tender bowl and the chicken was not the usual chicken tenders, they were tough, dry and thigh meat. The rice from the dish also had a bad plastic smell and tasted like fish. We also got the cornish hen and the chicken did not taste good and the rice had the same issue as the other one. Since the management changed, the food has not been the same... this kabob hutt used to be one of my favorite halal local restaurants but I've been going less and less because of issues like this. The location is a bit hard to find but once inside the place does have middle eastern decor, nice music and the staff were friendly. The plate comes out full!! However it lacked seasoning. Highly disappointed with our service tonight! Called in order, a man took it, then a lady asked to repeat order - it was NEVER placed. Got home, "Juicy Chicken Plates" - $15.99 EACH were just a box w/6 pcs of chicken. We've ALWAYS sub rice for salad. Today, got charged a plate combo & an add charge for salad. Would've ordered a Full House Salad & side order kabob. Also, pita was missing the butter and onions. Most disappointing (more than having to repeat the entire order) was when we called to question the charges - absolute ZERO empathy or apology. I am a hospitality veteran and was highly let down. After going for many years to this establishment I was shocked by the manager Madison told us just to pack up our food and leave while we were still eating our food half way through our meal. Being in the customer first business myself and as a manager of a very large business I have never experienced worse attitude towards a customer in my life. If this the way the ownership wishes to prescribe there staff they too should find another line of work, maybe seek employment in the dmv. I have been driving by the Kabob Hutt on my commute and finally stopped by on the way home. It was nice because I was able to order multiple plates and otherwise combine it family-style. The Steak Shi-Kabobs were perfectly cooked (medium). The chicken was a bit over but still very good in flavor. It sat in tin foil for a good 20 minutes so it may have continued to cook during the commute. Along with the kabobs, we had the saffron rice and their house salad and a side order of hummus. I am not sure what the house dressing was but it was very good. There is a drive-thru option. But they cook the kabobs fresh so even if you do the drive-thru, you will be waiting approximately 20 minutes unless you order in advance. read more

Hello, I wanted to let you guys know about my resent experience at Kabob hut in corona. I called on Sunday around 1:45pm to inquire wether the restaurant was busy at that time due to Mother's Day. I was told it wasn't and when we (me and my family of 5) got there 15 min later the whole restaurant was full inside. We ended up having to sit outside surrounded by dirty tables and flys. The service was horrible. The waiters were so busy I had to ask for napkins 3xs. We ordered 3 osh's which were my favorite up until Sunday. The osh tasted watered down. It was tasteless. I was very disappointed. I am not sure if I will be back due to the very bad experience we had and of how bad the osh was. Osh used to be my fav :(. The one thing that we loved was your hummus and the shirazi salad. Over priced for sure. I don't mind spending money here but when you get such bad service and food then it was a waste of time and money. Did not enjoy this lunch. We had to request extra bread 2xs before we actually got it. We didn't have anything to eat the hummus with....:/ I have a feeling that I will not be going back there anytime soon. read more

Their (meat) serving is small per plate and priced as if you're eating truly authentic (which is a FAR FAR CRY but authentic). There was hair in our rice dish. There was a mob close to our table. This place is a little bit of a drive especially on a Friday with traffic but their food is definitely worth it! Their rice is delicious and their chicken kabobs are cooked to perfection. Hands down some of the best we've ever had. We almost always get the barberry rice that is nice n buttery and the chicken kabobs which are seasoned and cooked perfectly. One of our fave places to dine when we lived in Corona was Kabob Hutt. There is a drive-thru which isn't obvious unless you've been here before. Today I thought it was closed cuz the sign appeared blacked out (or perhaps super dirty), and the menu was covered in a green tarp. Cars were in their lot so I got outta the car. An hour and 40 minutes into my commute from Orange County, it wasn't a bad idea to break and eat properly at a table. It's clean, welcoming, and in it's own way - pretty when I walk in. This restaurant has 3 seating areas: private party partially closed off, main dining, patio seating and tables. Patio has four soft cushion chairs surrounding a stone fire pit. I'm sure that's the best spot outside on a weekend evening. I ask about their drive-thru; still open! They're changing prices and the task hasn't been completed yet. I'm seated in the main dining which gave me a chance to capture their charming interior decor. Again I've arrived before the dinner crowd. Menu given to me was a two sided flip menu encased in a glass frame with smooth edges. Thoughts: allows menu to have longer paper life, and easy spray and wipe clean glass. Cool... Flat bread with a quarter raw onion and really cold butter is placed in front of me. Never got why cold butter was served, rather than room temp. Plus points on the raw onion... clears the sinuses. Linner was hand-rolled chicken with brown rice, side of garden salad w/creamy vinaigrette. Left the dressing alone. Squirted the lemon wedge all over my food instead - yeah that works. I hadn't started eating yet cuz you know I gots to take a photograph. What a huge portion! Feeling full already admiring the plate. Hey, but that's good cuz it's worth it :-D The salad was extra though. (I have reserved opinions about salad costs.) Ultimately, deliciousness of the food here never fails. If you like exotic flavor or are adventurous in your eating choices, I recommend Kabob Hutt. Their menu includes cocktails and desserts. New stuff: Hookah and belly dancing! Must be fun here on weekends! (You ever tried belly dancing? Figure 8 movements using only hips. Try it - good workout!) Credits to the one lady serving 5 tables when I left. Docking a star for the drive-thru confusion. Otherwise, for their food, hard-workers, pleasant servers, restaurant accommodation available, and entertainment; it's a cool place to hangout and enjoy some. This place used to be good. Save your money. No quality control over their food here. They gave us expired food and SOUR yogurt. We had food poisoning the next day. We called and the "manager" said there is a rule that you must call within the same day to get a refund or an exchange of food. We ordered at night and they were closed by the time we got home . He continued to say it the owner's rule and not his and was very argumentative. Worst customer service. He was arguing with me like a child and they lost a customer that was giving them business. He didn't care he said. He was putting blame on the owner and how it's his rule. Oh well. There are better places to go. Save your money and your tummy. read more
