We used to love coming to this restaurant but yesterday was my very last time at this restaurant. Our favorite waiter quit and although our waitress was nice, it just wasn't the same quality of service. Evidently they raised their prices as well. We paid $21.00 for Filet kabob...yes, ONE KABOB!!!!! And the filet was not good quality filet. It was supposed to be medium rare and it came out medium. I also added chicken to my salad which showed $7 on the menu and they ended up charging me $11.98 for ONE KABOB OF CHICKEN!!!!!????? For 2 people for lunch it was $74.25. NOT WORTH IT AT ALL! When I inquired on the total tab, the waitress just kept saying 'PRICES WENT UP, SORRY" Skip this place and go somewhere that's worth $74.25 for lunch. read more

A simple place that serves good Persian food. Although visible from Main St., it can be a little difficult to find as the parking lot entrance is off a side street, Washburn Circle. I typically come here for lunch and get a skewer each of Filet Mignon Soltani(chunk beef) and Chicken Koobideh(ground chicken). It's served with rice, but I upgrade to 1/2 rice, 1/2 house salad. The food is overpriced. I spent nearly $50 for 2 orders of rice and chicken kabobs. The worst part is the customer service. I was overcharged $1 for an order and when looking at the prices on the menu, I respectfully requested a $1 refund for the difference and the manager told me there was nothing he could do. Apparently the prices on the take out menu are only valid if you take out (which I did) AND put in the order online. Folks who call in are charged more. When I asked why couldn't they make this exception for $1, another employee told me because I didn't ask nice enough. If that doesn't bother you, I suggest take out only if ordering because the atmosphere of the restaurant is unpleasant. Rude, disorganized servers who can't really tell you about the food or what's in it. Also the food takes forever to arrive. Good luck. read more

The only reason I'm giving this place a one star is honestly because the service here is terrible. I come here very frequently, but it seems like the servers just forget about you. No initiative for refills or to come check on you. Don't bother with the hookah, they don't know how to pack it right, I stood outside for 30 min waiting to ask to repack the bowl and nobody showed up. Me and my family have been coming here for years and actually would even meet the owner every time we would come and eat. Their management changed recently and their service has gotten extremely bad and they're also extremely understaffed. A big indicator that the quality has gone down is the fact that their customers are mostly non arab. They upcharge everything and are very rude. Even if they get customers who are arab or brown, they give priority to their non arab customers. Extremely saddened to see this service. Will not be coming back here. Chicken Koobidieh w/half rice and half house salad and their yummy lemon vinaigrette dressing is my go to dish! For drink I love their ice tea with a sprig of mint! Mmmmmm, my mouth waters just writing about it! Do note that it's not like that on the menu but they're always so nice about preparing it that way for me. If you are planning on eating at Kabob Hutt I honestly don't recommend it the customer service was horrible!!! My order was completely wrong. When I got home and open my food was all wrong I called and I spoke to the "manager " to tell her about my order being wrong she was rude arrogant and refuse to give me her name or to even speak to her superior. instead she was yelling at me and kept hanging up on me.. She told me that if I called one more time she would block me and that it was a family own restaurant and the owners never came in to the restaurant. If I could give a minus review I would.i would like every one to know unless you wanna get charged for everything save your money theres better places, 1st off my wife found a hair in her food and they said it was a fiber from the brush but she found it in the rice, then if you ask for refill on hot tea it's a brand new charge. It's like dennys charging for a refill on coffee, then I asked for salsa and they charged me 2 dollars for salsa, at most places condiments are free, then to top things off I got a check I was about to pay it but they said it was wrong and the bill came out to be 20 dollars more. I've been here twice, and both times I really enjoyed my meal. I have had the borani as an appetizer, their chicken kabob plate and their chicken wrap. The borani is an eggplant and yogurt dip, topped with fried onions. DELICIOUS! It's so addicting. I always have to refrain from slopping on copious amounts of it on the lavash. I would come here just to eat that. That's how good it is. Their chicken kabob plate is a really good size. I'm someone who can put down a lot of food, but for some reason I could only eat half of my plate. Must of been all the borani and lavash beforehand. But anyway, the plate came with basmati rice and charbroiled veggies. Amazing taste on the veggies. Now pair that with a forkful of basmati and chicken.. mouthwatering. I'm salivating just thinking about it. The only reason why I didn't give this place five stars is because the service is pretty slow. Even when there is barely anyone in there. I feel like I have the wave my arms around for them to notice me. I don't really do that, but you get what I mean. Other than that, the serves and staff are really friendly!
