    Cardamom tea is really good!

A really cozy restaurant with a nice staff and owners. You wouldn't expect great food and service altogether in one place, but they've got it here. Everyone is courteous and you'll enjoy anything you order here. Got to try out Alsham with a group, and I gotta say, it all looked good and was tasty. I ordered the Falafel Wrap, which was just delicious, and it came with a flavorful sauce and the pickled sides. I was satisfied after having those bites! And...you gotta try their cardemom tea, it will really make your meal even more enjoyable. So, a great place for all your Mediterranean cravings! Will have to come back to try their kababs. Yum!

Clean. Friendly. Easy parking. Variety of menu. Family touch. Tasty food. They deserve our support and it was so good that I will be returning.

This place is amazing! The owner is very friendly and gave us exceptional service. The chicken, lamb and beef kabobs were very moist and tasty. We frequent lots of Mediterranean restaurants and Alsham is definitely our favorite.

This was my first time ordering from this place, and I have to say it was disappointing. The falafel were half cooked (see pic) and chewy, the Lamb Mandi was mediocre at best, and to top it off, they gave me half a piece of pita bread . I have never experienced that. The service was unwelcoming, and they confused me with a door dash driver . I had to tell them that I ordered directly on their website. I have to say that their website experience was good, but everything else was subpar. Needless to say, there will not be a second time

Great place for housemade mediterranian food in Covina! The restaurant has great lighting at night which was rare and I love it. Food was well cooked and used good quality ingredients. They were a bit too salty overall but still delicious and wouldn't ruin everything. They give generous meat that match up for the price they charge. Perfect for family or friends gathering because you can share multiple dishes!

Saturday, NOVEMBER 5th, 2022 A friend recommended this place to us, she told us the food was amazing! We thought we need to check this place out! First, they are overly priced! Secondly, there food has no flavor. We ordered Arayes and from the picture that was in the Menu Book looked amazing but when it came out, was nothing like it at all. It was so bland too! My Husband ordered chicken shawarma wrap but literally did not taste nothing like chicken shawarma had no salt nor spices in it. Place inside was very nice but food not so great!

    Decor

Very good food! Taste and spicy!! The service was amazing and very approachable! And loved the decor!

Always happy with our food. This place never lets us down. Not only are they welcoming but also very friendly. The price is somewhat high but that's because the quality of food is outstanding. They don't skimp on portions either. As you can see from the pictures the presentation is beautiful and flavorful. Alsham nails it every time. If you're looking for middle eastern food for 2 or a party of 50 Alsham is where it's at. The best of the best in Corona.

Service was excellent and the food was delicious and fresh! Portions were large and the waiter provided us with lemon water and tea.

I tried the breakfast combo with the paratha/roti, omelette, aloo, chana, and tea. A little spicy for me (but I'm rather soft when it comes to spiciness), but I really enjoyed the corn, potatoes, and roti (especially). And the tea was fine without sugar. I will def return when I am in the area! I thought that I had taken a photo, but apparently I didn't.

I came in with high expectations based on the glowing reviews. When I came in around 5 pm Friday, I…read morewaited a few minutes before someone came from the back to take my order. My food came out 15 minutes after ordering and was piping hot. I was excited to see my food made to order. Portion size 2/5: At first glance, it looked like a ton of food. However, there was only 4 small pieces of chicken in the chicken curry, a decent amount of potatoes and cauliflower in the mixed vegetables, and 80% of the plate was rice. After finishing the curry, I had 50% of my rice left. For $14.99 before tax, I did think the meal wasn't worth the price based on the quantity. Mossoor dal, 4/5: A lentil soup. Initially I drank it piping hot and thought it was too watery and flavorless. But once I let it cool down, I started gulping and got hit with a flavor bomb of spices, lentils, onions. This was the part of the combo. Rice, 2/5: The rice wasn't seasoned with any flavorings or fats. Since it's meant to be eaten with the curry I didn't mind the lack of flavor too much. However, the rice wasn't firm but a bit soft. Thankfully the rice wasn't mushy. But eating the rice alone was a boring experience. Mixed vegetables curry 3/5: As mentioned earlier, it was a mix of potatoes and cauliflower. It was seasoned well with the spices, but the flavor isn't what I would call complex. The curry was also fairly oily. The potatoes were soft and a bit creamy, and the cauliflower was firm. A nice mix of textures, and I concluded this curry was in the middle of the road compared to other places I had. Chicken curry, 0/5: Unfortunately, the chicken itself had no flavor. Despite using dark meat, it tasted as if it was simply boiled in hot water and had zero seasoning. The chicken tasted as if it was coated with oil (which will make sense in a bit), leaving in an unpleasant after taste of oil surrounding my tongue. The curry was even worse. The curry looked to be 50% oil, 50% curry solids and tasted even worse. It tasted like vegetable oil; no flavor at all. Maybe just a semblance of spice. Even when I tried to drain the oil out from my spoon, I tasted barely anything but heat. I hate wasting food, but I contemplated in throwing it away in disgust. Overall, I would had given this place a 1 star review for the chicken curry alone. However, the soup barely saves the meal, and I bumped it to 2 stars as a result.

The staff was super helpful in recommending things that were good and we just went with what he suggested. There are plenty of tables to sit at and service was pretty quick so that was nice! The portions were HUGE and so so good. We definitely would've been fine with just sharing one plate, but since this was on the way to my friends, it was nice having a little extra. I would definitely come back in the future and try a couple other things on that menu. - mixed grilled combo - double combo

I don't typically leave negative reviews, but our experience at Levanty was disappointing enough…read morethat I felt compelled to share it. We visited on a Sunday evening when the restaurant was nearly empty. We were among the first customers there and placed our order promptly. After we ordered, two other parties arrived, yet both groups received their food before us. The biggest issue was my mother's meal. The rest of our food arrived, but her entree took over an hour to come out. During that time, I checked with the staff multiple times and was repeatedly told that it was "on its way." Unfortunately, when it finally arrived, it was not worth the wait. The food itself was underwhelming. The shawarma was not very good, and the portions were surprisingly small for the prices being charged. We expected much better quality and value. I understand that restaurants can have off nights, and I generally try to be understanding. However, with an almost empty dining room, the long wait, serving later-arriving customers first, poor communication, and disappointing food quality, this was one of the worst restaurant experiences we've had in a long time. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and improves both the service and the food quality.
