I have been coming here for a few years now and I have to say I love this place. The prices are excellent and they do not skip out on the quantity of food they give you here. I have ate inside before but I mostly do take out for my own personal time reasons not related to their resturant. The few times I have ate inside though we're nice. They often have people play music here which is a nice touch. I will continue to keep coming back! read more

Worst customer service ever. I ordered a plate of beef koobideh for take out once and it was stale so I called and they said "they'd take care of it the next time we order." I ordered today and they're denying they ever said that and that they have no system of giving credit. The woman on the phone was very rude and she had no leniency. I will never come here again and will tell all my friends and my local church that caters from here all the time never to come here again. read more

Kabob hutt service sucks they have no customer service and no respect for the phone orders. They always forget to give me stuff like tomatoes or sumac or. Bread too. When I called back they denied me and did not reimburse. That sucks they will loose customers like that for sure. read more

10/14/2011 i finally convinced my husband to give kabob hutt another try. he wasn't to excited about it but said what the heck, maybe third time is the charm. i'm so happy we did we had a wonderful experience our waitress was amazing was always on top of everything. she started us of with a couple of drinks convinced us of trying the yogurt soda which was pretty tasty. from there we chose the maust khiar for an appetizer and we asked our waitress about trying something different i wanted beef and my hubby wanted chicken. she suggested the barg said it was really tender & tasteful my hubby ended up getting chicken with bone and wow!!! it was delicious we decided to upgrade to the 1/2 rice & 1/2 house salad and i don't regret paying those extra dollars. i'm happy we gave it another try and it was all thanks to our waitress... p.s we will be back pretty soon i want to try there new halloween drink devilish is the name. read more

It wasnt even packed there were open chairs & 5 mins just to seat us? Good food, as someone else mentioned the best ME food in the Inland Empire. It certainly is that. My first experience here wasn't good. I had ordered Fessenjoun, and was very very dissappointed with what I was served. I did complain, something I've never done before, and was not charged for the food nor my drink. They didn't ask any questions, just apologized. That made me feel comfortable trying them again. I came back got the Koobideh, and I've been a fan ever since. The prices are very competitive and you get more than you pay for. Everything is served up with a mountain of rice. Very yummy rice at that. They have belly dancing and live music on Fridays and Saturday. I've not been on those days yet, but it's something to keep in mind when you visit. Easily my favorite place to eat in the area. Just stay away from the Fessenjoun. I have a lot of confidence in this place because I was taken care of when I had my one time issue here. read more

For the past several years, every time we've driven by the Kabob Hutt, we've always remarked that we'd like to eat there -- we finally had dinner there last night. We started with the lavash, served with pats of butter and sliced onion, and then shared a Salad Shiraze (chopped cucumbers and tomatoes with onion and parsley), which was very refreshing. I had the Shish Kabob Chicken (marinated chicken breast charbroiled with bell peppers, onion and tomato) and my husband had Chicken Soltani (a combo of charbroiled boneless chicken breast and a strip of ground chicken with charbroiled tomato). Both entrees were served with a huge portion of basmati rice topped with saffron. There is also a shaker of sumac on the table which really complements the food. Both of our meals were delicious and the portions were very generous. The service was also great and we enjoyed the ambience. We'd definitely recommend this place. read more

Been coming here about 1 year now. First off: Their hummus is really good. Atmosphere on Fri/Sat is GREAT! Food portions have become smaller but its Persian food and tastes like Persian food. There is soup, chicken, steak dishes, and lots of white / jasmine rice. They could bring some sauce, or in some cases, more sauce. The pitas are fresh so they get hard really fast but the bartender makes some damn good pomegranate margaritas! YUM! You wouldn't want to pass up the chance to sit outside on the patio at the fire pit with your friends or just sit down there with random people like we always do! They have hooka as well. There is a belly dancer entertainment on Fri/Sat nights. We always have a great time...we don't go for the food, we go for the place, but the food is not bad at all. I'm surprised at some of the other reviews about the food. I do understand about the pricing/value/smaller portions. I placed a to go order here and the lady said it would be 15 minutes and she would bring it to my car....35 minutes goes by and I go inside to get my food...there were a couple people inside and it was not busy at all...idk why it took over 35 minutes to get my food when a normal restaurant doesn't even take that long....the people working here need to work on their customer service skills. This is the worst place I've ever been to! They were absolutely slow, expensive, and there food was disgusting and the hookah did not hit once so ever I would not recommend going to this place if you want decent food. I saw bugs on the floor and the place was repulsive. They should be shut down! I don't know how there can be bugs crawling around at a resturant! read more

This was my first time eating at Persian restaurant. I drive past the Kabob Hutt every day since it's right next to the 91, and have wanted to stop in for a while. My boyfriend and I went last night, we got seated right away, as it wasn't too crowded yet. Our server brought us the naan bread, onion, and butter. I skipped the onion and butter, but my boyfriend ate it. We are both vegetarians and there was a large vegetarian menu. My bf got the veggie skewers and I had the Borani. I love eggplant, and had never had it cooked this way - mixed with yogurt and whey, and it tasted ok with the rice that comes along with it. My boyfriend commented the veggie skewers were good, but that it was nothing special - something we could have very easily made at home. A big glass of the house red wine was only $3, and for dessert we shared the baklava. All in all, I'm glad we went, I liked the ambiance and great service, but the food was so-so. I don't think we will come again only because we are new in the area and looking to try lots of new places. read more

My family used to frequent Darya on Katella in Anaheim. It's a pretty pricey place, but the food is excellent. When Kabob Hutt opened in Corona, we discovered that the food tastes just as good...if not better..and is almost half the price. Great service and convenient drive thru. read more

I've been observing the new workers and it seems to me that they shower their customers and I attempted to get a gift card but they came up with many complications, which I believe was to steal money from me. This is a Deluded fast food version of Persian food. I really feel bad for people that have not eaten Persian food and eat at this place for the first time, it's that mediocre. My husband ordered steak and got chicken, dirty appetizer plates never removed from table during entire meal. My lamb chops were more steamed then grilled and they were overcooked.We do not eat rice and had to pay extra for salad and cut up veggies that were too lemony. My husband went to go pick up some food this evening. He surprised us with 4 different types of plates that Kabob offered. Chicken and beef plates that is, with 4 different types of rice to try. And, an order of their regular hummus and bread. Wow was it amazing, and kids approved too! Very flavorful. Can't believe we never stopped by sooner. I am very disappointed with this restaurant. Me and my family has been going here for years now, the service and the food is usually great until today. After celebrating Mother's Day at the beach we were craving kabob and decided to place and order at exactly 3:15. Whilst doing so, we were already getting inconvenienced by the number of times we were placed on hold. I had to call the restaurant 3 times before I can actually place an order! And if that isn't inconvenient enough, when we arrived through the drive through it took as about an hour before we actually got our meal. We had told them that we will be arriving at 4:15 and in reality arrived at 4:30 and still hadn't gotten our meal. Frustrated and hungry, a waitress actually told us to pull over to the side to wait and get our order. She questioned my order as if I barely got there! I refused to do so as we had been waiting for an hour. Finally, I just requested to get her manager and she had the audacity to say "no." I insisted and she said her manager was not in the premises... I held my composure and finally just requested for the managers number. At first she just gave me their regular restaurant number and refused to give it to me until I asked again. All in all I am extremely frustrated and will not be going to this restaurant anytime soon. We've been there 10+ times. They have a vegetarian section on the menu with a dozen selections and the portion is always more than we can finish in one meal. Most of the time we buy take-out but we also had lunch there. Both the atmosphere and service were wonderful. The music was soothing and feels especially refreshing during the hot day.
