Worst Ghormeh Sabzi I've ever had due to the poor quality meat. Then I was given dry, hard rice. I also ordered yogurt with shallot, and just got that. No flat bread to eat it with. No onion, no butter no seasoning to go with my food. $17 poorly spent. read more

The staff is horrendously horrible! There is absolutley no organization for which server takes what tables order. I went here a couple of weeks ago and had three different servers. One that took our order, one who took our drink order & brought out our food, and one who brought our check. Me and my friend ended up complaining because they brought his food out as cold as ice, he tried to eat some parts thinking maybe just the ends of the meat were cold. But it was the entire plate. We asked to have it heated up (assuming it'd be microwaved, ugh.) I finished my entire meal before his plate ever reappeared. So we complained, got his meal taken off the check and left promptly. Since I was able to eat my meal I can review that. I got the chicken kabob plate with half rice & half salad. The rice is really good, and I wish I would've gotten all rice instead of the salad. The chicken was alright, it was not good enough to come back for. We also ordered hummus as an appetizer, it was disgusting. It's totally from a giant can they just stick in the fridge. It had no flavor. They give you 'pita' bread when you first sit down, with raw onions & butter. I'm not sure if it's really pita, it's more like a cross of pita bread and a tortilla, and they give it to you cold (like fresh out of the refrigerator cold). Not sure if that's how the persians like it, but it wasn't worth eating (no wonder it's free..). Overall this place gets one star for the extremely poor staff & service, cold food and lack of flavor in the hummus, and chicken. eeewww... as soon as we got the appetizers i knew the food was nasty. i didn't even take more then two bites of it. When I was about to order a particular dish the waitress said she didn't like it but i could sample it. lol kinda killed my appetite... so when my food came the woman got my order wrong and she lied about it. Of course I was polite to the other waitress who asked what we wanted to drink and told her what happened. I luv, luv, luv persian food and this place is absolutely delish!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My hubby and I usually order #3 and #8. #3 is the Beef Koobikeh Double Skewer, Its two strips of juicy charbroiled seasoned ground beef and charbroiled tomato. This isnt ur regular ground beef meal. At first ur taken a back because they shape the ground beed into a kinda of sausage (so u can imagine wat it looks like :) ) but dont let that stop u from enjoying it because its delish!! #8 is the Shish Kabobob filet Mignon, their finest cut of filet mignon charbroiled with bell peppers onions and tomatoes. The meat is so soft and juicy it almost melts in ur mouth! The rice that comes with this meal is unlike any rice u may find at ur grocery store. Its called basmati rice, it is topped with saffron and it is soooo good!!! Their house salad is outta this freakin word!! We have never eaten at the resturant itself we always pik up at the drive thru --which is super convinient! The only complaint i have is that the customer service is not always exceptional. The wait is a bit long --because the food is made to order and the staff is not trained to excel in customer service when they have edgy customers wating on their meal. The WORST SERVICE EVER! I was warned by so many people how horrible the service is but I love Persian food, I decided to go in anyways. Worst service EVER! I was already told that complaining to the Hispanic manager wouldn't do any good, she is a bully, boy was everyone right. The employees are RUDE as soon as you demand good customer service, they literally roll their eyes and argue back (all I said was that I have been waiting for 30 minutes , the waitress started arguing back that wasn't true, apparently if they kept track of time, I waited longer than that. The food that we ordered wasn't even COOKED properly, when complained to the manager, she just grabbed the dish and asked, do you still want it? No apologies, nothing. After waiting for more than 30 minutes and getting uncooked food, I decided to walk out. Never going back. Everyone was right about the manager. Placed an order for 6 double skewer meals based on the menu price on the web ($9.00). Got to the place to pick it up had to pay $2.00 more for the chicken meals and $2.50 more for the beef meal. Even though the lady gave me the higher price over the phone I was already on the way to the place and wouldn't want to ask everyone who's order I placed if they want it still or not ...long story short when I asked the manager if they could honor the price as it was listed online or at least to offer a discount since they advertised it incorrectly she was not willing to do so. I was there on 05/19 having just flown in from SFO and I am here to tell you how FANTASTIC the food was. ALL OF IT. It was fresh, hot, plentiful and tasty!!! The experience made me wish that I had nore occasion to visit Corona more often. Fortunately a member of my family does live in Corona and was blown away with his first taste of Persian food. I can assure you that he will definitely be back. The "tarik" pronounced tahreek was plentiful, flavorful and very inexpensive. HIGHLY recommend a visit to this "oasis" . You won't regret it. My first time and meh, it was okay. Maybe it's because I went through the drive thru. But the presentation was pretty crappy and I'm never one to really care for presentation of food but this was pretty bad, lol. I got a side order of hummus and it came in a really small container and it was pretty watery. The chicken was alright...juicy but I wasn't a big fan of the weird after taste it left in my mouth, lol. And I am so used to other restaurants grilling the big chunk of onion that usually comes with the plate (one of my favorite parts, actually) and here they just give u a big chunk of raw onion. So yeah, didn't care for it too much. I'd rather drive to Redlands for Mr. Kabobs or Phoenicia than eat here again. read more

Let me start off by stating the positive. The food here is good, the star rating for the food itself is a 4 but overall I give this place a 2 star for the following reasons. I've been eating here for the past several years. I usually order the same item, house salad with chicken and lemon dressing. My server is usually Veronica, she's a 5 star, absolute doll. The times I go in and she's not there I always have a hard time. They are completely short staffed, today they had one lady attending to everyone in the restaurant. As for the food, they are extremely stingy with the servings. I ordered the house salad with Chicken, they barley had any feta cheese on my salad, I asked for a little more cheese and they charged me an extra $.99!!! When you have a regular at your restaurant and they ask for a little more cheese you should just give it to them without charging them an extra $1.00!!! The quality of the food is great but I don't recommend eating there during your lunch hour as it takes forever! In all fairness, its the only Persian restaurant I eat at in the Inland Empire but after today I don't think I'll go eat there. I might get the stew to go but I won't be ordering the house salad anymore not until they change!. read more

I have driven past here a bazillion times but never even considered trying it. Maybe it's the location or slightly scary parking in the back ... I'm not quite sure. But, someone brought my mom here for her birthday and she couldn't stop talking about how great the food was. I still had no intention of going until Mom insisted on bringing my brother who was visiting from out of state here for dinner. So we went. It was really nice inside and busy for a week night. Staff was friendly but overall a little slow. I didn't feel like they were ignoring us, just like that's the way it is there ... sort of a relaxed atmosphere. Not your typical American restaurant experience. Don't go here if you're in a hurry or if you want someone to check on you every 5 minutes. The important thing is the food. The food was WONDERFUL! We all ordered something different and we all loved our meals. There are so many choices on the menu that I'm quite sure that anyone could find something they like here. I have been raving about this restaurant to all of my friends ever since our visit. My 14 year old daughter has even asked to go back. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because of the parking situation. I would not come alone if it was dark so take that into consideration if you might be leaving in the dark. Even my brother commented on some of the "characters" that were just hanging out behind the restaurant where the parking is. I paid 17-20$ for a chicken or filet plate and they fill up the kabob with 90% onions, tomatoes, bell peppers and put barely around 3-4 oz of meat. We were hesitant to try Kabob Hut because of the bad service reviews, but boy are we glad we did. The food was wonderful, the place had great ambiance, the wait staff was super friendly and helpful. We even received extra sumac to take home with our doggy box. Sumac is a unique spice we had never tasted and loved. The waiter Robert gave us some to take home and cook with. We can't wait to go back very soon for a Sat. night dinner. read more
