I wanted to like this place, but it's just not a repeat for me. First time i visited, i arrived at 8pm. Their hours on the website, yelp, and their door day they are open until 9pm. I walked in, and the guy walked out from the back and just looked at me. He said they are closed. I asked why if they are open till 9, and he just stared at me. I then walked out. Since it is part of the AA dining program, i wanted to give it a try. I went back the next day at 6pm. There was a man working there, but he was just outside the door smoking. He finished his cig, and came in to take my order. I had the overpriced Beef Koobidah. It was one Koobidah and some rice. Flavors were fine, but the portion was not very big for the price. Further, after getting home and looking at my receipt, they tack on a 3.5% service charge. That is in addition to the tip that is asked for at the register. I don't get why do such a sneaky surcharge. Tried it once, but won't be returning....

We went to the one o. Canada blvrd . Lovely staff. Good food and low key but comforting place. Will definitely go there again or order out.

Excited for the new restaurant just opened up by GCC/Verdugo park. Flavorful, juicy and tender kabobs and koobideh served with fluffy Persian rice. They also delicious fresh bread from the clay pit oven at the store! There's ample seating inside. The portions are generous, great value for the price. They also offer free hot tea to customers. Must go check it out!

Glendale is known for the abundance amount of Kabob Restaurants. Weather it's Persian, Lebanese or Armenian own they all have similar qualities... meat cooked over a open fire. Kabob village is new in town and quickly has gained momentum to make it to the top of the list. Tasty dishes, excellent prices and a great location away from the main part of Glendale. So far I've had the lunch specials with the beef luleh and these chicken dishes. Very tasty, juicy and I left super full from the amount of meat/chicken and not overloading the plate with rice. Highly recommend everyone to give them a try. They now in my top 3 Kabob spots competing with Raffis Place, Shiraz and Shamshiri. Owner is very nice, out going and pleasant to speak with.

We walked upon this place before going to our son's football game and it was DELICIOUS! We shared the chicken kabob plate with salad and basmati rice. The chicken was juicy, fresh, and cooked to perfection. Armi (one of the owners) was the one that served us and he was wonderful too - passionate about high quality food and making sure we were taken care of. You have to try the masta mosser sauce that was served with their in house made bread! Soooo good! Such a great Friday night find!

    Yum

Is this an actual establishment or a food truck like on this post?

Dear Lady, this is an actual walk-in, order at the counter, sit down at one of the formica topped tables to enjoy your lunch/dinner. I have a bad back, don't like sitting in most restaurant chairs, but, if I remember correctly, their chairs were… Read more

Wow. That's all. This place is legit. The filet shish kabob…read morewas so tender and perfectly spiced. I could have eaten that all day. The chicken was juicy and mouthwatering deliciousness. The lamb was gamey, packed with flavor. We enjoyed every bite and can't wait to try this place out again. We ordered takeout, food was ready on time, service was great. Parking is a bit challenging since it's only street parking, but that's Montrose :P

The Seasoning Alley Mediterranean restaurant in Montrose…read more showed promise but landed somewhere in the middle. Here are some impressions from our visit earlier today. The restaurant is a casual, clean spot and has a welcoming environment. Service was attentive and friendly. Our salad was fresh and delicious and the meal portions were large and plentiful. Good hearty sized plates but low on taste and quality. Unfortunately, the pita was one of many low points. The pita arrived cold and slightly stiff, not warm and soft as we'd hoped. It lacked the toasty, chewy texture that makes pita so comforting and effective for scooping up dips and bites. Another low point was that our rice was barely warm, almost cold. Not good. The worst part of our meal had to be the hummus. It was almost frozen and tasted as if it was just scooped out of the freezer. Terribly disappointing. Our Chicken Kabob had a tender interior with a nicely charred exterior. The spices and marinade showed potential, but the overall flavor profile didn't quite soar beyond the ordinary. Wouldn't call it standout, yet it wasn't bad. It was just barely okay. The falafel tasted fresh, but the exterior could have used a bit more crispness. Interior was moist enough, with chickpea flavor present, though it didn't leave a lasting impression. Our overall impressions were that our meals were just barely okay for a casual dinner, but it didn't move into the "great" category. We were disappointed. We expected better quality. For improvement, heating the pita and rice to perfection and dialing in the falafel crust would elevate the overall experience. A touch more depth in the chicken kabob seasoning or a signature sauce could help distinguish the dishes. If you're in the mood for a low-key Mediterranean option with reliable service, this spot is worth a try. It's a safe bet for an okay meal, with good service and good size portions for a casual night out with friends or family. Considering their prices, for repeat visits, I'd hope to see more consistency across staples like the rice, pita and falafel, and a bolder finish on the kebabs to push the overall rating from "good but not great" to "really good." Pita and rice arrived cold. The Falafel could have been crisper. Chicken kabob flavor could be more distinct. The Hummus was horrible. Next time, I'll pass on this place. Cheers!
