Food is 10/10. This place is actually a butcher shop with a restaurant attached. Everything is fresh. Would recommend.

Every bite was outstanding definitely one of the best spots for authentic Indian and Nepali cuisine in the city!

This is a really amazing Nepalese / Indian option in the Salt Lake Area. Everything my wife and I…read morehad was excellent. First they give you a basket of what I believe is papadam, a lentil cracker, with three different sauces. One was mint based, one was a tamarind based sauce and the other was raita which is a yogurt based sauce. It was awesome! The mint sauce was my favorite by far but all their sauces were good. My wife ordered the tomato soup and it blew both of us away! It was really phenomenal. Such an amazing flavor. Complex in a way yet still a very comforting tomato soup. I got the 14 Peaks Special Chicken Curry. I ordered medium because I wanted my wife to be able to try some. Medium was too hot for her and a little less hot than I like, but it did have a noticeable spiciness that I enjoyed. I had originally planned to order the Chicken Saag and I sort of wish I had done that. I liked what I got but I really love Saag. Now I have to go back so that I can try their Saag. There are no losers here. My wife got the Chicken Sekuwa Shadako, this is on the appetizer menu. No worries, this fills the bill as a main dish just fine, lots of food. The server initially tried talking her down from that dish, but then relented saying they could do it. The concern was that this dish might take a longer time to cook. We were there at about 3pm, which I know is not prime time in the restaurant industry, so I got it. The end result was worth it! That dish was delicious! Perfectly cooked chicken with an amazing assortment of herbs and spices and some peanuts and cashews that my wife really appreciated. The flavors popped, hard! Overall service was great, the flavors were amazing and I have a new favorite for Indian / Nepalese food. So happy we had a chance to experience The 14 Peaks!

Inside the restaurant had very lovely, eye-catching decor. I was greeted and welcomed warmly immediately by what seemed to be the owner. Inside was somewhat busy for lunch but I was seated right away. When my order was taken, I planned on getting the same items as before, but my server was kind enough to suggest some new dishes to me. He recommended the paneer masala and garlic naan. Convinced me on the spot, and the flavors did NOT disappoint. I like my food spicy and had the paneer masala made very very hot. The gravy was perfect. The naan was fresh, crispy, airy, and paired nicely with the paneer masala. My order came with a side of rice, which was a nice alternative to the naan. The employees made their rounds often to make sure all customers were satisfied and enjoying. For dessert, I decided on warm gulab jamun. The order came with four, and was very yummy. Highly recommend if you're craving delicious Indian food in the area. I believe they also have other locations in nearby cities/towns.

We went in without huge expectations since the menu plays it pretty safe, but the Chicken Mumbai Masala genuinely impressed us--rich, flavorful, and easily better than the Tikka Masala. The Lamb Biryani was decent, though not particularly memorable. Garlic Naan was fine: soft and approachable, but missing that charred, tandoor-kissed flavor I love. Service was warm and friendly, and the owner personally stopped by to check on our experience--a nice touch. The ambiance is interesting too: warm, almost mountain-lodge vibes decked out with Indian cultural décor. Reasonable prices, a great location, and reliably good food. Mumbai House may not reinvent the wheel, but it's a dependable choice when the Indian food craving hits.
