    Hibachi Area

This is a pretty decent Japanese restaurant offers all-you-can-eat menu including sushi, sashimi, hibachi items, dim sum items, noodles and rice. They also have hibachi menu with chef cooking in front of you. However, for some reason, when we are there our table is a bit sticky. Other than that, the food is as expected, the wide-range of food selection is very good.

I highly recommend AYCE!! sushi was amazing! You can order through your phone, which is also a great idea because you don't have to wait for your server. Food was coming out fast and drinks were strong. Inside was cute. It's divided into two sides, which is nice. Hibachi on one side and then tables on the other side for all you can eat. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who loves sushi. They didn't have pork buns or the soup dumplings.

This is a huge restaurant! Half is for hibachi and half regular restaurant. It was uncomfortably warm to the point I asked the waitress and she said the air conditioning had not been working well. We had the all you can eat sushi and Japanese appetizers. You order from an app on your phone. You cannot over order or they will charge you - 1$ per piece of sushi or 15$ per pound for take out box. Food: Excellent / favorites - handmaid shrimp Shumai (steamed) very good, Kani Rangoon, sex on the beach sushi roll, kiss of fire sushi roll, tuna amazing roll, yellow tail appetizer Good - ponzu oyster, fried gyoza, seaweed salad, flaming tuna chips, fried shrimp shumai, mochi, spicy tuna roll, yellow tail scallion roll Wouldn't get again - fried oyster, pork soup dumplings (very bland), kalbi beef rib (dry) There was a lot more we didn't try. I would definitely come back and try other things! Value was awesome for AYCE for 33$

Excellent happy hour!! A group of us choose an assortment of maki and specialty rolls along with other appetizers for an early dinner. We loved the salmon roll, shrimp tempura roll and the angry dragon roll. Service was great, parking was easy. We will come back!!

Came here on a whim for lunch and it was great! They offer hibachi as well as all-you-can-eat sushi which is very cool. We didn't have enough time for AYCE so we just ordered a couple rolls to split. It seemed like they only had 1 server for the whole section so getting her attention was rather difficult but I don't blame her. The sushi was delicious and I would definitely come back!

Food: the AYCE was spectacular. I have my favorite AYCE sushi lunch, but here it's for dinner too. I went with friends but was so impressed, I plan on taking my family here too. Service: super fast, you order through an iPad and the food comes out within minutes. I will say, do not over order because they charge I think $15 per pound for food that is not eaten. Ambiance: so cute, a lot of people were here on dates.

I absolutely loved the all you can eat ordering system. Even though they only had two waitstaff for the whole restaurant, it worked relatively well. We had two tables of 6, so there were times when are AYCe order was mixed up but no harm no foul. I loved that ramune and yogurt drink were included. The selection included much more than sushi to include soup dumplings (they stuck to the paper so it would break everytime) and dim sum. They also validated parking so would definitely be back.

Kabuto is our family's favorite go-to spots for hibachi --whether we're celebrating something special or just coming because we feel like it. The experience is always fun, high-energy, and engaging, and the chefs do an amazing job keeping everyone entertained and full. My daughter absolutely loves it, which makes the experience even more special for our family. The food is consistently delicious, the atmosphere is lively, and the staff makes you feel welcome every time. Kabuto never disappoints and has become a place we truly look forward to visiting. Chef J is our favorite!

It was really popular that evening, so the three of got squished at the table meant for two, but we didn't mind. The menu is pretty extensive, offering ramen, udon, tonkatsu, rice bowls, grilled fish sets, and more. We ordered pretty quickly, but with how busy it was, it took a bit for the food to come out CHILEAN SEA BASS - 37 As I scanned through, my eyes immediately fell on the miso sea bass. Despite the price point, I knew I had to go for it because sea bass is hard to find around here. This set came with rice, house salad, miso soup, and cold tofu. The sides were pretty standard -- no compliments, but no complaints either. On the other hand, the sea bass was wonderful. Super creamy and soft, with a strong miso sweetness that packed so much umami upon each bite. I would definitely splurge on this set just for the sea bass. My friend got the ramen and didn't love it, so I'll probably avoid that during future visits. The katsu curry that the table next to us ordered looked and smelled amazing. Overall, food was delicious and homey. I'd definitely recommend!

Absolutely floored by the fatty tuna sushi roll. It is on the pricier side, but honestly, I don't think I even minded. We got the katsu and sashimi combo plus some rolls on the side. The katsu was delicious, and the sashimi was super fresh. The combo also came with the cutest little side dishes, really adorable presentation overall. The staff was also incredibly attentive about my friend's allergies (dairy and nuts). They kept checking in with us and even showed us the sauce ingredients to make sure everything was safe. One of the staff members called my friend "kawaii" after hearing her long list of allergies lol, and honestly, that made my day.

I usually order tonkotsu and am hesitant to try others since the broth makes all the difference but I ordered the shoyu ramen this time and it was delicious! Lighter than tonkotsu broth but still super flavorful. And the noodles had that good chew/mouth feel which makes all the difference. I also ordered the house black tea with boba and cheese foam which was also oishii! I appreciated that they had brewed tea options since often find milk tea to be too much with food. Sometimes places that do both boba and food nail one, but not the other but this place was great on both fronts! Service was quick and friendly as well.

The pork broth is standout, but I absolutely dream about the spider ramen. Named for the fried softshell on the top (which you can ask to swap for more shrimp), has a tom yum-like flavor. Creamy, spicy and slightly acidic, the broth could be poured on cardboard and I would eat it. Noodles are always perfect and the seafood is present, but not a huge portion - so you can focus on the broth. My only complaint? The lobster broth in the spider ramen dish is not listed as an option for the "make your own" bowl...which would allow me to perfectly customize it. I will regularly order the spider bowl in the meantime with no softshell, extra shrimp, and if I'm feeling down additional noodles and broth (allowing me to indulge for multiple meals) . Bubble tea is tasty - especially the rose milk tea. This place has a counter with a handful of seats and two tables for 4-6. After waiting for a table, we decided to mostly do takeout. We can order online. Would be great if they had a spot out front for takeout pickup as parking around the restaurant can be hard at times.

Every single dish we ordered was absolutely phenomenal. The dynamite shrimp was perfectly crispy with incredible flavor, the yuzu shrimp was fresh and refreshing, and the truffle mushrooms were rich, savory, and unforgettable. We also tried all the Wagyu cuts, and each one melted in our mouths like butter. You can truly taste the quality and care put into every bite. Even the passion fruit cocktail was outstanding -- perfectly balanced, refreshing, and beautifully made. What truly made this dining experience unforgettable, however, was our waiter, Juan. His service was beyond exceptional. Juan treated us like royalty from start to finish. He was attentive, knowledgeable, friendly, and made sure every detail of our evening was perfect. It is rare to experience service this genuine and professional. He went far above and beyond anything we expected and made us feel completely valued as guests. We were seated immediately upon arrival. The restaurant is located in the main shop area of Rockville Town Square. There is plenty of parking available with nearby garages and street parking. We decided to do the AYCE Classic Set, there is a 90 minute limit and you are handed an iPad to order your selections. There is a limit of items that you can add... if I recall it was 10-15ish? Then once you submit an order you have a 5 minute limit before you can order your next batch of items. We ordered so many items, some of our favorites outside of the BBQ meats were: - Spicy Tuna Tartare - Shishito Peppers - Garlic Cucumber - Kuro Squid Noodle The meats were all high quality with generous portions. The time limit and wait times between orders were reasonable, we all left super full with time to spare. My two toddlers ate for free, I do not recall the cutoff age, but they are 1 and 3 if that gives some perspective. The food was excellent and the service matched. Our server David was very attentive, checking on us multiple times to clear plates and see if we needed anything. The table space has limited space due to the grill in the middle, but he was on top of making sure we were comfortable and taken care of. I really appreciated the extra time he took with actual plate placement, nothing hot close to the toddlers and even calling out when placing a hot item down to make sure hands and arms were clear. Delicious food, great service and perfect for families or large groups, I will definitely be coming back in the future :)
