    Suimono soup and house salad
    Debby O.

I went for the hibachi option, I don't remember the name of my drink, but it gave exactly what it was supposed to. I really enjoyed the chef's sense of humor and cooking. The appetizer soup didn't really have any flavor. I really liked the dressing that they put on the house salad, it was very refreshing. I really enjoyed the fried rice and noodles, they had a very nice smoky garlicky flavor. I felt like the overall portion was less than I would've expected compared to other hibachi spots.

The place was huge and spacious. Very nice aesthetic. We have our server Maya who helped us throughout the process since it was our very first time eating there. She was an amazing server. Very friendly and very accommodating. She was very patient with all our requests and we received such great customer service. We were shown how to order through the qr code. Everything came quickly but some rolls came a bit later because it takes longer to make them. We also had one server who helped us serve our food and such. We had a wonderful time since we were celebrating 3 birthdays they gave them 3 wonderful ice cream with happy birthday on it. It was very special and the ladies sang to them. It was such a wonderful experience. We would surely go back because this was such a wonderful time. And i loved their Flaming tuna with chips it was so great i ordered 3 times! I loved everything!

This is a pretty decent Japanese restaurant offers all-you-can-eat menu including sushi, sashimi, hibachi items, dim sum items, noodles and rice. They also have hibachi menu with chef cooking in front of you. However, for some reason, when we are there our table is a bit sticky. Other than that, the food is as expected, the wide-range of food selection is very good.

This is a huge restaurant! Half is for hibachi and half regular restaurant. It was uncomfortably warm to the point I asked the waitress and she said the air conditioning had not been working well. We had the all you can eat sushi and Japanese appetizers. You order from an app on your phone. You cannot over order or they will charge you - 1$ per piece of sushi or 15$ per pound for take out box. Food: Excellent / favorites - handmaid shrimp Shumai (steamed) very good, Kani Rangoon, sex on the beach sushi roll, kiss of fire sushi roll, tuna amazing roll, yellow tail appetizer Good - ponzu oyster, fried gyoza, seaweed salad, flaming tuna chips, fried shrimp shumai, mochi, spicy tuna roll, yellow tail scallion roll Wouldn't get again - fried oyster, pork soup dumplings (very bland), kalbi beef rib (dry) There was a lot more we didn't try. I would definitely come back and try other things! Value was awesome for AYCE for 33$

I highly recommend AYCE!! sushi was amazing! You can order through your phone, which is also a great idea because you don't have to wait for your server. Food was coming out fast and drinks were strong. Inside was cute. It's divided into two sides, which is nice. Hibachi on one side and then tables on the other side for all you can eat. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who loves sushi. They didn't have pork buns or the soup dumplings.

Came here on a whim for lunch and it was great! They offer hibachi as well as all-you-can-eat sushi which is very cool. We didn't have enough time for AYCE so we just ordered a couple rolls to split. It seemed like they only had 1 server for the whole section so getting her attention was rather difficult but I don't blame her. The sushi was delicious and I would definitely come back!

Shrimp tempura roll and salmon poke tacos

Excellent happy hour!! A group of us choose an assortment of maki and specialty rolls along with other appetizers for an early dinner. We loved the salmon roll, shrimp tempura roll and the angry dragon roll. Service was great, parking was easy. We will come back!!

    Amanda S.

Food: the AYCE was spectacular. I have my favorite AYCE sushi lunch, but here it's for dinner too. I went with friends but was so impressed, I plan on taking my family here too. Service: super fast, you order through an iPad and the food comes out within minutes. I will say, do not over order because they charge I think $15 per pound for food that is not eaten. Ambiance: so cute, a lot of people were here on dates.

    Yan W.

I absolutely loved the all you can eat ordering system. Even though they only had two waitstaff for the whole restaurant, it worked relatively well. We had two tables of 6, so there were times when are AYCe order was mixed up but no harm no foul. I loved that ramune and yogurt drink were included. The selection included much more than sushi to include soup dumplings (they stuck to the paper so it would break everytime) and dim sum. They also validated parking so would definitely be back.

Went with my usual tonkotsu and I would say it's still my favorite on their menu. Not the best ramen I've had but pretty good for the price. I got the Tonkotsu Shoyu ramen and a sweet potato (sushi) roll. Child #1 got a vegetable roll and the vegetarian ramen (the only vegetarian option I think I saw for ramen). Overall not bad. Decent balance of ingredients in my ramen. I tried Child #1's soup and it was fine, though I will say whatever the mushrooms were (woodear, I think), they were fantastic, with a nice marinade and prepared so well. The rolls were fine. My sweet potato was clearly fresh-fried, so it was warm inside the rice, which was a bit surprising. On one hand, a bit crispier. On the other, hot sushi. Our waiter was attentive and the food came out relatively quickly. Prices were fair.

It was really popular that evening, so the three of got squished at the table meant for two, but we didn't mind. The menu is pretty extensive, offering ramen, udon, tonkatsu, rice bowls, grilled fish sets, and more. We ordered pretty quickly, but with how busy it was, it took a bit for the food to come out CHILEAN SEA BASS - 37 As I scanned through, my eyes immediately fell on the miso sea bass. Despite the price point, I knew I had to go for it because sea bass is hard to find around here. This set came with rice, house salad, miso soup, and cold tofu. The sides were pretty standard -- no compliments, but no complaints either. On the other hand, the sea bass was wonderful. Super creamy and soft, with a strong miso sweetness that packed so much umami upon each bite. I would definitely splurge on this set just for the sea bass. My friend got the ramen and didn't love it, so I'll probably avoid that during future visits. The katsu curry that the table next to us ordered looked and smelled amazing. Overall, food was delicious and homey. I'd definitely recommend!

The katsu was delicious, and the sashimi was super fresh. The combo also came with the cutest little side dishes, really adorable presentation overall. The staff was also incredibly attentive about my friend's allergies (dairy and nuts). They kept checking in with us and even showed us the sauce ingredients to make sure everything was safe. One of the staff members called my friend "kawaii" after hearing her long list of allergies lol, and honestly, that made my day.

After waiting a while, our waitress finally came over and took our order. We ordered an appetizer first while deciding on our entrees. A few minutes later, the exact same waitress returned and asked if we wanted to order any appetizers, apparently forgetting that we had already done so. I specifically asked whether the salmon in the Philly roll was fresh or smoked because I don't like smoked salmon. I was assured it was fresh. When it arrived, it was clearly smoked salmon. The bao buns were actually pretty good, although the lettuce was wilted and looked like it had been sitting around for a while. A different server eventually took our entrée order. Less than five minutes later, that same server came back and asked if we were ready to close out our check, despite the fact that we were still waiting for our food and had not received our entrees yet. When the food finally arrived, the ramen was disappointing. The noodles were undercooked and the broth was excessively salty. The katsu curry was the highlight of the meal and was genuinely delicious. Unfortunately, the miso soup that accompanied it was overloaded with dashi powder and tasted overwhelmingly fishy. Which made sense with the overpowering fish market smell upon entering the restaurant. To top it all off, when we were ready to leave, the server brought the credit card receipt for signature but forgot to bring a pen. Between the repeated service mistakes, incorrect menu information, lack of attention to the table, and inconsistent food quality, I'm genuinely surprised this restaurant has managed to stay in business. The fried lotus was surprisingly my favorite non meat dish. Our friend rice was served lukewarm (the consistency of rice was a bit uneven like older rice that was left out for a bit) and way too oily so we had to send it back. Had no issues with the meat and service - although it was a tad slow and the 10 minute cooldown between ordering was unexpected. Our server was great and kept checking in with us. A few items we ordered never made it out to us, but at that point we were too full to care. My main complaint was with one of the hosts. We finished our meal and thanked our waiter and made our way back to the parking garage. From behind, we heard a very loud "EXCUSE ME." We originally thought we had dropped something and someone was looking out for us, but was appalled when she followed us halfway across the street and said "you think you're just going to leave without paying for your mocktail?" That was hands down the rudest I've been treated by a customer service based establishment. I've worked in hospitality and know you should never accuse a customer of anything. To make matters worse, she got the wrong people - we never ordered a mocktail. Will likely not return to Gyuzo for a while and stick to other bbq places with better service.
