It was like, "Okay, you may detect notes of this and that" even though I would be detecting opening notes of "a grandma apple putting her sandalwood cigarettes out into a bar of Irish Spring" or "a leather lemon changing motor oil while eating linen popcorn in a savannah rain, with end notes of Lil' Debbie Cosmic Brownie" So, look for El-Aton, and tell him I sent you. He is quite the Con-nose-seur and he welcomes you all.

The buttons are critical because those are part of what makes a Balmain blazer Balmain... also no hanger. It was rolled into a flimsy plastic bag and shoved into a tiny shipping box. Not luxurious at all. i got sweaters before from an actual Balmain store and got Balmain buttons, Balmain canvas protector, Balmain hanger. not that i need all of those. I just need the spare big and small buttons for the blazer. Also fedex ground? Really? Cost cutting like crazy.

Their website does not do the selection in the store any justice - probably at least 60-70% larger - and you are better off visiting in person and placing yourself in the capable hands of the staff who will make sure you walk out significantly less Brooks Brothers/Jcrew-dorky than when you walked in. They will probably take umbrage with this, but we feel like the selection for the ladies has been more interesting - all the better, as the significant other should always be seen wearing beautiful things.

The dresses are super beautiful and well crafted, but there is only one of each - only one size of each - and it might not fit and may need to be tailored. It's also a little on the expensive side compared to what I found online and at Flying Solo. I tried on three options that were $1100, $1000, and $600. The sales associates were really sweet and helpful in helping me assemble the outfits the correct way and they were not pushy at all.

I would have preferred to try it on again in person but I could not fit in another NY trip, so they shipped it to me. It took 1 week to arrive because they used the slowest shipping option. After all the alterations, much of the threadwork and beading of the blouse was damaged, and now I have to find a local garment specialist to repair it in the week before my wedding. I spent over $6,000 on a beautiful designer lengha for my wedding ceremony and was expecting perfection from a store that advertises it's "designer experience". At the minimum I would hope to have my concerns taken seriously. They sent me these earrings in response, which I will be returning.
