    Iced Latte

One of my favourite coffee shops in White Rock! Interior is beautiful :) Highly recommend Iced Latte with medium dark roast.

We were in the area for lunch and decided to stop by here for coffee because I had an Entertainment Coupon. Apparently, the coupon was from the previous ownership. The baristas accepted the coupon regardless so we ordered a couple drinks. Great service on their part and I really appreciated their effort to accept the coupon when they could have easily refused to accept the coupon. The cafe is located in a newer condo/commercial development. Atmosphere is modern and spacious with plenty of seating. They use JJ beans.

Wow just wow! Authentic warm euro hospitality. Everything tastes like it's made in - house. Classic euro simplicity with all the right flavours prepared carefully and at a decent price point too! Starbucks wishes they could pull this off.

From the previous comments, I can see that they changed owners and is not what it used to be. Unfortunatley, this was my first time here so I can't compare it to how it used to be. I ordered their lunch special, which is half a sandwich and a bowl of soup. I got their "Grilled Three Cheese Sandwich" (brie, havarti, and cheddar cheese) and their "Tomato Basil Soup". When I got my dish, I was pretty excited to dig in as it looked very appetizing; however, my excitement level was shot down fairly quickly. The sandwich was cold, the cheese wasn't fully melted inside... Tasted like I just had cheese with bread but with fancy cheese. I hoped the soup to compensate for the sandwich, but oh boy.. The soup was so salty! But the people who work here (I'm assuming it's the owners) are so nice and genuine. I will definitely be back for coffee and a place to study for sure!

I stumbled upon this gem and I'm hooked!!! The coffee is amazing (and hello comes in compostable cups and lids, finally a shop that understand the need to minimize their footprint). I LOVE their flat whites. The coffee taste really comes out. The danishes are to die for and the egg sandwich looks like actually food (thank you!!!). I love popping in here in the morning before work, is generally dead and I get served right away!

Just had an amazing experience! They do drip coffee and while I was looking at their extensive merchandises around drip coffee, Chris, who was making my chai latte started chatting to me and letting me know what his preferences were then started to ask me what I was looking for. I let him know I was interested in the drip coffee for when camping when there was no electricity. He suggested the Kalita plastic drip that fits over your cup. Perfect for camping! He was so helpful and friendly. He even added a box of filters to my purchase for free! He also recommended that I try coco in my chai latte next time as it adds a great flavour to it. Had the Montreal meat sandwich as well, very tasty. Really happy that there is a great coffee shop like this in Surrey where I live, which you usually only get downtown.

The best cafe in the lower mainland. The food is fantastic, and the coffee is exceptional. I highly recommend this cafe!

They do a high tea and you need to make reservation for that. The tea sets are very pretty and I liked how each one is different. The table next to us had the tea and the food looked good. My friend from NYC was visiting and wanted a non chain Canadian brunch place. He was in the South Surrey area and this place was nearby. People in White Rock and South Surrey are lucky to have this in their backyard. It has a La Foret vibe but without the noise. Food wise, I think this place has more options and alcohol. The desserts look good but I always forget about it as the showcase is away from the seating area. The brunch food is really good. I like the shakshouka which I hardly see on the menu in many places here. The sauce is just a tad spicy, eggs perfectly poached and toast is yummy. The chicken French toast looks very pretty with the fruits and whipped cream on it. Delicious too. My friend likes the breakfast poutine though the eggs looked a bit sad. I also tried the bulgogi beef sandwich which is tasty too. I had the flat white on a previous visit and it was not that great. The latte is much better. I like the white chocolate macadamia latte. Plenty of parking and the service is good here. I will come back again if I'm in the area.

Not sure why they have poor ratings…read more I stepped in and it is the most spacious restaurant/cafe in town with high ceiling, stone wall and lots of plants. It's so calming and welcoming with artist painting displayed on the wall. I had a group of 6 people (always large group for me) and Servers were very responsive and attentive to our table quickly. I have to say the menu has way too many choices and combo that Gordan Ramsey would definitely ask them to scale back in order to eliminate confusion or mistakes. Despite the case, all our orders were made correctly. Dishes were served super fast and IG photogenic. They even have high tea but you need to reserve your table 2 days ahead. FYI, all their desserts are gear towards the Asian style cakes which is very light, not too sweet but favourable. Definitely unique for this area. Will definitely go back again.

The cafe is a replica of a railway caboose and the kids could relate to the dining car experience. The covered patio is great to sit and munch on food, but on a sunny day, I would however recommend just ordering take out and sitting on the picnic tables right beside the cafe on a sunny day. We ordered a few beverages (Chai Latte, Americano & Maharaja Express) and snack items (ham sandwich & scone) - and everything was reasonably priced and served quickly. The scone was really good though, like better than many of the scones around. We imagined this being a quick coffee stop on the way but ending up spending a good 30mins soaking the views. The pit stop was worth every minute!

And yes, it really is inside a bright red caboose! The whole space is cozy in the best way, with a little seating indoors and a bit more outside, perfect for soaking in the quirky charm. The menu is huge and everything on it seems to call your name, breakfast all day, tons of sandwiches, muffins, smoothies... seriously, so much to love here. On this visit we had the falafel and the Reuben, and both were delicious. Fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Between the unique setting and the great food, this spot is such a fun little surprise. Definitely worth a visit (or two... or three!).
