This was a close walk from our accommodation and it did not disappoint. My mom and I were immediately greeted and given some time to choose what we wanted for coffee and food. I got a fall special that was better than any pumpkin spice drink from Starbucks or Dunkin and avocado toast. My mom got an iced Americano and a bacon, egg and cheese on a croissant. Our food and drinks were exceptional! The atmosphere was laid back and relaxed with music that is not loud. A wonderful spot to get some work done as well in their booths, at a table or at the counter looking out the window people watching. If/when I make it back to Salem/Beverly, I will make it a point to stop back in! Highly recommend. read more

My first time coming to this cafe was a great time. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming with lots of nice seating. The staff is friendly and excellent at what they do. They can accommodate reusable containers you bring in!! And the menu has a wide selection, which seems to be widening further. When I was there I was offered a free test drink to try! I ended up ordering a matcha latte, and perhaps it was my mistake because I was told it was sweet.. however I found it to be too sweet for my taste (being a lover of lightly sweetened matcha). Overall I enjoyed my time here, but I don't think it will be my go to place on Beverly, I'm still on the hunt for something better. read more

Very good. Om is wonderful and we have always loved the Danvers location. It is a big loud in there sometimes, and the baked goods can be pricey BUT the coffees, lates, cappuccinos all are wonderful. There is a lot of competition in downtown Beverly for coffee and kaffmandu can hold its own I guess. I do prefer Atomic, and their menu that they make in house. That is why I marked them a 4. I want them to succeed, and if Atomic is filled I'd go here in a minute. read more

decided to go on a rainy wednesday morning the place is so cute inside! definitely a place with plenty of space to sit if you don't want your coffee to go. the workers are very patient (i myself am extremely indecisive) and kind. breakfast sandwich was made fresh. bacon was crispy. wish i added a green of some sort to this it would've topped it off coffee was good they have milk substitutes. i like my coffee hot+strong. it didn't disappoint! i am not a beverly resident but if you are, this place is a must!! read more

We've been coming here regularly for coffee and breakfast so I thought it was time to leave a review! The staff are not only friendly and helpful but genuinely engaging with customers. There's always someone laughing about something, which gives the place a perpetually cheery atmosphere. The owner, Om, and his family are always trying to get to know everyone who comes through, testing new menu ideas, or giving fun nicknames out. I'm an espresso person, myself, but the brewed coffee here is just as good as the pulled. Especially with an old fashioned donut to dip in it. The food is simple and tasty. That's where you'll experience the kind of service rarely encountered, but always guaranteed to make you smile. Whether behind the espresso machine or restocking the fridge, Om calls out to welcome every guest, calling regulars out by name. When your coffee is up, he'll again call out to you personally and send you off with well wishes for the day. What more can you ask for to start your day? This place is great! I actually didn't realize it was here until I was at the Cabot all weekend and searched local coffee places on my map. I prefer it to Atomic Cafe and What's Brewing, that are both within a block or two. So many exciting latte flavors to choose from. They open at 7am on sunday but when I approached the front door at 6:30am, the guy unlocked it and invited me in. Incredible selection of coffee and breakfast/lunch food. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, everything you'd expect from a little mom and pop coffee shop. The owners and the staff are so pleasant, informed and accommodating. I asked so many questions and tried so many flavors. They even explained to me how to make my own great coffee at home because I asked. The coffee is delicious and smooth and rich. It's amazing and I used to add so much cream and flavor to my watered down Dunks coffee but this coffee I could drink black. I HIIGHLY RECOMMEND KAFFMANDU! My "Kaffmandu journey" actually started a couple of weeks ago. I had an appointment at MGH Danvers and, while walking by the main floor coffee shop, I was amazed by the beauty of their food display cases. The coffee shop had never looked so amazing any time I had walked by before, so I had to stop on my way out. I commented to the friendly young man working behind the counter about the great improvement in how everything looked since the last time I had been there, and then went to my car (still careful due to covid) to enjoy my delicious berry muffin. Flash-forward a couple of weeks and I learn of a new coffee shop in Beverly and, upon looking it up online, learn that the same owner now runs the coffee shop in Danvers MGH. So, when I had to make a trip to the Beverly Library today, I decided to pop in and check it out - well that, and the fact the "Razzle Dazzle Mocha" I had seen on their online menu had been calling my name. It did not disappoint. The staff was friendly, and I had the pleasure of meeting Om (the owner) and his wife (who, he said, was in charge of the Danvers MGH location). Om was welcoming everyone who walked in the door but also took the time to talk to me personally when I wanted to express my compliments on their Danvers MGH location. Although I don't make it to downtown Beverly as often as I would like, I will be making it a point to stop by Kaffmandu when I do! Newest addition to the variety of coffee shops in and around town. Since it opened a couple of months ago, I have been several times and have had great experiences. I've been a fan of the Danvers location for years and was thrilled when I noticed they had opened a new cafe in downtown Beverly. What I love is their flavors - all brews (no syrups) and they have a lot of them to pick from. My two favorites are pistachio and chocolate raspberry. If you buy one of the lattes and drinks on the board then they add syrups but the long list of flavors as normal hot or iced coffees are always brewed, no syrup added. Staff is always friendly and very knowledgeable about the products. They have a huge variety of bakery goods. All looked delicious but I'm being good so had to avoid. Prices are great for the quality of the coffee. read more

Right off the bat, the amount of flavors they have on the menu is mind-boggling!! If you love coffee, espresso or any flavored coffee drink, you will love this place. The coffee is great but the food is disappointing. I brought 4 friends in around 9:00 this morning to meet for coffee, and purchased an assortment of baked goods to share (raspberry square, chocolate twist, lemon square, almond muffin, berry-lemon pasty). All were VERY stale and quite dry, obviously not made today. In retrospect, I should have returned everything, but I was embarrassed because I was in front of friends, and I was the one who suggested the location. Nothing got eaten much and nobody wanted to take home the leftovers. Sorry Kaffmandu but you are supposed to throw away (or donate) unsold food and start fresh the next day. 5 customers lost this morning. read more

Beverly finally has amazing coffee! My favorite is the Americano and my husband always get the cold brew (with an extra shot thanks to Om's recommendation!). Om and his staff are very welcoming.
