This review is mainly for the monthly dental cleaning services offered. They suggested that I bring my dog in before paying for a appointment and I brought my dog in about a month before for an evaluation to make sure he was a good for a non-anesthesia cleaning, which I really appreciated since appointments are no refundable. The actual cleaning went great. His teeth looked noticeably better right after, and I could tell they did a great job. The vet team was friendly, patient, and explained the entire process. They let me know he had a couple of loose teeth and recommended that his next cleaning should be done at a vet where extractions can be done. Pricing was also very reasonable compared to other places I looked into. Overall, a great option for maintenance cleanings if your dog is a good candidate, and I'll definitely be coming back with my other dog. read more

Changing my review to 1 star due to a poor experience I just had. There was a misunderstanding about the vet clinic/teeth cleaning on my end as they had taken my dogs just walk in before and I didn't realize a. Appointment was required. I looked online and saw a clinic and came with my dogs. They told me I had to have an appointment and also told me I was the third family they had turned away thus far and the clinic had only just started. I was disappointed but they were apologetic. We went to the cashier to schedule and she gave me attitude and was apathetic and unhelpful. To the point where we just walked out without the appointment. I was disappointed but ready to make my appointment but honestly the girl behind the register for this store turned my disappointment into being upset. I used to love coming here-the employees were awesome hence my previous positive review- but I will no longer be coming to this store or bringing my dogs for services. It is more on the expensive side, but I think it is worth it if my pet is eating great QUALITY food! I don't buy from petsmart or petco anymore. I have a Pomeranian and he has had a big hair loss problem over the past year. He was dealing with Post Clipping Alopecia! His loss of hair started after we took him to a groomer in town over a year ago and they shaved him without my permission!!! Ever since 2 months ago, he has started eating Stella and Chewy's raw frozen food on top of giving him some omega 3 oil his hair has grown back a lot! Petco/petsmart only have freeze dried, they don't have the ones in the fridges like this place. The staff here is super friendly! They always greet you when you come in. If I'm standing in a aisle they will come ask if I need assistance. I come here because they sell Stella and Chewy's raw dinner patty's. My dogs love this new food item versus raw kibble. They have a lot of chew sticks. I usually pick a beef one. I also had my dogs teeth cleaned at this location where a veterinarian and a team come and clean teeth and shots etc. For both of my dogs had their teeth cleaned and they came out super white and clean ! I wanted to give a big thank you to the awesome employees who went the extra mile to help me. After leaving my vet who was out of my Choc labs special diet dog food I went in there trying to find a suitable dry dog food that would work with giving Whiskey diarrhea. I have tried numerous expensive dry kibble and they all cause him to have diarrhea at night in his crate. We were forced to give him a very very expensive dry prescription kibble with specific ingredients. I took the actual dog food package from my vet and the young lady pulled several brand which were similar and took the time to find one with the same ingredients. It's been a week and my pup seems so being so well and no diarrhea. Looks like we found a new kibble with the help of your awesome crew. This location is our local kahoots.... today, I called to ask for help about an injured bird that flew into my window that needed some attention. I called to see if they knew any resources available for bird wildlife rescue, where I could take the injured bird. I like to still call and talk to people for recommendations instead of google, and I could have called our vet... but I knew Kahoots would help... and they did. They assisted me with the name of the closest local rescue. When I called the rescue, I was able to talk to a head guy over there, and he further assisted me. I've been coming to kahoots since I got my kitten a year ago. all the workers are so kind and helpful! I've recently adopted a pup and enrolled her in training at this location with Michelle. OH MY GOODNESS, Michelle is the BEST! She's SO sweet & invested in my pup! She explains everything we're doing in great detail, provides emails and hand outs with owner homework and gives tips for training certain behaviors i worry about (my pup likes to jump on me). My pup just got done with 5 weeks of basic training & I signed her up for intermediate+advanced before basic was even done! This review is actually based on my experience with the sales staff. After not having had a pup in almost a decade, I came in here to find out about the latest and greatest on puppy food. After roaming up and down the aisles, quietly reading the nutritional labels on my own, I was helped by one of the two employees. We then had a brief conversation where I provided the breed and age of my pup and the budget I was working with. I made my purchase based off of her recommendation but at checkout, it turns out that her recommendation was actually unfit for my pup; based solely on the breed and breed size. Thankfully the manager was the one who was ringing me up and helped to correct the issue. The manager then questioned the employee's recommendation in front of me and the employee actually tried to tack the blame onto me. Not sure how you could misunderstand the data points I provided though (i.e. breed and age). Oh well. Taking my money elsewhere. read more

They had warned us that some pups have anxiety issues, but I saw Zelda's face on their website I had to have her. When my Husband and I went to Kahoots to stock up on everything we needed to bring Zelda home, Stephanie and Kerrie helped us and they were amazing. They helped us pick everything from food and toys to crates and gave us advice to help with any anxiety Zelda might have. Turns out, I was worried over nothing and Zelda is a perfectly well-adjusted dog who loves every person, dog, and cat she meets.
