Came here with my book club. The space is open and there's a lot of room. They have an upstairs area which looks cool but says it's private. The menu seemed a bit limited to me; they had a seasonal menu which looked ok. They have a ton of pastries displayed that look great. The barista let me know that my tea comes with a refill. There's metered parking along the street but if you're willing to walk a bit there's non metered spots (5min walk).
This is such a fun coffee shop / bar! It is so big and has plenty of space for studying and hanging out. The coffee I had was delicious and I loved all of the flavor options. They also had a delicious looking special menu that is seasonal. They have lots of fun activities for the community. Definitely give this place a try if you are in the area. Because it is downtown, you will have to find parking close by as there is no designated parking lot for the shop.
Phoenix, Nov, 2025. We had been exploring Roosevelt Row, and were looking for a place to grab a quick, informal lunch. We wandered into Kahvi, and found that they offer a food menu from 8:00 am - 3 pm. Ordering is done at the front register where the menu is on the wall. My husband ordered a tuna salad sandwich ($8), which is served on your choice of croissant, whole wheat or sourdough bread with lettuce, tomato, and pickle. He opted for the whole wheat. He was surprised, and a bit disappointed, that the sandwich was served open-faced without that fact having been indicated on the menu. I ordered the Turkey Supreme Sandwich ($11) on sourdough, which featured sliced turkey breast, Swiss cheese, avocado, lettuce and tomato. In both cases, the fillings were tasty and the bread was nicely toasted. Upgrades would be for the restaurant to use more nutritious romaine rather than iceberg lettuce, and to also provide a side dish. The sitting area is huge and industrial but still inviting, with a combination of long tables, couches, and chairs. Quite a few patrons were studying or working on their computers while drinking coffee. We didn't have much interaction with staff -- only with the young woman who efficiently took our order at the front. The restroom had cool artwork on the walls.
They rotate their specialty drinks based on the season. The baristas are friendly. The inside of the coffee shop is big and has many places to sit and work or chat, including comfy couches. Parking can be tough as the street parking is limited and metered (you can pay via an app or credit card).
WFH girlies, add this one to the rotation. Plenty of tables, plugs within reach, and not a soul fighting me for space at 11am. Avo toast with a side of bacon = perfection. Real avocado, none of that sad green paste situation. Vanilla latte hit the spot and now I want to work my way through their specials menu. Oh and did I mention there's a bar inside? Coffee, cocktails, spreadsheets... choose your fighter.
Super wide and open concept coffee shop. Very industrialized interior. The barista in the front very nice and sweet. Coffee on the other hand is very mid. This is the type of place to that you go for the aesthetic then the actual quality of coffee. It is in a very lively neighborhood.
What a cute spot! I wasn't expecting it to be so big on the inside, and I was shocked! The coffee I got was really good, and the server was super sweet. I definitely will come back!
Ordered: 16oz Iced Latte (~$6) with Rose syrup (75¢) & Oat milk (75¢) Aya's take: We stopped by around 7am for a quick caffeine run since we had a long day ahead of us. Glad Kahvi was open since other cafes in the area don't open till later. My Iced Latte was creamy, lightly sweet, and pretty strong. They have a long list of syrups and I was excited to see Rose on there! My only complaint is I couldn't taste it whatsoever. Not in a single sip. It tasted like there was added sweetness (maybe vanilla?) but definitely not rose. I was looking for that floral flavor in every sip but it was simply not there. Decent try!
The coffee was not great unfortunately. I was hoping it would make up for the experience but no. The service was lacking immensely. Not a hello, not a welcome when we walked in. We were met with blank stares. Eventually someone walked up and took our order. It is unfortunate because the inside was beautiful. Will not be returning since there are so many other coffee shops in this area I will happily take my business elsewhere.
I came back and had their French toast & a vanilla iced latte - and I had a much better experience! The space itself doesn't change much over time but it is very open and there's plenty of seating. It's a good place to sit down, catch up with friends, or to parallel work -- just be prepared to be surrounded by / sitting next to strangers
I love the aesthetic at Kahvi and it's a great spot to hang out or work! There's a bunch of long tables as well as some couches and bar seating. They have a big projector that is always playing something random and there's a lot of artwork on the walls! The prices are good and I got a cold brew on this visit and it was very smooth. The staff is friendly and fast. The only challenge is finding street parking nearby.

Super relaxed, open air cafe in downtown, with the best espresso martinis that ever lived?? I have had a lot of varieties of espresso martinis and this one has gotta be the most unique. Was in Phoenix for the weekend and wanted to grab a matcha before I left. Stopped by Kahvi and I loved it!! The workers were very friendly and helpful. The space is huge with tons of room to study. There is free wifi available too. Prices aren't cheap, but what can you do. Definitely would try again if I come back! read more

lady taking my order was nice howver when trying to scan my birthday reward she said they didn't have scanner? and when I entered my ℹ didn't discounted the $5 promised? Mainly the thing it was NOT right it was that they charged me without advising me that WILL NoT honored OR even manually take my discount off. And candidly they both said next time WHAT the Fudge?? I drove just to feel special.... It won't be next time. As much as like to support small businesses. Small business need to put things together there are so many good place with unless they don't care of you do then do not Complain when going OOB Bad taste after all. read more

Chic and comfy place. Coffee shop on one side, bar in the center, large projector on a curved wall. Love the creative concept. Can shop next door while you sip on delicious coffee. I love this lovely coffee shop! The baristas are very friendly - trying to make personal conversation with each person. Tons of seating. I didn't try their food. The Spanish latte was delicious. This coffee shop was a place I was looking to work at while from out of town. There is plenty of seating for working however the one downside is there isn't very many outlets, I was only able to find one. The whole place has an artsy vibe but good for getting work done. The coffee is good and I ended up getting a bacon egg and cheese bagel that was great! read more
Nice coffee shop to stop at if you are exploring the Roosevelt Row area. Kahvi Coffee is located inside the event venue monOrchid. I came here during a First Friday art walk and grabbed a cup of coffee. Kahvi Coffee serves coffee drinks, wine, and cocktails. Food includes some breakfast items and pastries. My coffee was smooth and it was nice to have a place to step into after walking around the busy First Friday art walk. Kahvi Coffee and Cafe has a nice relaxed atmosphere with plenty of seating. Grab a drink and check out some local art in the surrounding area. read more

This place is gorgeous and spacious inside. Large open spaces and a mix of couches, high tops and picnic bench seating clusters. I would give 5 stars if they had some vegan pastries but they do not. They had 3 vegan items on the menu but I feel they can do better. That being said, the avocado toast gave me all the feels. I love red onions and they piled them on. You do have to ask for no cheese to make it vegan. It is so fresh and flavorful. The bread was crispy and chewy and tasted freshly baked. The avocado was ripe and creamy and delicious. Everything about it was tasty. Large portion as well! I would like to return to try more of the vegan options on the menu but I think I'm gonna need more of the avocado toast first :) Service was good. Definitely recommend but it will be nice to see them expand their vegan options! read more

Great stop today while on a day adventure Downtown showing some out of town friends all the good food and amazing art. I used to come in sometimes when this was a precious coffee spot, but Kahvi has really improved it and it is such an amazing vibe! Great seating and bar area that just invites you in and makes you want to hang out forever. Cold brews are my fave so of course that's what I need to try every where. My friend picked up one of the last chocolate croissants they had and said it was delicious! Service was great and makes me happy to spend money in places like this. Great art to view as well. I loved how expansive this cafe is! So many options for sitting either at a small table, couch, or picnic style tables- very nice for social distancing while still enjoying a drink inside. Popular among students as a study spot, and there were also people chilling with their cute dogs. Really awesome place. I'm trying as many coffee shops I can in the Phoenix area and was really happy with my visit here. There was a bit of a line but it went pretty fast! I got a chai with almond milk and my drink was ready after just a couple minutes which was good! This place is big. I liked the projection they had on the wall and the bar area was really cool. They had a yoga class going on too which I will have to do sometime. My chai was good, could've used a little more spice but otherwise I liked it. Would love to come back here. read more

10/10 all around!! Came on a Sunday morning for breakfast for the first time. It was busy with many people inside and a line (which was a good sign to us) that moved quickly. We ordered two of their seasonal coffees, iced pumpkin dirty chai latte and cinnamon French toast latte..... are you kidding?!? They were so delicious I want to come back every day to get these. I've been here many times. There's such a nice vibe and is so cool looking. Art hangs on the walls. Comfortable seating and a great place to hang with friends or a good book. Coffee is delish and they don't charge for milk! That's a bingo. The baked goods and lite bites look delish too. My only complaint is that there's no outside seating. Easily one of my favorite coffee spots in downtown Phoenix. It's a huge space with tons of seats and even an art installation in the back. Their brown sugar matcha is my current obsession but their chai is good as well. Khavi always has events whether it's monthly drag shows or weekly yoga. This is a great spot to hang out with friends or chill and get work done. All is all the drinks are good, the staff is great and the atmosphere is peaceful. read more
A great place to study and get some work done. The decor inside is artsy and filled with faux plants and string lights. It has a home feel with light music playing in the background. I asked the waitress what are their most popular unique coffees and she pointed to the framed menus that had seasonal drinks. I ordered a Hazelnut white mocha latte iced, half sweet. The coffee was high quality and had the perfect blend of hazelnut and white mocha- perfectly balanced. I didn't order food since I already ate lunch, but I could see people spending the entire day here because it is huge inside. Went to Kahvi for an early morning yoga flow followed by coffee. The art gallery was transformed into a yoga studio. The class was super fun and challenging. As the instructor said-if you know it, flow it. I never got it and the moves appeared to be foreign, but I was having a good time and crowned myself the unofficial chattaranga champion. The Tulum inspired coffee shop is unique and the Saturday morning vibe is right. I ordered a coffee which was absolutely delicious. Unfortunately they didn't honor the coffee which was supposed to be included with the class. We received an "antioxidant" shot instead which I am guessing is just organge juice. I'd love to come back soon and read. I left Kahvi stress free and feeling nice. read more

This is such a gem! Stumble upon this while exploring the street. This Espresso Tonic caught my attention. I definitely wondered what's in it. I was told that is fever tree tonic with a shot of espresso and some lemon. This is definitely the most interesting combo and refreshing drink I've ever had! Definitely give it a try if you're here. This space is really unique. While the coffee bar is up front, there's also an art space and design offices upstairs. They also do offer yoga classes as well. read more

Such a great space! Places like this make me wish I lived in downtown Phoenix. A feeling of community. Great selection of pastries. I tried the mixed berry scone and it was moist. I had scones that have the consistency of a brick. This one was perfection. I ordered the basic black coffee which was fine (though seemed to make some time to make). This place is best enjoyed when you have time to sit and linger. Not a grab and go. Lovely background music. Hopping by 9am on a Saturday. Dog friendly which contributed to the ambiance. Incredibly delightful find in the middle of Roosevelt Row. I've been looking for a coffee shop that combines quality coffee, inspired decor, friendly service, and enough space to let the creative juices flow. Looks like I've found my spot. The coffee (mocha) was delicious - had the right texture, temperature, and flavor. Regretfully I missed asking about the source. The atmosphere was buzzing but not noisy; the staff was attentive in clearing out used wares and briefly chatted with guests when they could. There's a ton of ample seating - from comfy chairs to recline in to tables for the 1:1 chat (plenty of dates I observed ) as well as larger tables for the studious visitor. And yes, the wifi was free (you had to login with an email for some strange reason, but that was a small price to pay) Point of delight- the stunning curved wall doubling as a screen with a projector playing travel videos. Another unique surprise was a small yoga class quietly being held in a corner. Never seen that before. Bravo. Downside? Not that many sockets available, but the ample space and trendy decor more than made up for it. Highly recommended. read more
