He cancelled my wedding 3 days before and never got any refund. He's a scam artist and not only has left many people without video on their wedding but also steals money from them. Brian Wilmott should be shut down. I also believe that the most recent review posted by Cassidy is fraudulent and posted by someone in on the scam.

Brian reached out to us after finding our wedding website online, saying that he was already in the area for another wedding and would offer us a videography package with a discount. We couldn't find any reviews from the past few years online, but he was very insistent, even meeting us online for a videocall. He wanted us to pay everything upfront, but after a bit of back and forth he agreed to break down the payment tied to his services. However his retainer fee was attached to a clause that would protect him in case of illness. After going silent for 6 months, we had to chase him multiple types the two weeks before the wedding and the only thing we got was that he was "busy" but all was "ok". Of course he doesn't show up. At that moment we checked, and he had blocked us on instagram. We then get a message the next day from his mail, but signed by "Ashley", his friend, stating that he is sick, in-and-out of the hospital and he couldn't make it. Supposedly there was an email that should have been sent on the weekend before to all his clients canceling services for the summer. Of course, this doesn't track with his email just a few days before saying that he was busy but would be ready to film our wedding. I am quite certain he his running this as a scam with multiple people at the same time, targeting couples with wedding websites and reaching out to them with very aggressive sales tactics, and offering discounted packages. He portrays himself online as real business, but will not deliver! If you are approached for any service related to Brian Willmott, please ignore him, and save your self the pain of having your special day ruined.

The abundance…read moreof politically charged signs and stickers adorning the windows and front door suggested to me that my business wouldn't be appreciated, so I tried to find Top T's -- which seems to have closed since I last got T-shirts, and I tried to work with Monarch -- which seems to have closed since the Pandemic. I ended up at Spectra Color and was worried my low quantities would be too small of an order for Mark. To my surprise Mark was happy to see me, immediately stopping whatever he was working on and sharing pricing information and additional knowledge about T-shirt and Sweatshirt fabrics and quality. That gave me a head-start and I left to brainstorm for a couple weeks. I came back with samples of art from flyers and a couple wild ideas, plus exact quantities for an order. Mark rolled with the changes in my specifications and even helped me clean up my previous designs so they would look cleaner on the new products. With all those demands and details, I was nervous about telling him I needed the garments in a month. Mark said he could easily get them done in two weeks -- and ended up taking some vacation time off and still delivering my order only ten days later! That boosted my confidence in Mark's abilities, so I returned a couple weeks later to ask if he could blow up my design and put it on a weird banner I had been thinking about. Since he had already improved my original graphics format, enlarging it was easy for him. Mark listened to my ideas, suggested some variations on my ideas, and even provided some better alternatives for mounting the resulting banner securely. Two weeks later (well, probably only ten days, but I didn't return to pick up the results for two weeks) Mark had produced a banner that was better than I had imagined, plus it cost less than the shirts! I'm so glad I found Spectra-Color! Mark was extremely patient in working with me, not just listening to my ideas and fulfiling my order, but collaborating with me when my ideas were vague and helping me to design and deliver fantastic results and high quality products. Spectra-Color may be one of a dwindling number of custom print shops in Simi Valley. His work is top-notch and, from now on, I refuse to take my print jobs to anyone else!
