Great experience. I needed something copied from my email, went to this FedEx location. I found Amy, staff member, very helpful. She was able to assist me with the copy I needed. She suggested if I was able to pull my email up on my cell phone, I can send it directly to their printer. However, that did not work, maybe the printer was down. She suggested to send it to the store email, that worked. I paid for my copy and she thanked me for coming in and I thanked her for her help. read more

I stopped by this FedEx Office location to drop off a package to be shipped out. I already paid for the label ahead of time to speed up the process. I found parking easily in the front beause I came in the morning but this office is in a big plaza so you'll find a parking spot here. The store is not that big but it works for the locations. I only spent like at most 5 minutes in the store because I walked in, went straight to the counter, the worker scanned the barcode and give me my receipt. They have stuff you can buy from the store if needed but I think it's cheaper elsewhere. read more

I will be contacting corporate as well, I have been bringing my business to FedEx for years and am throughly offended by this location, especially the worker there by the name of Vanessa. Before being able to even begin processing my order I left this facility due to the obvious bother I was creating for this particular employee by bringing my business there. Without saying a word, she had said enough through her attitude and dismissive responses. I am not here to slander and will not elaborate further, but if I was someone who was not familiar with the shipping process looking for help, I would have felt scolded and like a nuisance. For people who do not ship often, go online-create an account - fill the information out and use this place for a drop off location. Having an account will help save a few bucks especially if you are shipping larger items and will save you the experience. Recently I finished a book I had written. I wanted to print out a couple hard copies and Fedex one of them to my parents before Christmas. After entering this Fedex Office I was pleasantly greeted by the friendly employees. They were eager to help, and very educated as to their product offerings and prices. Walked in and asked if I can print a label from fedex.com Sales name Martin told me to use the rental computer. Logged in paid for rental computer to print one piece of label that cost me $5.00!!! To print?? Finally I asked to get help because the label was not printing. He came tested the printer??...no apologies with a face attitude and since he saw my frustration he finally printed the label by me forwarding the email fedex label! Talk about service?? DO NOT GO HERE. They try to scam you to purchase new boxes and their packaging, saying yours isn't "good enough." This location on Tapo Canyon in Simi Valley, CA (location JSNK based on the receipt) needs serious help. I have not complained in the months I have been here to see if things will ever change, but it doesn't. My complaint is how Shane, one of the employees, has pushed open EVERY SINGLE package I have ever tried to mail and offered to "sell me" extra packaging. (Check out this location's Yelp reviews, as they talk about the SAME THING that I have experienced here multiple times.) In the past, I have purchased a new box, since the one I had wasn't "good enough" to him yet was shipped TO ME in the SAME EXACT box, and sometimes I have said no and driven across the street to the local grocery store, picked up their ads, stuffed more in the box, and brought it back. Today, I PUSHED the seal on the box before I brought it in as a test. I should have taken a video of it because it was fine. Shane was helping another customer, so he had me leave it on the counter. I had some printing work to do, so I did that while I waited for a receipt. He tells me there's not enough packaging (big surprise since this is his response EVERY SINGLE TIME) and pushed his FIST through the top of my box, which is FILLED to 1/4" of the top with the sturdy styrofoam that it CAME with! He asks me what I'm shipping and asks if he can guess why (he asked, "was it damaged?" obviously trying to prove that there was something wrong with the packaging it was sent to me in). I was simply returning a WRONG ITEM I was sent. I take the box back, go to my trunk where I still have grocery ads from all the other times the worker tells me it's not "good enough." I stuff so much in that tiny space and bring it back. He then asks if I have more because it's still not good enough. This is when I asked why is it that every time I get you, you have a problem with the packaging and try to sell me your supplies/box, etc. The manager then decided to chime in, saying it's "corporate policy" and said it comes out of his "payroll" if a box is damaged (I find this very hard to believe). When I asked why is it that I go to other FedEx locations and have NEVER HAD THIS PROBLEM. His excuse: "they're not following policy." When I asked what he would have done if I just left the package, as they said I could, and he said they have a pile of boxes and keep a record of who doesn't package them good enough, and will "confront you" (his words) next time you try to send a package. The manager clearly has no training on how to deal with complaints. In fact, I was more upset after the manager's responses, which were nothing but EXCUSES, than with the original situation. I have written to corporate and asked for a response regarding a few things: 1.) I looked at the FedEx website and NO WHERE does it state under the Packaging Guidelines that a team member can push on the seal of your box WITH A FIST to see if it's sealed "good enough." 2.) Is it your policy to ask customers what is in the box? And ask why they're sending it? 3.) If you really do made the individual locations pay for damaged boxes "out of payroll," perhaps you should re-think this, as it is causing you upset customers based on the unrealistic expectations your employees have on packaging. (Or perhaps there is a quota on how many supplies are sold each day since every person who comes in to this location that I have seen is told they need to purchase a new box or more packaging?) At this point, I truly feel that this location is scamming its customers by requiring unneeded supplies before they will take the package. I sure hope the team at the Simi Valley location on Tapo Canyon will be retrained. They clearly have a manager who doesn't know how to role model appropriate customer service, and need to be retrained on packaging standards. My business will go to other FedEx locations that know how to treat their customers. read more

this location always pushes you to purchase a new packaging box. Even if the box you have is in perfect condition with no visual or internal issues. It's a terrible customer experience. If you try to reason with them using logic, they start becoming argumentative. This happened the last 3 visits. Excellent service!! The first time I used this location, I walked in and Adam was dealing with 5 different customers all at once with speed and efficiency. Very nice and professional with each individual! He was sweating he was moving so fast! He was so impressive I will now go it this location for all my printing needs. I also have dealt with a lady, I believe her name is Vanessa (5'6"ish & dark wavy hair), who didn't know where my copy and I waited for over an hour, and had to pick it up the next day. But Shane handled the whole thing with flying colors so that is why the facility is getting 5 stars. I was going to write a 1 star review after I found out what the lady did as it cost our production hours of work but again, Shane completely fixed everything, so thank you!!!! read more

This has to be the slowest location I've ever walked into. Very disorganized at the time. It was a one-man operation with loads of people waiting in line. I'm pretty sure this is not the model FedEx wishes for. But you never know maybe I have that wrong. Anyway if you got some time to kill this location is your place. read more

Helpful service, even with a smaller order/ amount of copies to be made, including transfers to letterhead, I was not hurried along, a fact which I appreciated. Color copies are like 50c here, so try not to mess too may of them up, all things considered that's not a bad price though (should you not have access to a color printer at home, even then you have to buy the ink which is a hassle anyways...yada yada yada). I'm not sure what's going on at this FedEx location, but it is my opinion that the employees and management here could really use some customer relations training. I walked into this FedEx office to send out a package with a preprinted return label and to "mail" some paperwork to my company's head office. I clearly caught the only woman working here at a bad time. It is also my opinion that she was not feeling well because she was acting as though she had a pretty bad cold. This is most likely the reason she was acting so awful towards me, so I will forgive her for her terrible attitude. The poor woman was very curt, almost rude as she asked me what was in the box I was sending out and she seemed impatient when I told her I also wanted to "mail" some documents. She then snapped at me saying, "This is not a post office, we do not mail things here" (At this point an image of a very sour faced Professor Snape [HP] immediately popped into my head) I told her, "I was only using the word mail as a generic term in this case, as in to send (a letter or package) from one location to a different location." I then asked her again if I could send my documents through FedEx? "I believe I've mailed things (oops! I used the wrong term again!) from this location before." She again said, "This is not a post office, we do not mail things here! Go to the Post Office if you want to mail something! You can send it 1 day, 2 day or 3 day FedEx only!" She was getting very agitated at this point and she clearly did not understand what I was trying to communicate to her. I said, "2 day then" and she slapped down an envelope and a form in front of me and said, "fill this out." Feeling berated I slid the items back toward her and said, "Nope, I think I will take your advice and go to the Post Office, I believe they will be more helpful." I'm sure she understood what I was trying to do. I just wanted to send some paperwork through FedEx. I just kept using the wrong term (mail). I think she was just caught up in a vocabulary kerfuffle! This FedEx has the absolute WORST customer service I have ever encountered. They are condescending and rude. I actually downloaded yelp just so I could write this review. I used to only get documents spiral bound there, because That seemed to be the only thing I never had a problem doing there, until today. Spiral bounding doesn't take more than 7min (depending on how big the document is), and mine would not have taken that long either. However, the "manager" had an issue being put on the spot, when I asked if he could spiral bind my document right then. (Yet again, I've never had a problem with that before.) He proceeded to help every single customer who came in to ship boxes before helping me, until another employee clocked in and did it for him. A half hour later, he then had the nerve to say, "Yeah, this is why I don't like being put on the spot." I just asked him how much it was, because I didn't have the time anymore to continue that aggressive conversation he tried to start. read more

I've gone here several times due to the convenience of the location. Each time I wonder when and how shipping got sooo expensive yet, my bad, I keep going back there. I went here today to ship a package. Immediately, the girl behind the counter is asking me questions about what I am shipping, how it's packed, can she open my box, etc. She then starts picking apart my pretty solid packaging job saying there is too much movement and my box is not a standard shipping box (wtf I just got a package from Nordys in that exact box the day before). She's quite annoying and clearly not good with people, let alone customers, but I need to ship the darn box. Finally she agrees the box is "ok" but states I need more packaging. Uh, ok, sure. Whatever needs to happen. She says "well I have to charge you for the packaging paper". Never have they nickel and dimed me this way. At this point, I'm over her and tell her forget it. I will take my business elsewhere. So I went to the UPS store. Who btw said... "Wow, you packaged this perfect". That's right - as is. It was "perfect". I won't go here again. read more
