I am trying from last one hour that is it me only so much concerned about the authentic taste or more like me out there.. checked all other reviews of this place. Hope I can give zero rating. I tried this today to go order - as I was around the place and thought it will be good. Generally.. I like to try new open restaurants in area. had 2 to go orders - chola bhatoora and Kadhi pakora for my son and myself. food when I opened at home .. I was shocked to see color wise and taste wise both - it was too bad. full of waste of money and time. I'll never try this place again. sorry I don't beed to write it but it's total fail by taste. no ware close to authentic kadhi or chola. completely disappointed. place owner was nice and I assumed food will be definitely good when I'll try at home. it was total waste of $32.92 And my time and my mood. people should not cook if they don't know anything about the dish. finally door dashed something else at home.

Stopped by Kake Ke Dhaba for Saturday lunch after Indian grocery shopping. Ordered the karahi chicken along with garlic naan and rice. The food was decent and served quickly, which was a plus since it was lunchtime. The naan was fresh and the portions were reasonable. Staff were friendly and attentive. While everything was fine, the flavors didn't really stand out or feel memorable. Overall, it's a convenient spot for a quick, casual meal, but not a place I'd go out of my way for.

You do not want to miss out on this delicious place. Family size portions for such a reasonable price. We started our meal with the masala chai, which was perfect on such a cold night. We ended up sharing multiple dishes off the menu. My personal fav the tikka masala. So delicious. The gentleman who helped us made sure we were well taken care of. So kind and attentive. I will definitely be coming back to this place.

In eathinic restaurant food is is utmost than service and cleanliness. This place posses all three one of the best biryani in entire Artesia or most orange county very generous portions and beautiful thing is not overly expensive. I know Aftab bahi the master chef I garunty the food would be the best the hospitality is great the gentleman I forgot his name he was hustling taking care of everyone..i highly recommend this place it small but full of great food and pretty clean. They serve vegetarian and non vegetarian dishes and they all are great .

This place serves Punjabi-style Indian food. We ordered Chicken Karahi, Goat Karahi, Channa Masala Lahori, and Aloo Paratha. All the dishes were freshly made and tasted good. I highly recommend this place for non-typical Indian food.

A buffet in Little India? A welcome surprise! https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=__T1drswUNW3trb2CSy2ag&userid=xsT4KZTu_KnOVavtuXn4RA Occupying the former premises of Ambala Dhaba, Chennai Dosa Corner & other eateries, Kake Da Dhaba, a Punjabi restaurant, has recently opened up with signage promoting their AYCE buffet. Lunch buffets used to be common amongst the Little India restaurants. Aside from a few weekend/brunch buffets, there's slim pickings these days. So, when I spotted Kake Da Dhaba's buffet, I knew I had to check them out. https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=sJQ6hVtw5tXDjD93qApYuQ&userid=xsT4KZTu_KnOVavtuXn4RA Inside, I noticed the chafing dishes were labelled, but empty. I was told to choose what I'd like, and the food would be made to order. After what seemed like an excruciatingly long 15 minutes or so, I finally had my tray of food. While having freshly made food is a positive, when dining at a buffet, I'm ready to chowdown ASAP. Now that I know the food's made to order, I know to expect a wait, going forward. On to the food, I found Kake Da Dhaba's food really delicious. I was quite fond of their goat curry, chole bhature, saag paneer & kadhi. The flavors popped, warming my body. To cool off, the sweet chilled dahi balla was a great way to end the buffet (twice). https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=8ieo2HKPChexFqw49VD6yQ&userid=xsT4KZTu_KnOVavtuXn4RA https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=hJjcZdj4_dP6ZNShe5Bvrg&userid=xsT4KZTu_KnOVavtuXn4RA There are two things I believe have room for improvement. Asking for a glass of iced water, I was told the only included option is room temp tap water. Yuck! Fortuitously for me, my Owala stainless steel water bottle had some left for me to drink. Having included chilled spring water (or even better, masala chai) would enhance the experience. In addition, the rice didn't taste very fresh. I only had a little bit, saving the carbs for the tasty garlic naan. https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=ilrZOcw058_ZTx4u70w7ww&userid=xsT4KZTu_KnOVavtuXn4RA Service was good. Again, the wait seemed long, but my food was being freshly prepared. Kake Da Dhaba, being a quaint restaurant, has a decent amount of seating. Parking is shared at the New Flavors of India plaza, with more parking via metered street & nearby parking structures. Kade Da Dhaba brings back the Indian buffet, once a stalwart of Little India. I highly enjoyed the food available in their buffet. Packed with flavor, I'm looking forward to coming back for more, hoping more buffet options are integrated and to see if my suggestions are taken into consideration.

Their second location in LA is in Hawaiian Gardens. Gorgeous interior, perfect place for a date or gathering. They have large spaces and private areas inside. The food was delicious and so are their mocktails!! Wowww I was very impressed with the double smoked apple cocktail and highly recommend trying it. All their dishes are made with so much detail. And, many of the dishes have a very visual interactive moment like their table side bhel puri, puri, or their chicken biriyani and smoked beef. From modern authentic dishes to street food they have it all. The sloppy khans were also delicious! I really enjoyed their curry dishes with the garlic naan. They have so many dishes to try! I cannot wait to come back to try their butter chicken and paneer as well! For dessert we tried their rose milk cake and the chocolate samosas. Both were satisfying and the milk cake felt really special. Huge thank you to Ali, who has such a vibrant energy about him!!!!! He really added to the wonderful experience and helps us appreciate all the details and background of the dishes as well! Cannot rave about him enough. Definitely made the experience special for us! Like Trader Joe's chicken tikka masala is better than what I had today. The tikka masala was spicy when I ordered it no spice. Aside from the spice it had zero flavor. Just salty. The Malai Chicken, same thing. No flavor. Just salt. The samosa looked very appetizing. But then you get this pungent aroma of olive oil. I think they fry it in olive oil or some oil that's not meant for samosa. Because it stinks and the flavor is awful. The yellow daal was meh so was the Jerra rice and naan. The only got the basmati rice correct. I spent $88 on a lunch no one ate after 1-2 bites. What a waste. I guess I'm used to Kamal Palace where they make really good Indian food. I was giving this place a try and regret it.
