The India Restaurant is located in Artesia on the block with all of the amazing Indian restaurants. My boyfriend and I were somewhat in the area, and we made a slight detour to explore the area. This was such a great spontaneous discovery. They have a small parking lot in the front where we parked, but then we saw later on that they also have additional parking in the back if you don' see spots in the front. Upon entering the staff was welcoming. The gave us a few tables to choose from that were cleaned and appropriate for 2 people. I just want to say service was impeccable our whole time there. Everyone on their team took turns checking on us, making sure our waters were refilled, and that we had everything we needed to enjoy our meal. So nice!! As we explored the menu, we saw the combination dinners that allowed us to get more variety, which we love. We both picked a different combo so we could share and try more things. My boyfriend enjoys tandoori so he went with the Mix Tandoori Grill ($26.95) that comes with an assortment of Tandoori Chicken, Lamb Seekh Kabab, Chicken Tikka, Fish Tikka served in a sizzling platter on a bed of onions with naan, rice, and gulab jamun. So much food! I picked the India Special ($24.95) which comes with chicken tikka, the choice of lamb or chicken curry which I opted for the chicken, veg, korma, raita, rice, naan, and gulab jamun. What a FEAST!! For the naan I asked for the garlic naan and it was INCREDIBLE. Wow! Might be THEE best Indian food I have ever enjoyed. Between the two of our orders I felt like I had the variety I have when I go eat at Indian buffets. My boyfriend loved the tandooris platter. All of the proteins were cooked perfectly. I assume they were prepped separately to get to the right cooking temp. So funny because my boyfriend was eating the rice while I was indulging in the naan. Dipping the naan in the curry and the korma. Nom Nom Nom! So fun and so delicious. My boyfriend was even saying this is one of the best meals he had in a while. I was so full when the gulab jamun dessert came out at the end but it was so delicious I still ate all of it. Without a doubt the best execution of this dessert I have ever had. We will definitely be back when we find ourselves craving Indian food.

We went here on a Wednesday night. They have parking in front and in the back of the restaurant. It is really nice inside. Their menu has lots of good options. We ordered the Vegetarian & Meat Samosas. 5/5 Really Tasty The garlic & butter naan was also very good. 5/5 The Tikka Masala & Butter Chicken were great too. 5/5 When you order a plate they give you family style rice. You can always ask for more rice. The service was great too. I will definitely return and try other menu options.

a few spots for parking in front of the restaurant with parking behind the restaurant as well. as soon as we walked in, we were greeted by the staff right away and felt like the service was almost on par with a fine dining restaurant. they were attentive to keep our glasses filled with water and attended to us almost immediately whenever we needed something. we started off with the assorted veggie appetizer as it was like a sampler of different apps. everything was seasoned well and would be a good way to feed a stubborn kid veggies. the lamb biryani was not as flavorful as i had expected and kind of spotty (some bites were more packed with flavor and spice than others). in order to try something new, we ordered the chicken marai but was a bit sweet due to the coconut milk.

Great service and great food! The servers were so kind and on top of refilling waters and clearing plates. I really liked the gobi manchurian as it had great flavor and crispiness! I also liked how it came with plenty of veggies. The butter chicken with garlic naan was my favorite dish. It was sooo buttery and flavorful and I loved every bite. The garlic chicken tikka masala was alright; I was not a huge fan of the flavor but it wasn't bad. Definitely coming back here soon!

Came here for weekend lunch and was pleasantly surprised by how great everything was! We ordered the Butter Chicken and Chicken Tikka Masala--both were absolutely delicious, easily a 5/5 for flavor. Rich, creamy, and perfectly seasoned. They also offer lunch specials, which are such a good deal. You get naan (butter or garlic), a small salad (wish it had dressing, but still fresh), a samosa, rice, and the lentil of the day. I'm not a big beans/lentils person, but everything else tasted great and felt super worth it. Service was really on point--attentive, friendly, and quick. The atmosphere is quiet and comfortable, even during weekend lunch hours. They also have their own parking lot and a clean bathroom, which is always a plus. They also have tea and coffee station, I had the tea which was delicious! Overall, I'd definitely come back again, especially for the lunch specials! Highly recommend!

I loved: Chicken Tikka Masala I really liked: Butter Chicken Garlic Naan Mango Lassi The chicken tikka masala is amazing. The chicken is super moist and the flavors are excellent. Easily the standout of the meal. The butter chicken is really good too. The flavors are on point, though the chicken could be a little more moist. Still very satisfying. The yellow soup is super full bodied and packed with spices. Lots going on there in a good way. The bread thing is well spiced, and the garlic naan is crispier and firmer than some places but still super good and easy to keep eating. The mango lassi is pretty solid. Sweet, smooth, and great flavor. The restaurant is clean inside and the service is pretty attentive. Overall a good meal and a nice spot for catching up with a friend.

Had dinner with family this weekend to celebrate my niece's birthday. We ended up ordering quite a few appetizers (bhel puri, okra, vegetable samosa, peanut salad, and mixed veggies) and some dishes (chicken tikka, saag paneer, chicken biryani, shrimp tandoori ) that were amazing! (Although, I did not get a chance to take a photo of everything :( ) Would highly recommend this place if you're looking for Indian food in Pioneer town. It was a busy weekend, so service was not up to par as I expected it to be but decent.

It was love at first bite. My wife and I stumbled on this hidden gem a couple weeks back. A fish coconut curry, lamb chops, and palak paneer later, we were charmed. The past two weeks have not gone by without us talking about going back. Today we tried the tandoori chicken, goat biryani, and rogan josh. A brand new adventure in spices and flavors. Tender chicken and goat surrounded by their own unique personality, we cleaned our plates spotless. That's just the food. The care that Simmi and Simran take to guide us through the menu and make sure everything was perfect took the experience beyond perfect. This is an automatic regular stop and I can't wait to try everything on the menu.

Saag paneer, chicken tikka masala, Garlic Naan The Indian trinity pairs sooo well together every time!

My favorite spot for Indian cuisine. I've been coming here since 2004, back when I was a child. This place is a core memory for me and my family, and I'm so happy to know it's still running. The servers are always friendly and attentive. I do miss their buffet days, but the food is always spot on. The restaurant is clean and beautifully done inside. Dishes range from mild, medium, spicy, to extra spicy, I always get mine spicy, and it's perfect (if you don't like spice medium is good) These dishes are classic staples They're also a great introduction to Indian food safe, comforting, and approachable for new eaters. I promise. What to order (trust me): Start with the Masala chai - their chai is perfect smooth and creamy Samosas - comes with 2, filled to the brim with potato, so yum Chicken Tikka Masala - a classic favorite and has a hint of sweetness and the chicken is tender Saag Paneer - perfectly balances the sweetness alongside the tikka masala Garlic Naan - hits every single time, a must For sweets if you have room Gulab Jamun - syrupy, hot little dough balls MUST pair with Rice Pudding - cold and creamy Their tandoori, butter chicken, and veggie korma is so delicious as well, I catered my review to dishes I would recommend to first timers

I used to come here for their amazing lunch buffets and it's such a shame they stopped offering it post-covid. I still hope for the day they bring back the buffet. It's been a while since we've been to the restaurant and we thought we'd come by again to try their lunch specials. We got their chicken tikka masala, butter chicken, and lamb curry lunch specials, which come with a generous portion of food. They have a self-serve station for chai and coffee, which was a nice addition to the meal. The plate comes with the entree, rice, salad, and a mung bean side dish. They also provide naan and a small dessert. Their garlic naan is amazing and I've truly missed it since I last had their buffet. While it's not refillable, the rice is, if you're feeling that the portions aren't enough. We were stuffed at the end of it and I would have to say my favorite was the chicken tikka masala, the flavors were great. The butter chicken was a close contender for me.

Hands down the BEST Indian restaurant in Artesia! Every single dish is packed with flavor and made to perfection. The Chicken Tikka Masala is absolutely incredible--the chicken is juicy, tender, and cooked perfectly, while the masala sauce is rich, flavorful, and downright addictive. The Chana Masala is top-tier and full of authentic flavor, and the Aloo Gobi is just as amazing--perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. One thing I love is how generous they are with the rice portions. You'll never run out, and it makes the entire meal even more enjoyable. And I can't forget the Garlic Naan and Raita! The naan is fresh, soft, buttery, and loaded with garlic, making it the perfect companion to every dish. The raita ties everything together and adds the perfect refreshing touch. If you're looking for authentic, delicious Indian food with incredible flavors, this place is a must-visit.

Relaxing ambiance with nice dinnerware. The complimentary papadam with mint and tamarind chutneys were appreciated. The garlic naan was great - crisp on the outside but also soft and chewy. We ordered medium spice for both the Lamb Curry and the Chicken Tikka Masala. Both had a nice kick, especially the Lamb Curry and the sauces paired well with the rice and naan. Servers were also kind.

In the mood for Indian food, we decided to check out The India Restaurant since we planned to get groceries at 99 Ranch across the street after dinner. While the parking lot for The India Restaurant was small, we managed to find a spot fairly easily. As soon as we walked in, we noticed the lovely and stately decor. The interior is bright and refined, with friendly service. Papadam and both mint and tamarind chutneys were brought to the table shortly after being seated. Prices are quite fair and we ordered samosas, butter chicken, bengan bharta (eggplant), lentil soup, and garlic naan. Entrees are served with rice, which can be refilled. While all of the food was solid and tasty, I also did not find anything extraordinary. I ordered everything mild but wanted a little bit of heat so in retrospect should have opted for medium spice level. Overall, no complaints.

Luckily, we already knew what we wanted so we ordered that. The wait staff was very kind and checking in on us constantly. The flavors and spice within their Punjabi Butter Chicken and Lamb Vindaloo is outstanding. This was the first time we tried the Chili Garlic Naan and I HIGHLY recommend! I don't think three stars is bad. So just to restate. The food is not bad. But I'm not going to take this review down because I don't feel like it's appropriate for the owner to message you privately with an attitude and try to strong-arm you into taking down the review. I have left plenty of reviews about restaurants in Little India, and not once as anybody messaged me with the tone that you have used with me. So I'm leaving it up. Live and learn.
