That's the highest praise you can get in our house. Everything we tried was flavorful and well-spiced, and the buffet had enough variety that we both went back for seconds (okay, thirds). The staff were attentive without hovering, kept our drinks full, and were warm and welcoming the whole time. I have nothing bad to say about my experience at India Palace. The food was fantastic for the lunch buffet, great price, exceptional service and a calm, cool atmosphere to be in during a hot day. The owner, Kuki, and his family were so incredibly hospitable and welcoming. They made us feel right at home and made sure to have everything we needed throughout our meal. They brought us water, toothpicks and even some naan that came with the buffet. It is service like this that makes people want to come back and eat here. The food was also really good, especially the paneer, both the tikka and saag. They were the standouts for me. I have eaten there a few times already. The chef has taken notice of me because I am also an above average home cook foodie. He often shares his knowledge of the vegetarian cuisine which is foreign to me being a meat eater. One of the curris listed below he was telling me cooks fornmore than 5 hours. It is such a treat to have eaten this curry which I scooped up with the garlic Haan. The naan is dangerous because you can't stop eating it. Looking forward to going back. Dishes come with rice, I still order Naan cause I love Naan. Samosa order is 3 pieces while the price is usually what I see for 2. We already had 2 birthday parties here, the food is very good. Sonia was very good, she went out there and made us very comfortable. Everything that she promised us, kept her word. Have friends from different ethnic background and was very happy, because it suited their taste buds. Its delicious and not too salty, oily and overspiced, its also very flavorful. Very happy with the food and service received, the staff is very friendly and attentive. The restaurant is also beautifully decorated, we did not have to do much decorations. First time here , we had the buffet on sunday and the food was very good! The tandoori chicken was so delicious and juicy. The garlic naan was very good also. Service was really nice, Sonia was our waiter. We met the owner who was very sweet as well. We ordered hara bara kabobs and onion pakora for apps. The kabobs were so tasty! The pakora was perfectly crispy and onions were nicely spiced. Then for entrees we had malai methi, saag paneer, dahl makhani and paneer tikka. Everything was so good! This time I ordered the tandoori chicken and tandoori fish, and both were outstanding. The chicken was juicy and perfectly seasoned, while the fish was tender with an amazing smoky tandoori flavor. You can tell they put care into the food and use quality ingredients. The owner recommended to try chicken 65 next time also, can't wait. It's great to have another authentic Indian/Pakistani restaurant in the Artesia/Norwalk area.
