While in the middle of a walk south on Path400 (the hiking path that follows Georgia State Route 400), we decided to walk to Fresh To Order on Peachtree Rd. It was on President's Day, a holiday, at about 2 pm, when we walked into F2O. The set up inside afforded a little privacy for all customers, since there were sections with different types of seating (tall stools and tall counter in one section, tables set up for groups and tables set up for up to two people) indoor, and shaded seating outside in a fenced patio. We walked close to the order counter, where an employee was helping a couple with their meal decisions. Another employee in the kitchen area noticed us looking around for menus, and she walked over to us with two menus asking, "Do you need to look at the menu?" She was so kind, and cheerfully answered our questions about a couple of menu items. When we were ready to order, we got behind the couple still at the counter, and the customer-focused employee, who gave us the menus and answered our questions, now stood behind a different area of the counter and called out to us, "I can take your order here." I ordered a full (as opposed to half) Grilled Chicken BLT Panini - fire-grilled chicken, avocado, candied peppered bacon, baby greens, tomatoes, sprouts and bacon aioli. Chips or an apple came with this meal, and I chose an apple. R ordered a Finer Combo of a half Asian Chicken Crunch Panini (almond rosemary crusted chicken, Asian slaw, avocado and chili peanut aioli) and a half Asian salad (mixed baby greens, Mandarin oranges, candied walnuts, tomatoes, avocado, sesame seeds, pickled ginger, Szechuan peanuts and crispy noodles). We were given a number to place on the table so that the employees would know where to serve our food. Our food arrived in less than 10 minutes, served on a couple of heavy duty rectangular serving plates, delivered by yet another smiling employee. Great presentations! The portions of food leaned towards the bigger side. I liked my sandwich. It was easy and had great contrasting flavors and textures. The only thing that I didn't like about this meal was that the sprouts were baby sprouts - so thin that they were like fine hairs. I'd rather have sprouts that add a crunchy texture; in contrast, these sprouts provided a mushy texture that I didn't like. It wasn't a deal breaker, though. R's enjoyed his meal, and said that his half salad was huge. The employee who originally brought us our food came by a few times to check in on us while we were eating. This was an unexpected, but very pleasant surprise to us. Toward the end of our meal, he came by again, this time to let us know that he'd be by after our meal to pick up the plates, so we didn't have to clean our table. Nice! Food is fantastic. They have great paninis and we especially love the wild mushroom soup. We specifically ordered for this to be delivered to our hotel as we did not have a car available. Either yelp or DoorDash changed the order to be take out. DoorDash support said they could not change the order even though it was their mistake. So now I have a hungry family with no way to pick up the food. Out of desperation I called the restaurant and explained the situation. The person I talked to said not to worry and he would bring the food immediately. Just outstanding customer service!!! Needless to say he received a large tip. Came here to try a new location I normally frequent the one inside Cumberland mall but I was going to Lenox square today so figured I'd stop by this location. For starters parking is somewhat a nightmare in the garage behind the building and trying to get my ticket validated was a hassle because I couldn't get anyone's attention to get assistance on how. I'm new to this whole having to validate to park in Atlanta. Coming in first notice this place has the same set up as the others not as clean but I just guessed maybe the crew hadn't quite recovered after the lunch crowd. I arrived at 1:50pm. The guy that took my order was very soft spoken but recommended the southwest salad which was really good along with the salmon with orange sauce. Overall it's spacious good place for a group lunch if you'd like. It is a little pricey for a small chain but the options are up to par with the pricing. I might not come to this location again due to parking but I will continue to frequent the Cobb location read more

After hearing my coworker rave about it for months, I finally decided to give this F2O a try after having a bad experience in the Johns Creek location. Even though it wasn't busy when I walked in, it still took forever to move through the line because the card system was down and they would have to write down everyone's card information. Because of that, I offered to just pay with cash to make things easy, but they couldn't get the register open so it ended up taking more time. After ordering I expected the food to be out relatively fast, but I was wrong about that too. I sat there for about another 15-20 minutes before the food actually came out, and when it did, it was just a very small panini and not worth the $10 I spent. I've only been here once and it was the midtown location but it was so long ago. So I decided to come here for lunch Friday. It really is a cute little spot with a good amount of seating, inside and outside. When I walked in I was handed a menu which I thought was efficent because now you can decide before you get to the counter and not hold up the line. There were quite a few options and usually I was going to get a wrap or a sandwich but then I saw the plates and decided to get the small plate of grilled salmon with black bean orange sauce. It took about 15 or so minutes, I mean it is fresh to order. Salmon wasn't that thick but it was a nice portion size for a small plate. That black bean orange sauce was delicious! I wish there was more for my rice. The corn relish on top was good and gave another texture to the plate. This plate was about $10 and I recommend it. They also sell wine, which I didn't know. Came here for a quick company lunch. Service was quick and very friendly. There were several of us, and we were greeted promptly while we were in line, and one of the employee asked us if this was our first time. Several of us, including myself, have never been here before, and the employee quickly gave us a run down of the menu and the ordering process. They were very patient with us and everyone here was super nice. I ordered the long plate calamari and mashed potatoes as my side. The calamari came with some type of ginger sauce. I asked at the counter if it was possible to get marinara instead, and they told me it is, but I still got the ginger sauce anyway. Regardless, it was still delicious so I did not complain. My entree also came with shredded purple cabbage and carrots that also had some type of ginger dressing. I enjoyed it, but there were two thin slices of lemon that was breaded all the way and tossed with the calamari - had I not paid attention, I wouldve bit into this lemon as it easily blended with the actual calamari - that wouldve ruined it for me. But I didnt, so no harm done - still not cool though haha. Everyone else seemed to enjoyed their food. My coworkers ordered paninis, soups, chicken tenders, and more, and everyone agreed that their food came out delicious. I love being able to write an update and upgrade a star!! After my first visit to this particular f2O and my review, I was graciously contacted by the company . . . and even more generously, along with a nice note, sent gift certificates with the request to please return and try them out again. Wow! That's what Yelp should be used for, IMO, by business owners/managers/etc - take the feedback and reach out, and we WILL respond!! Happily, I have made a couple trips back to the Buckhead f2O with good results. They do validate parking (2 hrs) so the fact that it's a pay garage/valet situation isn't too much of a negative. As far as food goes, I was happy to learn- once I asked - that they'll make that same soup I loved at Ain't Nothing But a Yelp Thang if you ask - they kind of mix the tomato bisque and other stuff together . . . I suggested they put it on the menu!! I also tried the chicken caesar (love that they put avocado on it) and the veggie paninis (I got this one without the kalamata tapenade as I'm not a big olive fan). Enjoyed both. Good wine list as well, and I like that they do to-go, are open for dinner, and will do party/group kind of meals (for office lunches or small girly-get togethers, would be perfect!). I love all their healthy-ish options! My friend recommended coming here after a heavy lifting session, and it was exactly what my body needed! I got the salmon with curry sauce, and instead of wheat berry (I'm allergic) they were able to give me grilled veggies (absolutely delicious side, by the way). The salmon was done perfectly and smothered in creamy curry sauce, and honestly a normal portion is enough to fill a very hungry hippo (I finished it!). I hate them. Ok, hate is a strong word. I just really dislike them. They look unappetizing to me. I do not eat them or take them with me. I left the lollipop untouched at the table or discard them if I find them in my take out orders. I do not like Blue #1, Yellow #5 or Red #40 in my candies. My little suggestion: I know it will be asking too much to offer organic lollipops or candies. How about just put those existing lollipops in a jar next to the counter and not served with the meals or packed them with any take out orders. I got a full Asian salad without protein and it came out to little less than $10 before tip. The customer service here is fantastic. You're immediately greeted when you walk in and the staff here is extremely courteous and professional. My boyfriend and I stopped last night for a healthy dinner and I was amazed by the great customer service we experienced. The food was great. He ordered the special for the week, which was the blackened tilapia with the side of griddle cakes and these flavorful zucchini and onion fries. Yum! I ordered my usual bourbon filet sandwich. I love all the unique flavors in this sandwich and if you enjoy a nicely cooked piece of steak and blue cheese, this is your kind of panini! The caramelized onions are perfectly cooked and sweet and love all the colorful roasted peppers included in this sandwich. The bread was good, panini didn't taste that great, but wasn't bad either. KRAFT OR CRAFT? Not sure how they craft their mac and cheese, but it really tasted like it came out of a kraft box. THE PATIO IS AN ABSOLUTE MUST. In the area, you generally have to go to much more expensive restaurants to get a patio like this. There was also an automated check out that looked very interesting, but the line was actually shorter at the normal register. I want to try this in the future though. F20 is one of my favorite fast casual establishments in Atlanta. Just a few years ago, they opened a location at the airport. Although the airport has limited options, it's still a good option if you want something healthy. This was my first time at the Buckhead location. I used to go to the Midtown location a lot. Located right off Peachtree Rd up the street from Lenox Mall, this location offers one hour of free validated parking. I was staying at a hotel across the street, so I just walked. I usually order a panini, but this time I wanted chicken tenders. The tenders and mashed potatoes were the same as when I've ordered them before. Flavorful and pretty crispy. They didn't disappoint. What did I disappoint was the cleanliness of the restaurant. On a Thursday night, a friend and I found it to be very dirty. Although there were plenty of free tables, none of them were clean. Tables and floors were dirty! We had to call someone over to clean our table off. That night, the soda machine wasn't working. I didn't mind. But I watched employees congregate around the machine, failing to clean up in the surrounding area. Overall, I hope that if I went back it would be cleaner. If not, I'll go at the airport or the location in Midtown. read more
