Easy to find off Whittier Blvd. it's literally across from Dunkin Donuts. Cant miss it. Parking in the back. Small local fresh eats especially if you are trying to do the "New Better Improved ME" for 2026. I actually started following them on IG a couple years ago and I finally had the time to come in. I'm glad I did. Had to get lunch. Ended up getting The Hulk as a wrap. To wash it down, Greens juice. Taste, quality, quantity....Worth every penny. I'll come again to try out other items on the menu. Thanks ladies for prepping my meal.

This healthy eatery totally surprised me in the best way. The keto chicken tacos were freaking delicious -- I seriously wish I had ordered extra because they were that good. The tuna spring rolls weren't my favorite, but that won't stop me from coming back. Their menu has a solid variety of options, from sandwiches and wraps to salads and more, and I can't wait to come back and try different items. Definitely worth checking out!

This is a hidden gem and tucked away treasure in Whittier! Even though it's off Whittier blvd, I have missed it so many times driving by and never knew it was here. Overall, I would rate this a 7/10 and here's why: Pro's: Parking available in the back and along the side of the restaurant. Lots of healthy food options- especially if you're on keto or a low-carb lifestyle. Friendly staff. Cons: I ordered a salad and the presentation wasn't all too great. I wish I took a picture but I forgot. It honestly felt like something I would've just made at home. I ate inside but all the tables weren't clean. Even though we asked to clean (and they did eventually), the worker used windex for the table and nearly sprayed into my food until I moved it to the side. Take it or leave it: there aren't many seating options. Most people were picking up orders or taking out but if you plan to eat in, there's maybe enough room for 3 parties of 4 max. A couple tables of 2 outside.

    poke spring roll

Food is always so good but beware when ordering a spring roll to-go they pack them all on top of each other and you literally cannot separate them without ripping the whole dish apart. So either it needs to be put it separate containers or something needs be put in between to separate them that was completely irritating.

The food, and the service of this place is dope, yo!- but before I elaborate on the qualities that make this place blaze I want to begin with what confused me into a state of silly contemplation. I was not confused to a stupor that left me angry and frustrated, I was left more dazed with swirling lilies around my mind, like I had been hit hard with the staff of a fairy who pays the bills of the forest as an interior designer. The place has a design concept that takes two opposing forces and blends them into a restaurant concept: health forward food for O.G.'s and their like and crew, all while being a love letter to the streets of Los Angeles, the gritty streets, not the ones next to Rodeo. For instance, Cruz, one of the staff members, was wearing a "Straight out of Whittier" shirt that was clear nod to the movie straight out of Compton that was all about the rap and its consequence on West LA homeboy culture. The central mural of the joint showed low-riders, the LA symbol made with finger angles, and graffiti galore. Again, the message was clear this is a health cafe for Tupac and his friends and followers. These two principal ingredients mixing together (health food and LA street culture) at least in my mind, are more the subject for improv comedy than a sensible restaurant concept. I know people can mix what ever they want together, I know that there is choice when people color and dress, but this motif seemed like it was mixing Ninja culture with a dog grooming service. The concept can work, I see a ninja de-worming a golden retriever with swift skill but this concept also seems forced rather than flowing with common sense. So for a health cafe in LA I see Cher from Clueless, or Barbie, being more easily applied to the concept. But what do I know perhaps in a few months will have a Hell's Angel's tea experience that will not be dainty but rather hard like a helmet and it might be the concept that begins a revolution that ends with Hair Salons with Viking culture at its decoration theme. The (health) food in itself was a blessing. My friend Bailey is the healthy eater of the two of us! She got a simple green salad with tofu. I sampled a forkful. My hand had to dig in hard, with its fork, to retrieve the lettuce, the carrot, and some of the pickle, I avoided the tofu. The greens were fresh, and tasted clean in their simple flavors, but what elevated the green forkful to excellence in taste was the sweet mustard dressing. The green had dressing that turned solid greens to yummy ones! I ordered the shrimp tostada. Cruz, came to the table and explained that my plate was Keto friendly, which meant that it was good food for those who were experiencing life as a pre-diabetic, for example. What I loved about this place and its food, was that I did not feel like I was eating healthy and had to sacrifice pleasure in the name of honoring my health goals. Quite the contrary, the food was just plain good food, and for me, eating good clean food, is a fantastic way to keep my health goals on track. Apparently the tortilla was made out of cactus, and that is a why where the healthy stays in tact, while still being food that is satisfying, and, yummy! I would go here again, especially when my health goals are in full swing. This place will facilitate the process because the food was truly good!

Kalefornia Love gives locally owned, supports the community, small businesses vibes. It's located in a small plaza in close proximity to a few CrossFit gyms. Walking in, you immediately feel the LA vibes and aura of the place. They have a large menu that caters to different diets and ample vegan options. Service was friendly and accommodating. They had a great recommendation list for first timers. They also offer to make adjustments to menu items to cater to your diet, which I love! Order: Avocado toast add protein (smoked salmon) and the PB smoothie. Both were delicious. The portion was large and they absolutely were not shy with the smoked salmon. The PB smoothie had just the right of PB (not too thick) and I loved the blended chocolate chips. It made for a nice high protein sweet treat this morning. Parking: they have a few spots along side the store as well as handicap accessible parking right out front with no steps. If you're in the area, Kalefornia love is a great spot to check out for your post workout meal

OG Green smoothie; Tastes like ice cream, fresh and icy smooth but does not taste healthy. And shrimp spring rolls.

After reading the yelp reviews, I decided to try this place on a Sunday afternoon. I was starving and was craving something fresh to eat. When I arrived, it was a bit after 2:30 pm. I walked in and was greeted by a kind soul who gently informed me they were closed but he could offer a limited menu since I was already here. I agreed.. I must say the sandwich prepared was so colorful with all the variety of veggies and so flavorful. I ordered the retro V and it became my favorite at first bite! The layers of veggies are so aesthetically pleasing and deliciously paired with a spread of hummus on each piece of toasted sourdough bread. The balance of flavor, crunch, and deliciousness in each bite left me mind blown. A wonderful first experience starting with the customer service, delicious food, and the R&B playing. I will definitely return during normal business hours.

Located on Whittier Boulevard, in what's becoming a health trifecta of sorts (The Bee Hive, Crossfit training and Kalefornia Love are all situated within minutes of each other) this establishment brings together community, food, wellness and convenience in a nice package, with several anecdotal references to Los Angeles urban culture strewn about. It's like as if a juicer and Born X Raised brand, had a baby. I often visit after a workout and I'm thrilled to consume a healthy and fulfilling meal as to not derail what I just put into at the gym. The salads are fresh and served with ample dressing, and the juices are robust with flavor. Service is super friendly and accommodating. I usually call in my order and the food is ready within a reasonable time - not as quick as fast food, but not as long as a sit down restaurant. A comfortable in between, so call ahead if in a rush. The staff, maybe owner, appears invested in healthy eating which elevates my trust in the ingredients of the menu offerings. They also appear to have prepackaged meals and keto-friendly desserts available for carry out. Hope to see them again tomorrow!

A must try! I stopped by this morning after a work out. Was craving something healthy and packed with protein. I had the egg white sandwich added turkey bacon. It was so delicious. Came with a side green of salsa. Which was equally flavorful and I can tell it's made fresh. I also had a PB Protein Smoothie and a Ginger + Turmeric shot. The shot was very good. Flavor was perfect. The smoothie was very delicious. Overall I left very satisfied and enjoyed my meal. I will be back for sure. I noticed they have selection of meal preps so I will be checking them out and placing an order since the cut off is Friday. I can say they take pride in their cooking and meal prep. I'm not sure but I believe it's family operated. The owner is awesome and has good attitude. I highly recommend you stop by this Gem. Stop by and show some love to Kalefornia Love!

My wife and I pick up from here every so often, my favorite is the Monroe sandwich with a Wonder Woman juice, it's amazing and vegan friendly. We love to sit there and eat because it has such chill vibes and the owner is great. My wife also loves the pesto pasta with vegan chicken.

Ahi steak sandwich is amazing, that was half, I ate the other half before taking this picture.

I have passed by this place like a hundred times, I can't believe it took me this long to come here. I am so happy my girlfriend and her mom wanted to eat here because let me tell you, the Ahi steak sandwich I had was absolutely amazing. It was so damn flavorful and filling. The tuna was thick and juicy. Everything was really fresh, it's like I was eating tuna straight out of the ocean and straight on my plate. My girlfriend had a poke bowl which she enjoyed as well. The restaurant itself was not really a big place but it's really nice, it's a tribute to the city of LA and it's famous residents. The employees were very nice and because of all of that I will definitely be coming back.

    Spring rolls
    Kamillah V.

It was our first time here and the food options really caught my attention along with the juice/ smoothie and healthy shots! The service was good the girl at the front was super informative and helpful. The ambiance in there has a fun atmosphere with the decorations and theme they have going on. I didn't give a 5 star for the only reason that I wasn't super happy with my spring rolls falling apart because the rice paper got stuck to each other and pulling them even slowly and carefully it ripped apart. But I did really like my smoothie.

.., meet Whittier's Uptown hero!…read more My experience here was from 6/26/26 & it did not disappoint. Though I've been to Uptown Provisions twice before to support my friend Andrew M, as well as my other friend Andrew P. with Satori Coffee Project, this was my actual visit where I finally ate! Third times the charm! Tucked nicely into a Penn St. neighborhood, Uptown Provisions can easily be spotted by the loyal patrons waiting/dining outside. May the street parking gods be kind to you as they always provide me with a spot nearby. Knowing what I already wanted from doing my menu homework the night prior, I was practically drooling on my way in. Greeted by a great staff & friendly fellow patrons, I felt right at home. I went with the "Tom's Way" sandwich. Dedicated to one of their favorite customers, it's a crossover between an egg sandwich & a pastrami. It was perfect! Chef Aaron describes his sandos as the perfect West Coast sandwich, & that I can totally agree with. Tom's Way provided me with a robust sandwich blend that never knew I needed until now. Each component's flavor profile blended together nicely. I'm usually hit or miss with rye bread, but this rye hit the mark & held the ship together. The eggs were made with care & prepared in a way I've never tasted before, very delicious. Pastrami was tender, pickled onions provided the bitter tangy component while the broccoli slaw became the soothing blanket that nestled every flavor together. I absolutely loved my sandwich. They post a 20 minute wait time but I got mine in 15. Great things come to those who wait. They do not have a public bathroom so plan your visit accordingly. They have a few counter seats inside with plenty more outdoor seating in front with friendly locals chatting it up. Don't be shy with the napkins. Thank you Uptown Provisions for a great experience, I shall return!
