This is a tough review to write because the server was so friendly, but this poke shop needs some work. Food 3/5: The portions of the large ($20) are extremely small. Each scoop of fish was not full and the tiniest amount was used for each topping, meaning my bowl was mostly just rice. Then the amount of sauce used was not nearly enough so my bowl was nearly flavorless minus the spice from the spicy salmon. I had asked for ponzi and lemon garlic but I don't know if the server forgot to shake the bottle or something because it literally just looks like oil on top of my fish. Service 4/5: Very friendly and offered a complimentary miso soup with my food. Price $$: Definitely not worth the price for the quality of food here. Plenty of other poke places that offer better quality and portions for a comparable price. read more

i thought i had a favorite poke spot until i tried here... AMAZING! I got a small bowl with shrimp as my protein & the shrimp was really good & not fishy tasting. I was in the area and decided to try Bay Poke for lunch. I got a small bowl with salad, which definitely filled me up. They offer unlimited sauces and toppings. A few of the toppings have an extra charge, but they have such a great variety of free toppings that I didn't even need any. They are very generous with the toppings too, so it made for a very tasty and fresh bowl! I also had the miso soup, which comes plain, but it was perfectly seasoned, and not too salty. Heartbroken. My family and I have officially broken up with this spot. I'm so bummed. Where do I even start? Last week (01/24/2025), I walked in, and something just felt... off. The first thing I noticed was that both entrance doors were wide open. Then, while waiting to be helped, I realized it was uncomfortably hot inside. I also noticed that the usual women who assist customers weren't there. Instead, there was a young man and an older gentleman. Now, let's talk about the food--because this was the real heartbreak. The portion sizes were *laughably* small. I genuinely thought I was on an episode of Punk'd. Four tiny pieces of salmon in one scoop? They skimped on the fixings too--barely any crab meat or edamame. By the time I finished my medium bowl, I was left with a ton of rice and greens. Paying $16+ for what was essentially a rice and salad bowl? It also just didn't hit the spot. Beyond disappointing. To be fair, the older gentleman was very kind. The young man, however, was painfully slow with his service. The only positive change? They replaced the fountain machine. But honestly, that's not enough to make up for everything else. After 7+ years of coming here, I'm sad to say we won't be back. It's not worth my money. read more

It was my friend's birthday, and when I told them we were there to celebrate he even added a little extra treat to our meals! They checked in on us to see if we enjoyed the food and even asked if portions were enough! Talk about going above and beyond for their guests. Ok now the food. Wow, I love how fresh the fish is, absolutely no fishy smell. The toppings were amazing. I got the spicy mayo and ponzu but my friend was swooning for their lemon sauce! It's now run by a kind and welcoming Korean family who clearly care about both the quality of their food and their customers' experience. The ingredients are always fresh -- you can taste the difference! The fish is high quality (the owner shared that he previously worked at several sushi restaurants and now preps the poke himself daily using premium ingredients). The toppings are generous, and every bowl feels well-balanced. No matter how you build your bowl, you really can't go wrong. The restaurant is also spotless and well-maintained, making it just as enjoyable to dine in as it is to order out. You can really tell they take pride in every part of the business. Came here last week to pick up food during my lunch, found hair in my bowl so I called to let them know. They didn't know how to refund so asked me to take pictures of the hair in my food and come back next time. Came by today for my refund because I was grabbing food next door. I spoke with the Korean owner who was extremely rude, grabbing my phone out of my hand to look at the photos and took my phone behind the counter where I could not see what he was doing. I kept asking him to return my phone back and that I could text him the picture instead. He was acting very shady and started interrogating me with questions like. When did you come?
