Was in the Whittier area, and this place looked interesting so I thought I would give it a try. They have the common teriyaki options like similar type spots; bowls, burgers, fries, etc... First of all, the grilled chicken was great from the teriyaki plate we ordered. My personal opinion on the sauce though, is that it is bland. I am saying this from a guy who loves teriyaki sauce. I would give the chicken a 5/5 but the sauce would be a 2/5. My son had a cheeseburger and thoroughly enjoyed it with fries. So good burger here. Will I come back? Apparently this is the largest size shrimp bowl Happy good friday i guess. This is just the largest of the 3 choices for bowls. 5 piece shrimp with nothing veggie wise. Avoid this place the cashier didnt speak english and the little spanish i knew wasnt enough. The kid with the cross tattoo on his sleeve, was no better and he spoke fluent english. I bought that with the understanding that the shrimp and for a plate was going to have tempura vegetables like I asked for. Total disappointment. Overall, the food was good. Service was okay. The food reminded me of a Waba Grill or Flamebroiler. There is a small area to sit outside with two tables if you prefer not listening to the television. The chicken was though a bit dry and I ended up not finishing it because my teriyaki sauce wasn't enough and I ended up eating dryer than normal pieces of chicken. After waiting 30 mins for your one bowl of food you get a large portion of rice with your small side of meat. The ratios for protein to rice are absurd. Just visited this location unfortunately won't be coming back. I'm not one to post a review on something based on bad or good service. However, if you can't keep basic cleanliness and quality of food you're serving that's different! I got 2 chicken and beef plates with a salad. When I was putting dressing on my salad I noticed that the lettuce had dirt on it literally had dirt didn't even bother to rinse out the dirt.
