Pretty good sushi! Pretty expensive depending on what you order but not bad for fancy dinner!

I asked for a avocado asparagus roll as an appetizer and a glass of hose wine Chardonnay to start! All was good. Taste was as expected. The restaurant is very clean and put together. Good music. It was recommended from the nearby Marriott Sawgrass Resort when I asked for a nearby rest with vegetarian options. I had a yellow curry with tofu. It was light, which I liked! read more

We have been eating at Pacific Fusion consistently over the past year, and I must say I am a HUGE fan! The sushi is fabulous. My husband orders apps and other Thai dishes, and we are never disappointed. Had a ton of people in town over the holidays and this was their favorite restaurant hands down in all of Ponte Vedra. I will say that there are one or two servers that dont have a clue, but the others are def on the ball. In Ponte Vedra good upscale food is hard to come by unless you like corporate restaurants (Ruth Chris). Pacific Fusion is locally owned and operated. In fact, the owner is often behind the sushi bar prepping our rolls. We have never had a bad experience, which says a lot since we eat here about once a week. read more

Eaten there probably 50 times but lately have been disappointed in quality. Ordered a meal with scallops for an up charge and they only added three. Overall portions of veggies much less than in the past. Sorry to see this. read more

Had a lunch on Saturday at Pacific Fusion and were delighted with this restaurant. Great ambiance, fast service, and great food. There were very few customers and service was excellent. My wife ordered Roast Duck and was pleased with it. I didn't know that I could be impressed with Chicken Teriyaki that my daughter ordered - was a true meal! I ordered Sashimi Regular which had a fabulous presentation and extremely fresh. We had amazing experience. Highly recommend! read more

I was totally impressed with my Sizzling Mongolian Beef. The flavor was wonderful and, it was tender enough to cut with a butter knife - but don't order soup. I ordered the tum yum soup with shrimp, and, to me, it tasted like dishwater with two gummy bear shrimp floating around. read more

They may be rebranding, but they'll always be Pacific Fusion to me. Friendly and prompt service and easily the best sushi around at very reasonable prices. The Thai options are also solid, though not what I usually get from there. Order one of the boats if you're there with another sushi lover and feeling ambitious. read more

Ok.... Let's start with walking through the door. Looks can be very deceptive. Everything looks like a very posh ,feng shui place. The lighting is so low you can not see the menu. I ordered the seaweed salad and the wonton soup. I can't complain about this, very good. However.... it is rude to remove your dinner guests plates and serve them the entrée while the other guest is still eating an appetizer. If the place was crowded I could see a big turn over, but that was not the case. Our waitress seemed stressed, and the hostess had one of my biggest pet peeves... open toed shoes with chipped nail polish. When you represent a company, please be professional. No dessert was offered and we were rushed out. Now.... there have been violations in the past with this restaurant. Pacific fusion has been cited. However, new name, new owners... whatever. When I looked up and saw the CAKED ON DUST ON THE LAMP SHADE.... IS THIS A PLACE WHERE YOU WANT TO EAT???? Overall, poor service, overpriced, filthy bathrooms, and will never return. Terrible! Ordered on line and they didn't place the order. Sushi had odd flavor, springs rolls were dripping g old grease and flavorless, pad Thai was more like plain noodles, order peanut sauce- didn't get. Don't waste your time and money trying this place. Just awful. read more

Like the food and atmosphere is fine, but our service (6) of us was terrible! They charged for dishes no one ordered and so one friend asked for the manager. She then argued with our friend that he was mistaken. My husband's dinner arrived 8 minutes before mine. Then we were told they ran out of shrimp! We've been at this restaurant twice thus far and the food and the ambiance has been great.. I'm not sure I can say the same for service though. Last night we went there for dinner and experienced something weird. I ordered a Tom Yum soup with chicken but received soup with shrimp instead. I had taken a few sips of the soup before realizing it had shrimp in it. When I brought this up to the waitress she said that she would bring me some boiled chicken on the side.. When I reminded her that the soup had shrimp, she very nonchalantly said "just scoop it out with a spoon". When she saw the reaction on my face, she offered to bring me a new soup.. Not once did she apologize for the mishap.. Good thing I was not allergic to shell fishI would still go to this place in the future but I hope the wait staff is trained better in the future. read more

to call their food thai seems incorrect. & I definitely wasn't impressed... I ordered the garlic chicken for my husband & the tuna avocado salad for me. our entrees were nothing to brag about. the garlic chicken tasted similar to cheap chinese & the tuna avocado salad was tiny and the tuna was extra fishy. :/ we ordered some appetizers as well -- fresh spring rolls & some type of fried scallop with crab meat on top. the appetizers were surprisingly good. I think the cost of the food is a bit high when you consider the quality of the food. if I'm going to spend my money on thai, I'll stick with lemongrass. I'd come back for appetizers because it's so close by, but I wouldn't go outta my way. the interior is rather gorgeous though. Had lunch on a Saturday at noon. The decor is modern and trendy. Ordered the Yummy and Super California rolls and General Tso chicken with fried rice. Food was very good. However, the sign on the door says they have happy hour for $4 regular rolls and $8 specialty sushi rolls Mon-Saturday until 6. We got there at 5:15 and ordered. When we got the bill, they had not taken the discount off, which would have been around $20. We asked about it and they said there was not a discount today because it is a holiday. There was nothing posted ANYWHERE stating that and they did not honor the special sign they had posted out front. Secondly, the holiday is tomorrow. So, sushi rolls for three and a child were almost $100 with tip tonight. We came specifically to hit the specials. We may think twice before going again. read more

Looking for a good Thai restaurant read reviews on line. My wife is a duck freak and they had a crispy duck on the menu. They had my favorite dish Singapore Noodles and they allowed me to raise the heat level on the dish. We started with Duck Spring Rolls. Everything was cooked well and well presented. Staff was friendly and kept the food coming. Reasonably priced. A little difficult to find but worth it. read more

Beware of false charges on your bill. Among items I ordered online were spring rolls at $5. When I picked up my order, it was $6. When I pointed it out to the hostess, she said she didn't know anything about it. Then I looked at the take out menu. Again it was spring rolls at $5. Also pointed it out to hostess. She said she would inform the manager. I told her it wasn't about the $1 difference but it was the principle of the thing - if you're going to advertise prices, then that's what you should sell it for. At no point did she offer me a refund for the listed price. Not good to cheat customers. Very disappointing business practice. read more

I have eaten here about 6 or 7 times now, always getting better. The sashimi and sushi are delicious, fresh, and they offer really interesting rolls. The 1st few times, yes they were discombobulated, but they are organized now. They even deliver! And try their Thai soups! read more

Fabulous sushi restaurant. Been going there for a year and a half at least once a week. The ambience is not the greatest But the sashimi and sushi is wonderful. Alex is the greatest imaginative chef, along with his cohorts zoey and jun and Danny ,they are a great team . Sakura roll is the best. Great uni when available. My husband and I love Thai food but when our favorite place wasn't open we decided to order take out from here. The sushi was good, but the Thai had no spice and the tom Kia soup had no flavor or spice and really not much of anything in it. I don't think I have ever left a restaurant review, but I wanted to save others from this place. The food is admittedly pretty good. However, the service and management are atrocious. Here's the gist. Arrived at 6:20 with husband and two kids. We were one of about 6 occupied tables in the restaurant at that hour. Started off OK that waitress came to the table after we had only waited for about 5 minutes. We ordered simple drinks...sprite, tea and sake and an appetizer of spring rolls. Twenty minutes later, the same waitress walks up to our table, welcomes us to the restaurant, apologizes for the wait and asks us if we would like to order drinks. We told her we had already ordered drinks and appetizers about 20 minutes earlier. She looked flustered and said she would go get them. When she returned, we told her we would like to go ahead and give her our food order. My daughter ordered a sushi roll, husband ordered 2 sushi rolls, other daughter ordered shrimp and I ordered chicken. Time elapses and elapses. Other tables that came later are getting their meals. We are wondering what is going on. She comes by, and we ask her about her food. She says it is on its way out. She brings out one plate with my daughter's sushi roll and husband's sushi roll and puts it in the middle of the table. We thought it was odd, but they just dished their meals off onto side plates. 15 minutes later, there is still no sign of my other daughter's shrimp or my meal. We see her at a nearby table and flag her down. We ask when the rest of our meals are coming. She said she thought we ordered those rolls as appetizers. We told her we already had appetizers, and that these were two of our dinners and the other two have yet to come. She looks totally deer in headlights. We tell her we are anxious to get food for our 10-year-old who is now very hungry given that it is now 7:45. Another waitress/hostess/manager walks over. She asks if everything is OK. We explain the situation to her. She says she is sorry. Mind you, she does not seemingly do anything about it but says she is sorry. The original waitress comes back and says our meals will be there in 10 minutes. Our food finally comes. Then, as we are finishing, a manager walks over. He tells us that he is sorry, and that the situation is his fault because it was the girl's second day and that he had not adequately trained her yet and that she is overwhelmed. He repeats that he is sorry and tells us that he will ensure we have a better waitress or that he will personally wait on us the NEXT time we come...which is at this point utterly ridiculous. and hollow and totally insufficient. We were to a point that it was late, our evening was ruined and our dinner was totally unsatisfying. At that point, I want more than a weenie apology...I want a free appetizer next time we come (not that we will go back) or a free dessert or 20% off my check. However, we got a hollow and seemingly insincere apology. Then, we sat and waited even longer for our check after we told him we just needed a check so we could leave. He comes back by the table and realizes my exhausted 10-year-old has not eaten the shrimp (since my husband and daughter had fed her out of their meals after a point.) He offers to box it up. He says he looks forward to seeing us again. I have HAD it as this point, so I told him that there would not be a next time for us. I told him his hollow apology was not seemingly genuine or an adequate service recovery. Now that it was 8:40, I told him that all we wanted was our check so we could get the heck out of there never to return. He brings the check back. He brings the shrimp back and practically threw it on the table. All in all, it was a TERRIBLE experience. The sad thing for them is that we are actually locals rather than vacationers, are new to town, love sushi and eat out a lot...with a little service recovery, we could have been great customers. So, if you are willing to have good food and horrible service, this is your place. Otherwise, go actually enjoy your evening elsewhere. There are a lot of great options for eating in PVB that mean this place is utterly skippable. As I write all this, I forgot to even add that a bug walked across the booth, and my daughter swatted it away with a pillow that was on the back of the bench...it's sad when a nasty bug is the least disturbing thing that happened at dinner. :) read more
