Absolutely amazing sushi and sashimi courtesy of Chefs Byron and Stephen! I recommend sitting at the intimate sushi bar, chatting with the chefs about what you like, and enjoying their amazing creations! It's a delicious experience!

Great food, great service. Great experience. Absolutely delicious! I'd definitely come back next time there's an opportunity.

    Amazing Sushi Rolls

This place is the best Sushi that I have had in North Florida. The rolls are a great size and are always as tasty as they are beautiful. The presentation of these rolls is 10 out of 10. The staff is great and always friendly and welcoming. It's a great space for dinner or very good choice for lunch as well. I have had some of the hot Thai dishes and they are very good as well. Love this place, you should definitely come to PVB and try them out!

Make sure to sit at the sushi bar and ask for chef Byron. He's so knowledgeable about sushi and he is obsessed with Japanese cuisine. Very friendly staff and server. I love this place and the fish is always fresh.

I've order take out from this restaurant a couple of times. Time to pick is solid, every time I walk in the place is so clean and full of patrons enjoying dinner. This Friday did not disappoint, I order at rush dinner time and food was ready on time. Waitstaff was super friendly and helpful. Our dinner was so delicious. Sushi and fish quality was pretty good! Food arrived as ordered. No complaints. They have an amazing rock roll, which is a our favorite. Also their tempura is so super crunchy and tasty. The only reason why they don't get a 5 stars it's because I have not have dinner at the place per se. But highly recommend them!

Having recently taken over Pacific Fusion, this location of Kamiya86 is really just getting up and running. Compared to its sister restaurant in Jax Beach, this one is much smaller and it lacks the interior design aspects that make the Jax Beach one feel like you've been transported to Japan. We ordered the mixed pad thai and three specialty rolls. The food came to the table quickly. The pad thai was ready just a few minutes after we'd ordered, making us question whether it was made fresh. When it arrived at the table, it had a very fishy smell to it, perhaps due to the shrimp. The beef was also very low-quality and served in large chunks, making it difficult to chew. The rolls were presented beautifully. The Mango Tango roll was the best of the three. While the lobster roll was good, The ratio of sauce to roll was too high. none of the rolls were as cold as I like them either. For now, I think I prefer the Jax Beach location of Kamiya86, for both the ambiance and the quality of the food. Maybe this location just needs a little more time.

Pretty good sushi! Pretty expensive depending on what you order but not bad for fancy dinner!

Mee ka thung w/beef and shrimp (upgrade charge $3), banh hoi, 1/2 lb of crispy roast pork, beef sticks, with drinks. Sprite and Vietnamese coffee. Mee ka thung: 0/5 do not recommend. It was bland. No taste. No charring of the noodles. The egg was overly cooked and we added that as an extra. The shrimp and the beef tasted off. It was fishy. Banh Hoi: 1/5 would recommend. Only good thing was the sweet fish sauce it came with. The pork belly was meh. Didn't have flavor. Tasted not fresh. Not crispy. Crispy pork belly: 0/5 do not recommend. The pork belly wasn't crispy. Tasted like they had it out for awhile and basically warmed it up when we ordered. The skin wasn't crispy. It was chewy. No flavor. No nothing. Did not taste fresh. Beef skewers: 0/5 do not recommend. Again, no flavor. No fatty pieces to counter the dryness of the meat. Nothing. The worst part. There were no pickled veggies. If they knew their skewers were dry, they should definitely have pickled veggies to off-balance the dryness. The only 2 good things that were good was the Vietnamese coffee and the fish sauce that came with the banh Hoi. Service was mediocre. Had to grab our own silverware from a near by table. Had to ask for plates. Had to ask for refills for our water. They didnt come around to check on us. We actually to wave them down. I don't live in the area, but even if I did, I wouldn't be back.

He mentioned wait times for tables, so I chose a Tuesday evening to try to avoid the crowds and it worked as I was immediately sat upon arriving. There are QR Menus on the table and my server directed me to view there. I spotted the Tokyo and was intrigued by the Ajitama Brûlée (signature torched seasoned soft boiled egg). What I Ordered: - Tokyo: For $16.95, I thought this was reasonably priced and excited to try as reading reviews raved about the umami flavor of their ramen. Without exaggeration, this was a life-changing ramen. The best ramen that I've had in my life!! The torched egg was genius and added a beautiful texture to the rich, and flavorful broth. The fried chicken thigh was a delicious protein and cooked so well. Honestly, every ingredient was crafted well and combined to make such a beautiful bowl. - Lychee Martini: What better way to toast to life, then with a martini! The popping bubbles were not my thing, but the flavor of the martini was delicious. I can see why many suggest trying it. This is my 1900th review on Yelp, and I couldn't pick a better place to review and RAVE about my experience. If you are in Jacksonville, RUN don't walk to this location for a stunning experience as it's a gorgeous location that is very cozy. Though I didn't wait, I definitely would to have a Tokyo Ramen again!

During our visit, a manager engaged in repeated personal interactions with my guest that felt outside the bounds of typical professional service. While I understand that friendliness is part of hospitality, the frequency and tone of these interactions became uncomfortable and detracted from the overall experience. After the visit, I brought this to the attention of the business directly in the hope that it would be acknowledged and addressed. Unfortunately, I did not receive a meaningful response or any indication that the concern was taken seriously. I'm sharing this here so others have a complete picture when deciding where to go, and so the business has another opportunity to reflect on how customer interactions are handled. With more attentive management and clearer boundaries for staff, this could be a much stronger experience.

The vibe is fantastic and the staff matches it perfectly, friendly, warm, and attentive. We went twice in the late afternoon and never waited for a table, which is a huge bonus for a spot this good. The small plates alone are worth the visit. The Katsu Sando Sliders feature crispy chicken katsu on soft potato bread with fresh cabbage, katsu sauce, Japanese mayo, red onion, and sweet pickle peppers, every element working in perfect harmony. The Potato Korokke was equally incredible, perfectly crispy on the outside and filled with katsu fried potato and vegetables paired with katsu sauce and Japanese mayo. The Gyoza were perfectly crispy Japanese fried chicken dumplings, and the Harumaki was a great addition too. Everything fried here is done with real skill, the crunch is always there and never overdone. If you love spice, the KakuKara Ramen is an absolute must. A rich, creamy sesame broth made from chicken and pork stock with Japanese hot sauce and red miso, it is spicy, deeply flavorful, and completely addictive. Loaded with pork belly kakuni, homemade pickled peppers, cabbage, cilantro, green onions, and sesame seeds on those perfect curly noodles, it is everything you hope ramen will be. If you prefer something milder, the Katsu Shio Ramen is a beautiful classic, a delicate Japanese sea salt and dashi seasoned chicken broth with shiitake mushrooms, katsu chicken, red and green onions, and the most wonderful onsen tamago custard egg that takes the whole bowl to another level!
