    Edamame & 2 lava rolls
    Carrie B.

My daughter and I ordered take out from Kamiya as we wanted to have a lazy night at home. We ordered 2 lava rolls and edamame. The food was ready when we arrived, chopsticks, soy sauce and napkins were already in our order. Once we arrived home, we thoroughly enjoyed the sushi. The fish was extremely fresh, it melted in our mouths when we ate it! Not all sushi travels well, this did!

Love boat for 2! So beautiful and delicious!

After the brief post-Covid hiatus, Kamiya went back to being my favorite sushi place! Always awesome!

I LOVE this place! They have the best specials with and amazing quality sushi with the perfect rice ratio. I found it recently and now go weekly.

    Nigiri

My boyfriend and I have made this our date spot on Wednesdays. We specifically come for the nigiri, it always taste so fresh and mouth watering. Today we also tried the crab rangoons which were pretty good, seaweed salad which was great and we had a spicy garlic edamame. Zoe took care of us and we love her! 10/10 recommend

Spacious, comfortable and relaxing dining experience. Food is great tasting and fresh. Customer service is excellent by owner and staff. My favorite sushi restaurant in Jacksonville this far!

Delicious and fresh tasting sashimi. Mini Toro bowl and sashimi deluxe hit the spot for this picky sushi eater. Definitely a must try if you're in Jax beach

    Best clear soup ever

My go to sushi spot at the beach. Good lunch specials and great happy hour. Sushi is always fresh and service is great. This restaurant has tons of seating and is great for large groups. Although everything I've had here is delicious, the eel and avocado roll is the best I've had and the clear soup is shockingly good and different from any other clear soup I've had at a sushi place. It's rich and has depth to it far beyond your typical clear soup. Check this place out, especially during happy hour. Note that there are multiple locations and they include different rolls at different locations for their lunch special.

Came here for dinner. It was very chic. We sat in a booth. We both had clear soup. My significant other had the honey shrimp with broccoli and a side of Fred rice. The kids shared a shrimp bento box. I had strawberry lemonade. My meal was yellowtail sashimi, a California hand roll and a black dragon roll that had eel and shrimp as well as avocado. It was all really good. My significant other had a roll with krab cucumber and topped with Jalapeno called the snow mountain roll. The food came relatively quickly. Everything tasted amazing. It wasn't busy at all. Just one large party and another couple in the restaurant. You could see the sushi chefs from where we were seated. They also have outdoor seating. I would definitely go back again.

    Pathetic steak and scallops

Kamiya 86 off Jax beach. Service was terrible. We used to go there all the time , even though their sushi price is "hyped up". This was the last time we would be visiting. $28 for overcooked few pieces of steak and scallops that was sliced in half and then into another to make it look like there's more than one actual size scallop. 3 (mediocre) rolls, bottle of sake(which was amazing), hibachi (comical. Initially my husband asked if he could have lo mein and server said "oh no it's just like noodles but not that good" ok cool well fried rice was probably the worst one I have ever tasted it ) and app (kamiya salad. Amazing no complain there) asked for manager and was told "manager is gone" $120. It's just getting annoying at this point of places are not even trying. oh and I forgot to point out that 3rd of what looks like steak is actually mushrooms. So it's even less steak than you see

Sushi for 2 boat well hell YACHT!!!

I personally wouldn't go back. Ingredients don't seem fresh. I ended up throwing everything away. There's way better sushi in the area.

Pretty decent Chinese take-out. Note 4 stars only in comparison to other Chinese delivery options,…read more since those standards seem low. Would be 3 against all Asian cuisine restaurants without delivery. I'll be honest, I haven't tried much Chinese in the Hodges Atlantic/beach area, because the reviews generally aren't great and pictures less than appealing. But I really NEEDED some Chinese, and I decided instead of doing carryout somewhere that looked better, I'd try delivery from what appeared most promising that would deliver to me... Hot Wok. Overall I was pretty happy and will definitely order from here again (but will occasionally try to find something I can call great). Firstly I appreciate that they have dinner combos at a decent price (main, pork fried rice & pork egg roll... you can change rice or egg roll type for small upcharge) because otherwise I have to pay a ton to get a main and something other than plain fried rice. Delivery service unfortunately took 1hr 20min, when they said 45min... on a Wednesday night at 7pm. It was the "bad winter weather" day, so maybe lots of people were ordering delivery? Guy taking my order was very helpful as I had lots of questions. Ok, on to the food. Kung pao chicken really good, great flavor, not at all spicy though, included green peppers, lots of celery & carrots, peanuts, couple mushrooms And baby corn (I ordered no onion)... I'm going to ask if they can add zucchini next time and maybe more peppers. Or try the szechuan cocker which they said had more green veg. Sesame chicken disappointing primarily due to how breaded and fried, too much heading and parts were really hard and chewy. Also only 3 broccoli florets, but flavor of sauce was good. Pork fried rice good in that not greasy like many places, rice itself low flavor but the pork was yummy and sweet (tiny cubes), plus lits of peas and carrots. Chicken fried rice was disappointing as was just chicken, no veg. Egg rolls pork & shrimp really disappointing, almost entirely bland cabbage...but fried well and the shrimp tasted really fresh which was a surprise. Homemade sour & souce sauce good. Enjoyed the egg drop soup, a bit of that gelatin thickness but not too much, no green onions if you're wondering. Crispy noodles come with soup are good, but I prefer the ones made of wonton wrappers. Overall I'll come back but will probably avoid the fried chicken dishes and get singe other appetizer besides egg roll.

I ordered quite a few things for delivery: including lo mein, hot and sour soup, fried rice, orange…read morechicken - altogether almost $100 worth of food. I threw almost half of it away. Tasteless. I usually don't do negative reviews but this is just a public service warning..

Especially enjoy the rice Turnip cake that reminds me of my childhood. They also have sticky rice and savory short ribs. Best seafood pan fried noodles on this side of town. The Cantonese ginger scallion lobster is the bomb. Paradise in your mouth. Service: Efficient food service to your table. I would come back for the experience but the quality of the food was mediocre. The best thing I ordered was the roast BBQ duck; not the juiciest but had good flavor. The turnip cake was mushy in the middle and hard/chewy on the edges; wouldn't recommend it. The beef rice noodle rolls had no flavor at all and it was ground beef for the filling instead of a compacted beef roll like a mini meatloaf that most dim sum places have. The staff was friendly and helpful.
