I like Sweet Sushi & Grill. Hubby and I went there the first time for dinner. It's a small cozy restaurant and the staff was prompt and friendly. We got our usual yellowtail with scallion roll and then tried a few of their specialty rolls. Everything tasted fresh and delicious. Some of the specialty rolls have too much sauce for my liking, but that's more of a preference thing which can be easily adjusted next time. Overall I am happy that there is a place close by for my sushi cravings. read more

I was in the area again so stopped by. Easy location to get to and plenty of parking. Super friendly folks and the complimentary appetizers are great. Came back to Sweet Sushi for dinner the other night and after this experience I had to update my review to 5 stars! We arrived are 7:40pm and got a spot at the bar planning on getting some Sake. Once seated we were given soup and not just one but 2 free appetizers. One was a Holiday Roll and the other was mean, avocado with a Pringle supposing it and they were all great. The staff is just always so friendly her and just happy to see people. You really can't beat that. Since it was late I knew I probably should get some more food and not just the free appetizers. I went with the Moon Roll and I'm so glad I did because it was great. I'm always a little nervous when I only get 1 sushi roll but this one was huge and with salmon, tuna, and snow crab it was right up my alley. So good and so filling this is a must to try if you like all 3 I listed above. I know we will be back for the amazing service but also because now the OMG Roll is calling my name. read more

Stopped in for the first time and Sweet Sushi and Grill became our favorite sushi and hibachi go to. There is inside and outside seating and we sat on the patio since it was a nice afternoon. The service was great and very prompt. They gave us a complimentary holiday roll to taste and it was so good that we ordered one for the appetizer. It was so light and delicious. The soup and salad were on point. We ordered the steak and chicken hibachi and everything on the plate, which was more than enough, was delicious! We especially loved that they also give you noodles. The main complaints are overall took too long and chicken was not good. This was my first time, for my visit on Sat. Jul. 11th, 2026. I went with my parents and a family friend, who had all been there before; parents said this restaurant was good. Since it was my first time, we qualified for a special complementary Holiday Roll. We proceeded to order, wait for our orders, but one in our party did not get her order until at least 5 minutes after the rest of us. I didn't time the delay; it could have been more. I felt awkward that we all had our orders except one of us. My father and I both ordered chicken hibachi, thinking it was a good deal because it came with soup, vegetables, noodle, and rice (can be substituted for extra vegetable). However, the chicken was too chewy. We suspect the staff used frozen chicken cubes and re-heated them. Even after taking home the leftovers, I could hardly eat that chicken since it was too chewy. I would have even preferred tofu hibachi but did not see that option on menu. I do not remember if salmon hibachi was on the menu; I think salmon hibachi was not on menu because I probably would have ordered that over chicken, after tofu. Additionally, my vegetables included onions and I don't like onions. I did not specifically say that I don't want onions, but the menu didn't say that the vegetables include onions either. I usually do specifically say to remove the onions when I order vegetables but the loud music distracted my focus. The music was from a nearby restaurant, not this restaurant, but it certainly was loud even inside this restaurant. The onions are not a big deal because I picked them out, but would have preferred to know of the onions included in the vegetables so that I could specify to prepare the order without onions. (My mother complained about the gross-looking pile of onions I made on side plates. Maybe the staff could have removed the side plates of onions sooner but I don't blame staff for mother's complaint, nor for including the onions that I did not know to specify to exclude.) Through all this, we did not receive the Holiday Roll. Though we did not order it, it was promised as complementary since I'm a first-time customer. I could have done without it, especially because of the wait, and I'm not fond of imitation krab either. But I did not decline the Holiday Roll because I did not know what it contained at that point; I assumed it's fine if it's free and I can refrain from eating it if I don't like it; the others at the table can eat it if they like it. I did not have a chance to ask what was in the Holiday Roll by this point. After we all finished eating and had finished paying the check, we were still waiting for the Holiday Roll. By that point, I asked what was even in the Holiday Roll, and found the answer was imitation krab. At that point, I said I don't want it, but my mother said she still wants it. Whoever wants the Holiday Roll or not isn't the point, because it was implied to come with the meal complementary, not to come afterward to-go. Finally, we received Holiday Roll by the time my father and I had already walked out but mother stayed to wait for the Holiday Roll to-go. So overall, the main problem is the chicken quality was not good. The delay for the order to come to our family-friend at our table is the secondary problem. The delay for the holiday roll is the least serious problem because we didn't have to pay for that and I didn't want it anyway, but the promise prompted my mother to wait for it. The mother waiting for the promised item was annoying. I would have rather done without the Holiday Roll completely than have to wait for the mother waiting for the Holiday Roll past the point that the eating was finished and the check was paid. If the Holiday Roll came before anyone was finished eating, I wouldn't consider that an issue. But the Holiday Roll did not come until after everyone had finished eating and some even had walked out due to impatience after the check was already paid and several minutes beyond. We did receive a cheesecake dessert complementary. We asked for a to-go box for that, did not get the to-go box. I carefully brought in my hand two small cheesecake slices on cupcake-paper to an empty food container we had in the car. I did not personally eat the cheesecake but my mother ate it and said it was delicious. Perhaps that was a compensation for the delay on the Holiday Roll? But it doesn't really even out, because the chicken quality was the main problem. I probably wouldn't have felt the need to write this review if the delays were the most serious problems, and if the chicken quality were excellent. We will not be returning because of the quality of chicken and a few inconvenient delays. Please consult the menu before you go to know what to order instead of chicken, if you're inclined to order chicken. read more

We had a great dining experience at Sweet Sushi & Grill! We just recently ventured into this plaza because my niece goes to the dance studio here. Pleasantly surprised at the array of options this plaza has to offer. At first glance: Typical looking sushi spot, not that big, every table was taken. (I've heard it was a local favorite.) There is also outdoor seating. Luckily, there was only two of us so we were able to sit at the sushi bar. Fine by me! I like watching them make their masterpieces. They were skillfully and efficiently plating nonstop. On the table: Asahi, Plum wine, complimentary rolls!! Yesss! We ordered the Love boat, where you get to pick a specialty roll. Someone recommended the Lobster General Roll: Lobster tempura, avocado, and spicy tuna inside. Crawfish salad on top. Drizzled with eel & spicy mayo. Yum! Hope you like salmon, because there was a lot of salmon on the boat. Sushi was fresh and delectable. Complimentary dessert too! They make sure you are full and happy! Room to improve: My only tidbit is that the corner of the sushi bar that we were sitting on was being used as a cleaning station. Second test is the mysterious "white tuna" which if truly white tuna would actually be albacore. Asked the sushi chef what the escolar was and he quickly replied "white tuna". Strike two. A friend recommended this sushi restaurant and we decided to come here for a date night. The interior is a little on the smaller side but it felt cozy and warm. We were immediately greeted and seated when we walked in. The restaurant was bright and clean! They put specials on the board so make sure to check it out! The service was immaculate! Oh my goodness! Our drinks were refilled when it was empty, dirty plates taken away after we've eaten, and our dirty napkins and straw wrappers were picked up! There were more than one waitress waiting on us as the others brought out our drinks, food, etc. They gave us a free miso soup, small appetizer and dessert! For the appetizer, it was 6 fried sushi pieces! It had crab and cream cheese with spicy mayo and eel sauce on top! We enjoyed this very much. For dessert, they gave us two fried Oreos with strawberry syrup and whipped cream on the side! This was sooooooo good! I literally inhaled it one bite! Here's what we had: Yellowtail and avocado roll: 7/10 - I love yellowtail but it has be fresh. This was fresh for the most part but on one piece, I could taste a slight fishy aftertaste. But the fish did melt in my mouth! It was a smaller roll but the rice to filling ratio was just perfect! Salmon and avocado roll: unrated - I don't like salmon but my husband does. It was so delicious and I could taste all the ingredients! The tempura shrimp was fried perfectly as well! This is one of my favorite rolls! Lobster general roll: 9/10 - This was my favorite roll! It had lobster tempura, avocado, spicy tuna inside, crawfish salad on top and eel & spicy mayo sauce. It was probably one of the best sushi rolls that I've ever had! All the flavors blended together so effortlessly! Definitely try this roll! Fancy eel roll: unrated - I don't like eel so I didn't try it but it had shrimp tempura, smoked salmon, eel, cucumber, fish egg on top. My husband loved this one a lot! He said everything was really fresh as well. I was sad they didn't have my favorite, Tamago (sweet egg) but it's okay! All the sushi rolls had an excellent rice to filling ratio! They don't skimp on the toppings or the fillings at all! We're sure to come back and try other things on their menu.
