Kam's Hair Salon ruined my hair!!! I went to Kam's Hair salon to have a haircut and do some internal layering because my hair is thick & long. After, I was trying to tell him that they are not even on the bottom. Instead, he said my hair goes to different directions, not even, blah blah blah. I had long & one-length hair with some natural curls, okay? You do not know what you are doing, Kam! And you are expensive, charging $45 for destroying my hair. This place would be great if the one person cutting hair/owner would actually be here. This is my 4th day in a row trying to get a haircut at this place. he's out to lunch he'll close up early or he'll open up late nothing is ever consistent with the times of operation. It's very frustrating as a customer who has a busy schedule and tries to fit a haircut in when I can. The hours of operation are clearly stated on the window but yet he doesn't follow them. I moved to the desert about 7 years ago and needed a place to cut my sons hair. Found this place on the website and tried it out. My son is very hyper so wasn't sure if he would sit still to get the hair cut, but Kam made us feel comfortable and allowed me to sit with him. The hair cut came out great and my son stood still the entire time. He's now 6 and still requests Kam to cut his hair. Even wants to donate his toys so other kids could feel as comfortable as he does (there's a box of toys in here for kids to play with). Now both my boys get there haircuts @ Kam's. While staying with my sister here in Victorville for a while, I was contemplating driving to my hairdresser two hours away in Orange County.... My sister mentioned Kam's salon which is very nearby. To say that I am particular when it comes to choosing a hair salon is an understatement... I lived in Milan, Italy for 21 years- otherwise known as the fashion capital of the world. They are famous for their style- fashion-creativity and yes-their hair stylists! Needless to say, I became extremely accustomed to pure excellence in this area. I was working on Italian television and it was neccesary for me to always be up on the latest styles and trends. I say all this to exemplify my apprehension on trying a small hair salon here while visiting. Nevertheless...off I went. Within the first few minutes of conversing with Kam- I felt so comfortable. He was born overseas and knew Europe well, which automatically provided a rich soil of common ground. I found him to be a great listener and most importantly- a really good hairdresser! He is wonderful with color and cut. His prices are very fair as well. I continue to go to him and look forward to our visits. I always get my hair cut here and I the last time I asked for a fade haircut and I don't know why the commenter named Joe said he didn't do a good job. Today I had the best experience. I needed my roots touched up, they were bad, and Kam did an amazing job. My father has been using Kam for over a year and has determined that Kam is a talented professional. My dad was so impressed with his abilities that he brought my mom in for a color and cut. The result was the best color and cut she has received in the 40+ years that they have been a couple. I've been going to Kam for 5 years and I've never been disappointed. He is very professional and advises me on how to keep my hair healthy. HIs ability to match colors and blend whether it's root touch-up, highlights or one color, he is fantastic. In the past, I went to other salons and wasn't as happy about the cut or color as I am with Kam. He doesn't try to rush or up-sell his clients. He takes his time and will make sure everything is perfect before you leave. He is a perfectionist.
