Practice was easy to find and located in the heart of Flushing so you can go shopping or grab a bite before or after. Arrived a little early to fill out the necessary forms and all and didn't wait long at all to be seen! We were there for maybe 5 mins before my grandma was taken to the first exam room for a round of all these elaborate eye machines, one of which was an ultrasound! Their staff was so patient with my grandma and didn't get frustrated at all despite needing a bit more time to get her position right to take a snapshot or whatever they needed to get the reading on her eyes. Everything is so clean and high tech it gave me confidence in their diagnosis/professional opinions. Dr. Wu saw my grandma after and accommodated her lack of English skills by replacing the eye charts with numbers so she could read them back to him in Mandarin. Great bedside manners and explained his thoughts in a way that made us feel more reassured in the direction we were leaning towards. Noon Vision also has a lot of eyeglass and sunglass frames for you to choose from. My grandma took a while figuring out which ones she wanted but did find one she loved! We will be back later to pick up the glasses and I can't wait to see them on her. I also did an eye exam myself (disclaimer: I had PRK surgery 7 years ago) and went through the same exams as my grandma but in a much shorter timeframe. Ended up not having any issues with my eyes so left with 20/20 vision and pretty darn happy. Will be recommending Noon Vision to my friends and family looking for their next eye exams!

They had not ordered them nor had they any recollection of my having ordered them. Wanted to charge me again for contacts and or give me a prescription to get them somewhere else. My down-payment was $380.00 for what was supposed to be contacts and readers with a inexpensive frame. I am hoping my review saves at least one innocent, unknowing person the hassle and wasted $$ since I was deceived by the positive reviews. I now suspect all the positive reviews are friends or somehow related to the biz owners. Trying to keep the review short and to the point: I paid $120 but they gave me the wrong prescription that were way too strong for me and even looked so much thicker than my old glass lenses. I voiced my concern but they adamantly claimed it was correct. I'm not a person to complain so I just paid and left but I had a gut feeling something wasn't right. I ended up taking my glasses back because it was unbearably too strong and my friends and family that wear glasses even said something is not right for them to be too strong and way thicker than my old glasses. The man and woman at the store claimed it was correct but if I wanted it fixed I would have to pay extra $70. I asked them to fix it because I rather spend $190 for correct prescriptions rather than waste $120 + spend more to get it fixed at another place. I ended up paying just $30 more because the new lenses they were planning on using for my fix that they quoted me $70 more for wasn't in stock. Wtf? So they just use whatever they have in stock even if it's not the right prescription for the customer? This explains why I needed it redone in the first place. The worst part is the "fix" was still way too strong for me to the point I can't wear it for more than 10 seconds without feeling my eyes are going to pop out the socket, probably because they used to wrong prescription again! I can guess it's because they didn't want to special order the correct prescription for me but still wanted my money so used the closest to my prescription they had in stock. I went to another place that fixed it for me and confirmed I was deceived and got ripped off. I decided to take the $150 loss since I wanted to save my mental health rather than argue with these terrible, dishonest biz owners since they're just going to deny it and tell me I don't know anything about glasses (that's what they said when I called them out, but I've been wearing glasses my whole life and never had a problem until I came here). The front desk staff and the optician were incredible - they were gentle, patient, helpful and thorough. They are multilingual and had a good rapport with my dad. They explained how the lenses work, how a lens is split up into different areas, and how he should wear glasses suited for his activities. When the glasses were ready a couple of weeks later, they called us over to pick them up. They then fit the glasses to his face and tested if he was able to see certain things.
