I am a returning customer and usually have good service at this location. Today was a bit different. I came over 30 minutes before close and instantly felt unwelcome by two of the girl employees working. I work in the service industry and understand people coming late, but 30 minutes is still well enough time to take an order. The lady at the register was very passive aggressive, making it known three times that they were about to close and how they "had a rough day." I wouldn't recommend the "Strawberry Shortcake Sundae". It says fresh baked everyday shortcake, not true. The shortcake came out of a small package & was then microwaved. It was dense & not tasty. ANDY'S ?! I'm sorry, I couldn't resist it. Those of you who've seen Pee Wee's Big Adventure know what I'm referring to. If you haven't seen the movie, no big deal. But what IS a big deal is Andy's delicious custard. Every drip a delight. You'll know what I mean about drip, especially if it's a hot day. Grab extra napkins and maybe have some wet wipes ready to handle the post cone apocalypse. LoL. I was sitting at one of the benches and happened to glance to the ground, and there before me on a canvas of concrete was a Jackson Pollock masterpiece. Drips from many a cone have combined to splatter a palate worthy of a wall in the Louvre. I had a small chocolate, and it was more than enough for this experienced licker. HOLY CUSTARD!! This was the best creamy custard ive had in the past 3 to 5 business days. One of the employees had gave me only one brownie, WHEN I ASKED FOR 3! This made me very hungy and made my tummy really angry. This did not help my PTS, so now I've been going down hill since then. So i went back today, and got triple Reese's but they only gave me DOUBLE! This makes me hungier than EVER. AND it was the same employee. We had a quick conversation in the drive thru just introducing ourselves and although it was a quick convo, I especially loved how pleasant her demeanor was. We bought 2 Turtle Splits. Between BOTH of them there was MAYBE 1 teaspoon of fudge. $16 wasted.

While the staff here are super friendly, happy, and excellent at what they do. The portion sizes do not match the prices. Andy's has great custard! We got the brownie sundae, a cone, and a caramel apple the other day. The prices were way too high for such a smaller serving. The place is nice and clean. The staff is great. Just the portion sizes are a rip off for what you get. A few bites of ice cream for 7-8 bucks is a rip off in my eyes. I would definitely come back. The quality is good. Service is good. My friend I both ordered the same thing only swapping out fudge for caramel. We get to the window to pay, my friend pays $6.90 I was charged $9.70. Make this make sense! I am a huge fan of Andy's. Quick service, but I recall this business used to be very warm hearted when it opened. Today, I used my card at this facility, and they declined it twice. I just used this card, so it's not locked, and there's a plentiful of money. I even checked my balance. However, instead of listening to me about the card being chip read only, the employee swipe it twice. No biggie though, I just shrugged that off. He asked if I have another card - and thankfully I did, but another employee came over and mentioned, "this isn't our fault. It's happening on your end. Get it fixed." ...There is nothing to fix. The employee did not listen to be about it being a chip read only card, not a swipe. And instead of listening, she came over to a conversation that did not involve her and directly said it's my fault. It's no one fault. Probably an old machine, and trying to swipe a scan only card, and that's it... But on Father's Day, that sassy attitude is unnecessary. I recall this is why I stopped going here years ago, because the employees have horrific dispositions. It's my father's favorite however, so, I wanted to make it a special day for him. The one employee was trying to problem solve with me, which was kind... the other person - the girl - should have left an interaction that did not involve her alone. However, she did not, got sassy without full information, and directly without misinterpretation blamed a customer. I understand the customer is not always right... but directly blame shifting and *refusing* to hear anything else is not a good attitude for a service where you're in the community. My dad did get his custard, and I'm glad he did. But... I'm going back to actively not returning here. It is heartbreaking this facility has stayed true to why I left all those years ago. read more

Andy's can be super busy sometimes but for good reason. They have amazing custard & I love their coke floats! Service is great and usually quick.
