What a gem of a find! It's super close to my office which is great for lunches. They have a good menu/selection. I personally do not do raw seafood so I love they have a great menu of veggie and cooked options. Inside clean. Prices reasonable. Really only thing that is annoying is when you order to go, you have to open the bag every time because they rarely give you a cup or little dish for soy sauce. The food is decent. Actually, the sushi is debt and the rest of menu choices aren't really that good. But the service is sooooo bad. incredibly slow even though hardly any other customers. I had lunch here today and it was incredible!! I had the miso soup, the salad with ginger dressing (was not a big fan of the ginger dressing, but I added some Yum Yum dressing and it was superb! The salad was huge. The star of the show was the Jumbo hand roll. I think it was the best sushi roll I have ever had and I have had a lot of sushi. First thing I noticed was that my spicy salmon role was not salty -- which was perfect. You could actually taste all of the ingredients. The ginger salad is a meal. It's not your typical small bowl of frozen iceberg with ginger dressing. It's a plate full of crispy mixed greens with fresh avocado and mango. Great reduced ginger dressing. Had a green dragon roll to finish. Again it was beautifully prepared. The laser thin avocado slices on top were a work of art. Server was great and she kept both the dishes coming and glasses full. Came here for the vegan sushi. Wasn't expecting a lot in terms of unique vegan options, so there wasn't much disappointment when the options were limited. We ordered the Veggie Spring Roll, Avocado, Mango Roll, Avocado, Cucumber Roll, Vegetable Combo Roll, and the Vegetable Dragon Roll. It was nice that they offered a brown rice/quinoa mix for the sushi, which we ordered as an add on. I'm pretty sure the sushi chef thought to themselves: wow this isn't that exciting to make because it's the same rice/nori/avocado in every roll with a different combination of carrot/mango/cucumber in each roll; because that's how we felt eating it. But, we left with full bellies, so - mission: accomplished for nourishment. While I'm sure there are fans of how they're (still) handling the strict COVID protocols, theirs seemed to be some of the more aggressive approaches I've seen in some time, and that's saying a lot coming from one of the most locked down states in the nation.
