    Linguini & Clams
    Nichole A.

Woooow!!! I had the linguine with clams and pancetta. Please do not take this off the menu!!! It was SO good. It was so packed with flavor. Perfect amount of spice, tons of class and a decent portion of pancetta. Its super filling, probably even enough to share. I loved every bite the first time and even of my leftovers. I could eat this dish every day. The gluten free pizza with pesto and chicken was also delicious!!! Staff was super friendly and service was fast. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Theres spots for kids to draw on the chalk board walls.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Its cozy inside.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]We came during the 1 day of snow....but the outdoor patio looks great for summer![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Will be back.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Kaos Pizza a great neighborhood place that gets outside seating ambiance correct.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Their service is usually pretty good and the takeout is usually 20-25 unless you order in advance. I always order the vegetarian pizza when I come here and love it. Someday I'll venture away from my go to order, well maybe. :) I think you need some good Kaos in your hectic life.

I've been coming here for years and can't believe I've never reviewed! We come here for the best mushroom pizza! Savory pesto, caramelized onions, shroom and cheese perfection! I love their thin crust! Service is great and [[HIGHLIGHT]]ambience is comfortable and laid back![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Back: spicy sausage. Always hits the spot. Front: Jan 2026 chefs special with kale, sweet bacon, artichoke. Delicious.

Favorite pizza spot in Denver. Top notch pizza and customer service her. The spicy ranch is such a great addition. Have yet to have a pizza topping combo I didn't like from here. [[HIGHLIGHT]]And the restaurant is cozy, looks like a converted home so we love it.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The chef and seasonal pizzas are bomb.com. Shoutout to the manager, Darren, for making sure we were taken care of.

The Spicy Italian Sausage Pizza came with a great kick.

The place itself already looks amazing. A pizzeria popping out of nowhere with fun decors in the middle of a row of houses. The garlic bread is perfectly cheesy with nice pieces of grilled garlic. The sauce is tangy but not sour. Pizza was fantastic, nicely thin, filled with rich flavor, and great to fold. The staff were so helpful and quick to take care of us. Device was very on point. We sat outside in the heated room, ambiance was fun and comfortable. 10/10, definitely don't miss this spot if you got a craving for a great slice. Parking is tough since it's street parking on a one way residential, so be warned.

    Kids Spaghetti

We tried this restaurant based on their website. When we got there, we stood at the front for a while until someone finally came from the back. He told us to sit anywhere. The restaurant was pretty empty. We sat down with our menus and I immediately noticed there wasn't a kids menu (there was one on their website). When I asked the server, he somewhat danced around about half portions. We ended up getting our daughter a half portion of spaghetti. I just found the whole thing weird. The pizzas were good but the server never offered to refill our water.

Second to saying yes, hiring the Duchess of Denver was the best wedding decision we made! From…read morespending hours truly getting to know us, to having all the right connections, to gracefully navigating a weather pivot on our wedding day, Alex surpassed every expectation. My husband and I knew we wanted to create a unique, beautiful wedding experience that we, our family and friends would cherish and remember. We'd wanted elements of a traditional wedding weekend but one that felt fun and not like every other wedding we'd been to. We also knew that, as a busy engineer and lawyer, we had very little knowledge about what goes into a great wedding and very little time or desire to learn the intricacies of "the perfect wedding." Alex spent hours asking probing and fun questions. He really got to know our visions, desires and quirks. There were so many times when we said things like "we want a dinner the night before, but not a typical rehearsal reception with people standing around at hightop in a bland conference room." He absorbed all of it and turned it into a fabulous weekend. Alex's encyclopedic knowledge about James and Rebecca was invaluable when my work got super crazy a few months before the wedding. When I told Alex that I could do big decisions, but the little ones, like choosing ribbon color or envelopes for invitations, were hurting my brain, Alex stepped in and planned everything based on what he knew about us. Alex found us a breathtaking space in the Penrose Room at the Broadmoor, he coordinated flowers to match my colorful dress, helped pick perfect delicious meal stations that suited a variety of dietary needs, organized the music and stayed on top of the hotel until their 3,000 square foot Parker suite opened up. Alex interviewed and found the best make-up artist, designed hand calligraphed journals for our guests, and created guest bags that with fun and useful things. I could go on and on! Alex's management of every detail meant the weekend ran smoothly and everyone was happy! He created a bowling night for our out-of-town guests and wedding party, worked with the hotel make sure family members with friction had rooms far away from each other, stocked our bride and groom suite with snacks and champagne, moved us us through the precise schedule of photos, ceremony and reception, and organized a fun and delicious good-bye brunch. When a surprisingly rainy June meant our outdoor ceremony space was a mud-field, Alex pivoted and redesigned a large alcove in the reception space to be a cozy ceremony space. So many of our friends and family have said that ours was one of the best weddings they'd ever attended. Ok, ok, maybe they have to say that, but in this case, I think it's probably true! We would recommend Alex to any couple, especially successful professionals who want to create a first class, memorable experience (but might now have the first clue of how do to it).

To start off we had no air conditioning in the bridal suite. We had two small fans that did nothing but push around the hot air. My mother over heated right before my wedding time and it was awful. One AC unit was downstairs and one in the groom suite. People (including John) assured me that things would be cool and that was not what happened at all. Also no A/C was moved to the basement after being used in the groom suite and after we requested it to be moved. It was blazing hot in the basement and we ended the dance early due to people getting overheated. Second Sylvia, who was supposed to do the elevators and anything else we needed, did not reply promptly to our requests and made it seem like we were an inconvenience to help us. We had to go find her more than once and we had to search for her. We had several people leave before our first dance in the basement because they didn't want to wait on the elevator and hold up the wedding. It was very very disappointing to myself and my husband. It was his aunt and uncle and others who left because his uncle had a stroke and can no longer walk. It took us over ten minutes to find Sylvia. My brother and stepdad had to clear an entrance for the elevator to be used. I would have loved to actually meet my organizer Katie face to face but instead she sent a lady named Aspen in her place (Aspen was wonderful but didn't know anything of what Katie and I had already discussed). I didn't let any of that ruin our night. It is a beautiful venue but definitely some things need to be improved. Catering was wonderful!

Sure....not allowing the attendants to walk side-by-side but they can stand next to each other? Huh? Attached is an honest to God seating arrangement. Who is at that single table? The officiant....and father of the groom! No matter, he can come sit with us! Not allowed suggests Hurricane Rita! She threatened to stop the party, to which I laughed. Her next move? She yelled at and pointed her finger at the server, Sandy, who moved the place setting from the single table to our table. Dancing? Sure, but only at your table with other people at your table. And you can't leave your table for anything. This petty rule can't possibly extended to the father/daughter dance? It sure does! What option do you have? It has a shabby chic vibe, heavy on the "chic" as there are beautiful chandeliers hanging from the ceilings and gorgeous gauzey drapes. It's counterbalanced with the bit of (still upscale) "shabby" aspects in the reclaimed wooden pieces, exposed bits of brick in the walls, concrete floor, and wooden barn doors. Moss offers an entire room full of jars, candle holders, decor pieces, and other accent items you can use for your event, so definitely do not sleep on that aspect of their venue, too. We visited Moss Denver in Autumn so the greenery that you'll see on the grounds was not yet alive and blooming, so consider that if you visit during the winter or fall months. I'm sure the blooms of Summer or Spring add a whole other aspect of the natural ambiance! Aside from the moss, greenery, and chandeleirs, etc - Moss is mostly an empty slate. So you can bring your own design and personal touches to your event pretty easily, which is so great in a venue when you don't want a cookie cutter look. So I recommend definitely at least checking out Moss Denver as an option for weddings, corporate events, reunions, or any other event that needs a nice, pretty malleable space that will work for most any event needs.
