I bought some science fiction magazines from the 60s and 70s for only 15 dollars. The issues were in great condition. I also collect old newspapers and they have a good amount going back to the 1800's. You can easily spend hours at this place. Employees are all very nice and knowledgeable.

To be honest, I'm not entirely sure whether these books are bought off the back of truck, or overstocks, or slight defects, or what. And I really don't care. These books cost $3.98 a piece. FOUR DOLLARS! When they moved in after the Halloween store left a year or so ago, they started off selling at discounts like 70-90% off. Now they're down to $3.98 a book, no matter the original cost, and these aren't used or crappy books. I've purchased Bobby Flay cookbooks, Salman Rushdie paperbacks, COUNTLESS hardcovers... If you're a serious reader, or just like to browse, you'll doubtless spend ungodly hours just walking around the store, checking everything out, and wind up at the counter with an armful, not even realizing how many books you purchased or how much time has passed. But you'll still walk out of there spending what would get you maybe a book or two at a larger bookstore.
