From day 1 they have been fair, honest, tell you exactly what's needed and how much it will cost - and will do the work efficiently and effectively. I have even been in twice where they will diagnosis the issue and will not charge (even if I insist). On top of their auto knowledge they also give free life advice which is often funny as heck - they both have a great sense of humor! He is the only mechanic alive that will tell you the issue straight to the point does the best, n repairs ur car better than new. My RS Camaro 2019 had a radiator problem. I live in San Diego...I came to L.A. to visit family... Karen and his son Onig are really terrific. I came into the shop 15 minutes before they closed today with a corroded and near dead battery. They cleaned the connectors and replaced the battery in no time flat. Years ago I drove into Karen's shop with a screw in my tire. It was flat and I had no mechanic in mind to help. Just moved to the neighborhood and was looking for a mechanic we could trust. We found Karen on Yelp and another mechanic who only works on BMW's so would not check out our Toyota Corolla recommended him. We went with our car overheating and the check engine light on. Also our door handle on the inside was broken. His diagnostics were very simple. He replaced our AC fan for a decent price and told us to change our gasoline cover. Apparently it was cracked and was causing our check engine light to come on. He said to come back if it comes back on but that it probably was just that. I know that if I would have gone to a major auto place they would have wanted to replace both AC fans and our entire gas lines.
