I had the luxury of time that day so I left it and took Uber home. Moses who is Jerry's son called to update me. Spoke with moses Thursday last week, gave me an rough estimate for a job on my car. Towing he said his guy will do it at no cost so dont worry. Friday morning took the car over there he said he need a few hours to get his other jobs done first then will look at my car throughout. Saturday called him at 12 pm he said what the problem was and he can get started on Monday. I told him that I needed to finalize the job in detail and sign off on it. We agree to meet monday. Monday morning I come in around 9 am, moses said to speak with his dad jerry. Spoke with him he said that he needed more time to assess the car he still has other cars to finish and said will check on it in a few hours. Come 12 pm moses calls says my car needs a valve job and its a certain amount. But he said that other parts and things might be needed and doesnt know what else will be needed until he take certain parts off. I told him that he said that he will check the car throughly to find out what is needed total and still you dont know?. Felt kind of sketchy at that point so i said i will come and get my car and didnt want to move forward with the job. Few minutes later the dad jerry calls me and says come get the car but you owe me 50 dollars for the initial tow. I told him that his son said the tow didnt charge them it was at no cost. He said its no cost if i do the job at their shop. I said i have the text and he didnt say that. Went their and told him that they lied, moses then said just take the car and go. Paid the 50 anyway because i needed a jump for the car to start so i can get the hell out of there. So much for the good reviews, now that i went through them in detail and if you really look at the reviews most of them are just saying that they have going there for while and no problems nothing specific about the jobs, shouldve noticed that. Probably bought the good reviews. No go for this shop but it cost me 50 bucks and they didnt even review the car. read more
