Don't knock it until you try it. Twice in one week. Seafood is very fresh. Mr Paul and ms Karen are such a great team. NO "KARENS" here they treat everyone EQUAL. The food and conversation on point. CLEAN (including restroom) AND NO HARSH SMELLS. The bar doesn't have fruit flies flying around. And glasses actually look like if you didn't have straws I still might drink off the cup , jk. But this place is really clean. Food was so fresh I had to blow my shrimp. I stumbled upon here after doing some shopping on a Saturday, And went that Sunday to watch the game. Lol. If you want a spot out the way and chill with good food. Try here. Shrimp , Singapore noodles(you can ask to alter spicy) Heck the boil was even fresh. YEA WONT SAY OTHER NAMES ,BUT THIS PLACE IS THE SPOT TO BE. Go visit this place and you'll always go back.

I paid $16.50 for what they said was a jumbo crab cake. Absolutely not. This is a Chinese food restaurant trying to sell Louisiana boil seafood it's OK but not the best.

Lucky find. I really thought I was gonna find a hole in the wall and instead I found a very clean large restaurant with good food and great service. The price was reasonable and the atmosphere was great. They even have a really nice bar, fish tank and would be great for large parties

I ordered fried catfish platter and it was delicious, well seasoned and super crispy. I asked for Cajun fries, but the had no spice... it was more like seasoned fries. I'll be going back and try other seafood and Chinese dishes.

I opted for the #6 Broil of Lobster Tail, Black Mussels, Shrimp and added Crawfish in a HOT Louisiana Garlic Butter Cajun Blend! Babyyy I'm trying to tell you it was finger licking good and straight fire!!! Run don't walk to Karen's hidden gem in the Fairland area of Silver Spring! Portions out of this world, I legit had a ToGo Bag of about 1/2 cuz I was stuffed to capacity. "I'LL BE BACK" *in my Arnold Schwarzenegger voice*

A little pricey for the lobster tail, especially cause they literally only give you one, but the flavors are indisputable!!

Menus and drink orders were brought promptly. I chose the fish tacos, and our server - Casey - asked if I wanted the fish pan seared or blackened. We had a discussion over how many chips and salsa were served with it, because my friend wanted some with his veggie burger. We learned that the amount with an entrée is just right - about two handfuls - so we each had some, with my friend's being a substitution for fries. I almost can't find the words to describe those tacos! The fish was moist, perfectly seasoned and generously heaped in each taco. Often, tacos lean heavily on the veg elements but these had just the right amount of slaw. The flavor of the fish was so delicate and savory. Honestly, one taco was all I could manage. Although they were street taco sized, it was so filling. I only ate a handful of chips; they were good but nothing special, as was the tiny cup of salsa. My friend said his veggie burger was excellent, and he enjoyed the bit of chips and salsa as well. He just had water, while I tried a Corona NA. The bill was around $56, which is very reasonable. There's plenty of free parking in the shopping center. Great service, good prices, excellent food - I'll go back!

We ordered a variety of dishes and we weren't super hungry when we arrived, but decided to share some apps and entrées. Surprisingly, even though we thought we ordered too much we ended up enjoying everything so much and did not feel stuffed - just had a small bit of food left over. The food is light and well seasoned without a lot of the heavy filler but portions are generous. Fresh ingredients prepared well and served with confidence. Also reasonable prices and we decided to splurge and split the brownie with ice cream at the end. This place never disappoints…read more I've been here multiple times -- with family, on dates, and with friends -- and it's always a great experience. This most recent visit was with a friend who was trying it for the first time, and he loved it. The food was delicious as always. He had the arroz con pollo (which I recommended), and I had the camarones al ajillo -- shrimp in garlic sauce with rice, salad, and plantains. Everything was flavorful and perfectly cooked. The bartenders were so pleasant and attentive. We sat at the bar, and even though it was crowded (which it usually is -- a good sign!), the service was still great. Now let's talk about the drinks because they were the real stars:    *   My friend had three mango margaritas and couldn't stop talking about how good they were.    *   I tried the cucumber jalapeño margarita -- you could literally smell the fresh cucumber as they made it. It did not hold back on the jalapeño! It had a real kick, but the flavor was amazing.    *   And the mojitos? Delicious. They use real sugarcane, and you can taste the freshness. Great vibes, great service, consistently amazing food and drinks. I will absolutely keep coming back and always recommend this place.

We were the last to leave but they didn't rush us or standing nearby like we were an issue or anything. Made me feel good, respected and appreciated.

The atmosphere was warm and friendly, welcoming and not pretentious, a mix of couples, families, and groups of friends enjoying a night out. The restaurant was bustling, the bar area was nearly full and while we did have a reservation, it appeared not to be absolutely necessary. Service was friendly, prompt, and informative.    I started with one of their craft cocktails and our server recommended a beer for my friend. The drinks were perfectly refreshing and a good start to our evening. When my friend saw they had oysters, this convinced him we had chosen wisely. We selected a mix of their oyster offerings. They arrived chilled and with just the right amount of condiments making for a tantalizing slurp to start our dinner. For starters, we selected the Brussels Sprouts and the Roasted Beet Carpaccio. The Brussels were perhaps some of the best we've had in quite some time, perfectly cooked and seasoned. The goat cheese on the Beet Carpaccio was very good, but for me, the flavor profile wasn't quite there, it needed a little more acidity. For dinner, my friend selected the Shrimp and Grits, and I chose the Argentinian Steak. While quite good, constructive criticism would be that the vinegar in the chimichurri, smothered an otherwise perfectly cooked, flavorful steak and the rosemary overpowered the roasted potatoes. The grits, while delicious, were almost too creamy rich, but otherwise a delicious blend of sausage and shrimp. For dessert, we shared the Key Lime Pie and the Carrot Cake. The cake was very good, but we weren't fans of the hardened frosting top, and we wished the Key Lime Pie had even more tart, lime flavor.   The portions were plentiful, the price point was reasonable, and all plates were wonderfully presented. The friendly neighborhood environment, atmosphere, and service all enhanced our dining experience. Definitely give them a try, we will return and look forward to it.
