Please save your time and money and stay away from this place. They sold a Jeep to my uncle, and after just two weeks, the car started having many issues. He took it back to them to check what was wrong, but they said they couldn't find any problem and were very unhelpful regarding the warranty. On top of that, we later found out the car is salvage, and they never disclosed that to him. This has been a terrible experience. I highly recommend staying away from this place. I had a very disappointing and frustrating experience with this dealership, and I feel it's important to warn others. I recently purchased a vehicle from them, only to discover shortly after that the car had serious issues, including bad brakes and a tire problem. These are basic safety concerns that should have been identified and addressed before the car was ever sold to a customer. As soon as I noticed the issue, I contacted the dealership and brought the car back in. They asked me to come in at 11 AM, and I ended up waiting there until 4 PM -- over four hours -- with no updates or communication. I had to repeatedly ask for information, and only after pressing them did they finally tell me that the car could not be repaired that day because the necessary part had just been ordered and would not be available until the next day. What made the situation worse was the lack of accountability and customer care. I was given only two options: leave my car there or take it back in unsafe condition. No effort was made to accommodate me, and I was not offered a rental car, even though my warranty packet clearly states that I am entitled to one. At this point, it feels like once the sale was completed, customer service completely disappeared. Selling a car with faulty brakes is not just unprofessional -- it's dangerous. On top of that, making a customer wait hours with no communication and then offering no real solution shows a serious lack of respect. I expected much better. If you're considering buying a car here, I strongly recommend you think twice and thoroughly inspect everything before making a purchase. Update: dealership illegally seized truck without my consent along with all my possessions including baby bed and clothing, work boots, work tools, laptop, licenses, chargers. Lender contacted and no buyback was authorized by them or us. They have fraudulently taken vehicle and mishandled paperwork. Disputes and reports have been filed with property state and government agencies and legal action to be taken. Police report filed. GPS has located the truck at their dealership even tho lender sent them check. All of our work and babies items are inside They will not answer texts, calls or emails, next step is lawsuit. We want our truck and possessions back. Purchased a truck. 4 days later it died. Took months to get them to take it back. Gave them a chance to do right got a new truck. They're still holding on to the title. They also claimed I made more money than I did. They need to make this right and release the title to us. Still haven't sent the title. Attaching texts to show they've been dodging it. They've been reported to attorney general, bbb, and va dealer board. Next step is small claims court. Never again. Yall can make this right. My daughter and son in-law recently purchased a minivan from Kargar motors of Manassas. Their dealership mistakenly collected taxes for Virginia while my daughter and son in-law lives in Maryland where the finance sheet has their address. We have repeatedly tried to get them to fix this but Kargar stopped answering our calls, don't return messages, or try to fix their wrong. We are going to open a case with the Better Business Bureau as well as report this to every state agency that has jurisdiction over tax fraud. This has been an terrible experience. Car was purchased a week ago with minor things that needed to be fixed so I was told to bring it here Monday Jan 19,2025 but unable to drive the car because it became a major issue and unsafe to drive when all of the engine coolant drained out due to a leak somewhere. Now they're saying there is no transportation for me to get back home . When explained I would need transportation to get back home because I live an 2hrs away. Don't recommend doing business here everyone seems shady and just trying to get a sale no integrity or honor or honesty. Highly disappointed. I also was there for 7hrs and called the main line several times just to watch them pick up the phone and hang it up while I was seated in the lobby. i will post a negative review on every platform until my situation is handled i Was told the car was in a minor accident And all was repaired. The car ended up at Chevy for a week due to repairs from an accident. Extensive frame damage was found during an inspection. Car was sold with a clean title come to find out it's salvaged. Dealer snuck in a price adjustment on advertised price. I was told they cannot do anything about it this is a $60,000 car that is worth a quarter of what I paid for I'm risking my state not registering it and my Insurance canceling the policy which risks repossession. i'm currently waiting on the next response from the dealership after I told them that I am suing them. I called and spoke with a receptionist three days ago (Friday) about scheduling an appointment to view a truck I wanted to come look at the next day with cash in hand. Avoid this place. After you take your vehicle off the lot they don't know you. My truck was taken back due to brakes to front tires rotors and breaks. It sat in their lot for almost a week and I kept giving the runaround that it was being worked on. For my surprise when I picked up on the 4th day. The only thing that had been replaced was the battery. I had to leave it another day for them to actually replace them And breaks in rotors. When I picked up the vehicle on friday they only replaced the tires to old used ones. These tires are as worst as the ones they replaced brakes/rotors and breaks not touched. Avoid this place. My wife and I visited Kargars today, actively looking to purchase a car. I sat in one of their cars that peeked my interest. I told a salesperson that I would like the keys so I could start it. She initially seemed startled and then incredulously asked me, "you want to start it?" I just looked at her for a few seconds because I was not sure what the issue could possibly be. Did I accidentally forget to take off my prison inmate uniform? About that time, another salesperson walked up, so I repeated my request. He asked me what my name was - not in the typical, 'lets get to know each other' approach of a used car salesman, but the suspicious 'who are you' kind of sound. In any event, I told him my name. He then asked me to come in his office. I asked why since I just wanted the keys so I see what the car sounded like. He told me that they have to take down my name and telephone number before they could allow me to start the car. Now I was incredulous. I thanked them and left. During my long, car-buying life, I have visited many used car lots and I have never I had a salesman tell me I could not start the engine of one of their cars without providing them with my personal contact information. Satan's dealership. TOTAAAALL SCAM!! I normally do not post reviews like this but Mike (Not sure if that is his real name but he was the manager. For identification purposes, he is from a somali descent) needs to get fired immediately for lying, deceiving and misleading customers. I almost got scammed for EIGHT THOUSAND dollars. I had been going to this dealership for the past few days in trying to negotiate a used car. After multiple trips, we agreed to settle at an out-the-door price. Multiple confirmations and WRITTEN documentations were provided by the manager, my credit was approved, and I was on the line with gieco to add the car on my line to speed things up. I was happy that I was getting myself a decent deal. Part of the package offered to me included warranty and oil change etc. However, little did I know that I was seconds away from getting scammed. While I was signing the paperwork, the management tried slipping in a few paperwork that suggested that WARRANTY was not included. This got me suspicious as we had discussed it was included. Upon questioning the representative, he tore the paper and said that it might have been a mistake, and not to worry about it. When I started reading the paperwork in detail, it turned out that I was being scammed by at least 8 THOUSAND DOLLARS!! The out-to-door price was nowhere near what we had discussed and what was provided to us in the documentation provided by the manager. The representative was urging for us to quickly sign the paperwork and leave because everything had been taken care of. This is absolutely absurd. This place needs to get investigated and I am going to pursue legal action against this dealer. This place is the absolute worst. I got a car it broke down within a week. They sent me to their mechanic turns out it was the fuel pump. Well that gets fixed 3 days later but they did however give me a loaner because I wasn't taking no for a answer. Well they call and say my car is ready I go to get my cat no car apparently the battery died and it takes a "special" battery so it never left the ship. The next day I get a call that they have to get me a another car which was by the way out of my budget. They agreed to take 500 off since I had a bad 1st experience. Well Today I get a call about a problem with my tags so I let them know that my engine light was still on so they say bring it so we can look at it. Well I get there the guy I can't remember his name says let's go outside and ask for the 500 in order to get my plates I say no so he then says my car is up for repossession and takes the 30 day tags off and takes my keys called the cops on me yes called the cops. No I couldn't leave with my car and no I didn't get any money back. They said the bank repossessed it but myself and the officer both heard the bank say their is no repossession on file. At the end of the call she ask do I owe them a down-payment. So this was all about this extra 500 that their salesman said I didn't have to pay because of the bad 1st experience. Ok, so here is the update... they did fix the lights; turns out there was short caused by someone leaving the trunk open in the rain which is apparently why there was about a foot of water in the wheel well in the trunk. They did not however ever fill up the gas tank. So we took delivery of a vehicle with no gas... even after getting it fixed when they could have taken it next door and filled up they didn't. The tire sensor appears to have gone out according my BF - I guess when they fixed the short, it fixed that as well... The dealer kept hassling me for a binder and I told them that when we got the car back and were confident that we were going to keep it, I would provide them with the binder but that there was no need to add it to my insurance if we weren't going to keep it. Another thing that came up... a major accident repair was not disclosed to us upon purchase, nor did it appear in the Auto Check report (recall that's what we got when we asked for the Car Fax). But, apparently my insurance agent, while adding it to my policy found that there had been a major repair for body work costing over 9K. That was hard to believe considering that is half the worth of the vehicle (new ones NOW sell for 18K base) - I thought if a repair cost that much that they would just total a vehicle. Anyway, the failure to disclose does not sit well with me, but again, it is the BF's car; asked if he still wanted it and he said yea... so, we still have it... I would have turned it back over tot he dealer and gone and gotten the other one of which I spoke in Arlington. Although I said I might bump up the star rating, because of the failure to disclose the major repair and car history I have to keep it here. Am actually tempted to drop it, but, they were prompt in repairing the lights and the little guy who did it actually seemed quite good. So there is the update... bottom line is buyer beware; but that's really applicable I think to ANYONE when dealing with auto dealers. If I had to do anything different, knowing now what I know, anytime I go to purchase another used vehicle, I will be calling my insurance agent first since they have no vested interest in the transaction and in this case, found what apparently the dealer and Auto Check couldn't. I purchased a 2014 f250 powerstroke back in mid February. I had asked about every question possible and scanned the pictures a couple times and asked if there was ANYTHING else I should know about beings I couldn't see it in person and I was told NO. They lined up a shipping company and we agreed upon a shopping price of $950 from VA to Bismarck, ND . A couple weeks went by and never heard anything from them so I called and they said the first trucking company showed up and jacked their rate up so the truck never got shipped. I again never heard anything for another week and called a couple times and the guy that handles shipping always seemed to be busy and I told them they needed to find a shipping company and NOW. I called to talk to my original sales man and he had QUIT! Finally they find a shipping company and the truck gets picked up and arrives 3 days later. I meet the shipping outside and help them unload the truck that had been trailered the whole way here. I give them the money for the shipping fee and drive the truck off the street into the parking lot. That is where I noticed the truck is missing the sunroof glass! I call them and tell them not to leave and go over to talk with them. They would not give me my money back and their boss then got on the phone and said if I get my money back they will take the truck and put it into a storage facility and I will be liable for fees to get it out. I called kargar and talked to the shipping manager and he told me it isnt there problem and to deal with the shipping company. The shipping company told me it isnt there problem what happens in shipping and I had to deal with the dealer. They then left and I found out later it would have been illegal for them to keep a vehicle that I had owned. I then drive the truck home and not 2 mins into a 10 min drive I have a check engine light on, low fuel pressure and it breaks down on the way home. After I get it towed I have a diesel mechanic hook a scanner to it and the codes had been cleared before it left the dealership. So they were aware of the problems but covered it up. List of problems: -Check engine light within 2 miles -Low fuel pressure in 2 miles -Never told about the broken passenger mirror. -Light bar didnt work Sunroof glass is missing -Taillight had fallen out -The box of the truck had a fifth wheel trailer dropped on it at some point and was smashed and repaired cheap! -the auxillay plug in the backseat council is missing -The driver side rear panel has a huge scuff -It is scratched around every single fender due to the truck having fender flares at some point. -the trailer plug is zip tied in and broke - the headlights dont work which they knew about because it didnt pass on the VA DOT checklist I was sent. -the cab lights on the top of the truck flicker constantly and dont work. - the tailgate dosnt latch like it should due to the box of the truck not being straight and you can see the lines of the body dont line up. - the manifold bolts on the truck are broke and its leaking antifreeze all over the bottom of the truck. Keep in mind I wasn't told ANY OF THIS!! I still had the phone number to my old salesmen so I call his cell and talk to him about the deal and basically he quit kargar because of all the shady stuff that goes on and he was tired of screwing people over. I call kargar and they were not aware of any of this and should have seen it in the pictures. Basically I have a truck that needs 15k worth of repairs to get it to a normal working truck again. I would NEVER deal with kargar motors no matter the deal. They are a bunch of crooked foreigners here to screw as many people as they can.
