    Cornbread w/burnt pieces. GET IT!

Hell yes to the corn bread and burnt pieces! You won't regret it. Freaking amazing! Only served Thu-Sun

Lovely area in the back for small get togethers

I was introduced to Claudio, the owner, by a coworker and he allowed me to host a small friendsgiving in the back of the bar. The location is great with decent parking outside. Everything was very clean and with the pool table in the back, it makes it a very nice place to hang out. He already had a nice playlist so that I didn't have to connect my own phone for music. My guests loved their drinks and kept telling me how nice the place was. If you ever want to host a small shindig for adults, Karl's Beacon is the place :)

Soo good! Reasonably priced drinks (cheap by today's standards) and great food! The burnt ends were amazing! Can't wait to try more food here.

My buddy is a regular and knows the team that works here. This has been our go to place when I visit. Beers on tap, full bar, cocktail program, etc. Pool, darts, etc. Events - Bands, live music, etc. Happy hour available. But we always meet late at night as he is just too busy during the day and still has young kids. Atmosphere - Decent size neighborhood bar. Full bar, cocktails, wine, beer, etc. Quiet for a Friday night, which suits me just fine; actually, I prefer it that way. Open 7 days a week from noon till 2am, and we closed the bar, as usual (Yelp hours differ slightly). Events - See their website. Dart league, pool league, etc. Service - Good, not sure if she recognized me as a "regular" or because my buddy who is a regular and showed up later. Always able to open a tab or pay as you go. FYI - Free BBQ on select Sundays and munchies on select nights. Price - $80 + generous tip. Yes, we drink a lot. And could have even drank more. Actually very reasonably priced for SF, considering how many drinks we got today. Just noticed that I can buy pitchers?!?! That might save me a few $$ in the future, lol. Owner Comment - Congrats on your success since 2013; we have been day one customers. And will still continue to be.

Round1 Bowling & Arcade in San Francisco is a large entertainment complex that combines bowling,…read morearcade games, claw machines, karaoke, and other activities into one space. We walked into a spacious layout with a strong focus on the arcade side, featuring a wide variety of machines ranging from classic games to rhythm games and prize machines. The space feels more like a full entertainment center than a traditional bowling alley, making it a place where groups can easily spend a few hours trying different activities without getting bored. The biggest draw is the arcade selection, especially the claw machines and prize area. There is a large variety of machines with different difficulty levels, and it is easy to get pulled into trying just one more attempt. The prize selection adds another layer to the experience, especially for anyone who enjoys collecting plushies or novelty items. We found ourselves wandering between the rhythm games, the racing simulators, and the claw machines, with each section offering something a little different. The arcade section can get busy, but the amount of games available helps spread people out, so it rarely feels overcrowded in any one area. Bowling is available, but it feels more like one part of the overall experience rather than the main attraction. We played a few frames and found the lanes well maintained, but if you are specifically looking for a serious bowling night, there are other dedicated bowling centers that may offer a more focused setup. Here, bowling works best as part of a bigger group outing where you can mix in arcade games, food, and other activities. The lane availability can vary depending on the time of day, but the pricing is reasonable for the area. The food and service are more mixed. The menu provides convenient options for staying inside during a longer visit, with standard arcade fare like pizza, fries, and drinks, but wait times can vary depending on how crowded it is. Staff interactions are generally helpful, and employees can assist with things like claw machines or game issues when needed. The service is efficient enough, though the focus here is clearly on the entertainment rather than the dining experience. Round1 works best as a casual hangout spot for friends, families, or groups looking for a variety of entertainment in one place. The arcade selection and combination of activities are the main reasons to visit, while the bowling and food are better viewed as additions to the overall experience rather than the main focus. It delivers exactly what you would expect from a large entertainment complex: a lively atmosphere, plenty to do, and enough variety to keep a group engaged for a full evening.

After 3rd try I got a stuff animal and my friend also was able to get one. Spending amount for $160. I realized the 3 metal prong claw actually rigged. I was able to grab the prize moving the claw open prize dropped. There claw is sure rigged. they don't hold tight if it did hold it will let go while moving. 2 stars because I got 2 stuff from the trip. Will try other games- they have bowling pool etc. Very noisy and lots of kids and teenager. I also observed no one watching the floor. One rider starts the moving car ride and others must be his friends climb all side. Not sure who they are. While it's moving all teenage would tugging on it. All I can say we cannot have good things to play with. Will give it another try in Hayward location this week.
