Old carpet on the floor, the table and linens looked very basic, basket on the floor for my clothes-it didn't feel special to me at all. He literally worked out knots in my shoulders that have been there forever and paid careful attention to my neck. I had a 90 minute signature facial. The facial was overall good. This is the first facial I've ever had they I didn't get any extractions. Maybe it was because I didn't need any? The only thing I didn't like was at the end I thought she was putting on a moisturizer. I knew my face felt a little tacky but I thought oh it's just a thick moisturizer. Well I got into my car pulled down the Mirror and my face was orange. The last thing the esthetician put on my face was foundation or a bb cream. It definitely didn't match my skin tone. I had a one-hour prenatal massage with Lydia last week and could not say enough good things! Lydia was on time and very kind and caring. Once I was ready and under the covers, she made sure my pillows were adjusted in the most comfortable way (which is tricky when you're 6 months pregnant) before she got started. Throughout the hour long massage, she checked in to make sure I was happy with the pressure, which I was. Getting massages during pregnancy can be a challenge with all of the extra precautions that need to be taken, but Lydia made sure I felt pampered and relaxed. I came here for a prenatal massage. It was reasonably priced and completely amazing. I asked for a guy because they aren't afraid to crush your flesh when you ask for max pressure. He was very skilled and the pressure was very intense and felt great. He was particularly skilled about the back and shoulders which was just what I needed. I'm Yelping about a body massage? Aright, I guess I'm doing that, now. Umm, I like body massages. I have no problem getting naked on a table and having a stranger rub me down. Having said that, I do prefer them a certain way; I like to be beaten up a little, something deep in the muscle to work out those tough knots ... basically, I like to come out tenderized so the pain I had turns into mild soreness that melts into some form of normalcy the next day. At Karma Spa, at least with the only massage I had here, I kind of had that, but not much more. Alright, from the beginning. The place is very posh, clean and beautiful upon entering. The ceilings are high, giving a spacious and open feel that is very welcoming. Lighting is dark, candles, crystals, shining pebbles, and waterfall fountains add some tranquil atmosphere. A small waiting room with a soft couch and magazines helps pass the time until they call you to your room. I got The Vice-President package, which started off with a 60 minute massage. My masseuse wasn't bad, standing on my back and using the railing above for leverage. This is where my need for a strong and forceful massage comes into play. For many, as long as you are very clear on what level and intensity you are going for, you won't be surprised, leave unsatisfied, or injured in the process. I myself was fairly satisfied, though I wished she had spent more time on my shoulders. I think part of this stemmed from the language barrier between us, partnered with the masseuse's need to stick to a specific program. Still, it wasn't bad, a bit better than average, and the oil they used didn't make my skin overly greasy when all was said and done. After that, I opted to skip the Vichy Shower (those damned traitors) with Fruit Skin Conditioner, and jumped straight into the Sauna Session. This was my favorite part of my package, as their sauna facility was very clean and well kept. There was fresh water to pour on the heated rocks, allowing for a healthy blast of steam when wanted, and was exceedingly relaxing and peaceful as I was the only one there. It ended way too soon, my masseuse pulling me out after what felt like only 10 minutes. And then we ended with a Body Detox. I was taken to a large room where a sign warns that there will be "NO SOLICITATION OF PROSTITUTION" and you "DO NOT ASK FOR SEXUAL FAVORS." This was on my mind as I lay back and my feet were put in a bubbling tub. After 15 minutes, apparently all the bad chemicals had been leeched out through my heels and my session was complete. This was the bizarre portion of my stay, where I get the feeling they just selected a specific color, pointed to it on their detox chart, and marveled at the water when it was done. It felt like one of those snake oil shows where they try to get you to believe that magic is happening (the water is alkaline, so it helps cancel out the acids in your body!). So, in the end, an alright massage, not too much to write home about, a pointless foot soak, and a stint in the sauna that was way too short. I'm sure my experience would have been better if I had chosen a different package, but even as it was, it was still alright. I may come back again in the future, and I'll be sure to tailor it more to my liking. read more

I've been here a couple handful of times and it took me a while to find Jack. He is hands down (no pun intended!) the BEST masseuse I've ever had. I only request him. I have a spinal cord stimulator implant in my chunks and I've had him enough times that he knows where to not massage me on my lower back. He always gets my shoulders and neck much looser and he knows his stuff! I literally leave feeling like a cloud every single time! I can't recommend this place enough! Two stars because receptionist was great everyone was nice and spa was clean and nice however I don't like getting a massage with the masseuse using her forearm for the entire massage. Now I don't know if this is done due to her being overworked and her hands hurt but I wouldn't doubt it. But it does not feel good. I got a gift card as a bday gift to do the CEO treatment. I was so excited to do this, I scheduled it with a female. I walked in and the place looked nice. My masseuse met me in the waiting room, but didn't say much. I thought she was just quiet. After my massage started I was sure this person did not have much experience. I really should have stopped it then, but I felt bad. While working on my back, she climbed on me and sat on my butt to massage my lower back. I've never experienced that. While massaging my legs, I was conscious that she was not going up too far up my leg. When it was turn for the sauna, I realized she did not speak English because she just handed me the robe and towel. I put on the robe and held on to the towel. She walks in and says no, and tries to sign what I am supposed to do with it with signs. We go to the sauna room that 240 degrees. There is only one spot in there where you don't feel your nostrils burning. Vinchy shower is on a flat shower bed where you practically lay naked. It was an experience. The final step, I honestly had no idea what it was until we were done because she could not communicate. She just showed me a cardboard with colors. I thought I had to pick something but it was a detox chart, that showed me what I had detoxed from. Needless to say, I was very disappointed. Not going back. read more

This place is GREAT! - Easy to make an apt online (same day avail!) - GREAT prices ($39/hr for first time 60 min massage, and only $50 for 60 min massage after that) - Great Massage - I got a 60 min deep tissue and boy did she get in there. The whole 60 minutes was full-on deep tissue which is hard to find, usually I'll get roughly 45 mins deep tissue and then they'll get tired/ back off -Accommodating - I'm sure they can't do this every time but I ended up getting off work later than expected, and didn't get into the massage room until 15 mins past my apt time. They still gave me a full 60 min massage instead of cutting it 1 hour from my actual apt time. read more

This was my first time getting a facial... ever. I did not know what to expect but I was pleasantly surprised. The place looks super clean and modern. The rooms are cozy and the beds nicely warm. They have a machine on one side of the bed that blows some steam on your face - to make your skin softer and easy to work on, I assume - they use multiple products to clean, exfoliate and hydrate; as well as a face & eye massager to stimulate the acting power of the products applied. Very nice! After the extractions (not as painful as I was expecting), Patty used a "high frequency" machine to kill the bacteria and prevent swelling. The machine makes a loud, scary noise but it does not hurt at all. While she let some products do their thing, she would massage my hands, arms, neck & shoulders. I never felt neglected for the entire 60 minutes. To finish, she applied a tinted moisturizer that evens out your skin tone and adds a nice glow. I loved it! My face still feels and looks radiant 3 hours later. It's nice to point out that the products used do not have offensive scents. Everything is very mild and pleasant. I loved the tinted moisturizer and lip balm that she used that I ended up buying some to bring home. Price is reasonable for 1 hour session = $61 + tip. Most places charge the same for 30 minutes only. Very happy with my experience! read more

The place is really pretty from the outside and check in. The massage was good, I liked how she didn't talk bc some some like to talk and it's like you want peace when you get a massage. The table was hard and it made my lower back hurt bc of laying on my stomach so long on an uncomfortable bed. She didn't understand what package I paid for so the service was a little discombobulated and I think it went backwards in order. But it's okay I'm not one to complain I just want to be honest. Very disappointed. I purchased a massage for my fiancé today and I also did a hot stone add on for an additional and even paid tip as well. My fiancé just got back from her massage and said it was practically the worse massage she's ever gotten. She said that masseuse just started massaging without the hot stone treatment so she tried telling her that her fiancé paid extra for the hot stone treatment. The masseuse did not speak English and she had to leave the room to grab the girl from the front desk. The girl from the front desk comes in The room and tells my fiancé that I didn't pay for or it even though my account was already charged for everything. So then the massage starts and she said the masseuse was extremely rushed and seemed like she was in a hurry. She explained it as no effort was put into working the specific muscles that she wanted and it was just a bad massage overall. After awhile the girl from the front desk comes back in and apologizes and tells her that the manager DID see that I paid for the hot stone treatment so THEN they started to heat the stones up mid massage for the treatment. We booked a Swedish couples a massage. We ended receiving Thai style massages which we very rough. They did a great job getting any tight muscle relaxed but left me extremely sore for several days. We wanted a nice relaxing massage and felt a bit beat up when we left. If you are looking for a Thai massage this is definitely the place. We also requested CBD massage. I REALLY wanted to love this place but my experience wasn't that great. I did a 2hr hot stone couples message. After the ladies came in the room to Start the massage I had to request that they turn down the lights because they were extremely bright and definitely not a relaxing mood. They did turn down the lights but then there was a significant amount of noise anytime they were working with the hot stones. In addition the massage was rushed and after turning over on my back they only massaged from my knees down and nothing else was done. I did mention this to the receptionist and she gave me $10 off of each massage however I was just really disappointed. I am familiar with hot stone massages and how the hot stones should be used.
