In all fairness I was referred to this place because of its long standing reputable service. I do have mechanical background and the only reason I brought my car to a shop is because I no longer have much time to do repairs on my own car and I don't own a code scanner. I had a check engine light on my 2008 scion xd with no apparent symptoms. I brought it in and had to leave it over night because it was the end of the day. The next day they called me back with the news of my #2 ignition coil being faulty. Their suggestion for repair was to replace the coil and change the spark plugs. I gave a verbal go ahead and I picked the car up the next day. Now I am not going to point fingers and wreak havoc on this whole establishment because any garage can have its own bad apples. But it only takes one to ruin a business' reputation. I suspect with the two sets of handwriting on my repair order that my car may have been passed on to a novice, green horn or just someone else for the diagnosis and repair without me knowing. I was referred to a specific gentleman and I expected him to do the work. Four months later, my car presents a misfire that almost gets me into an accident. I had stalling symptoms and almost got rear ended at an intersection by the car behind me which skid pretty far to stop just inches away. I could have been pushed into the middle of an intersection! With no immediate money for a mechanic I decided to tackle the problem myself. Since it's history was with a faulty coil I started inspecting all my ignition coils and spark plugs. To my surprise, all my ignition coils were still stock, the #2 ignition coil was never replaced and my spark plugs were still the same spark plugs I had installed before. Today I just replaced the #2 ignition coil and all the spark plugs. The car ran normally and I deduced that whoever worked on my car only reset my cars computer clearing the check engine light. I paid $308.00 for the service that was never done. BE CAREFUL!KNOW WHO WORKS ON YOUR CAR AND HAVE THEM SHOW YOU THE WORK! I suspect a shady person here. I hope whoever did this has been fired! read more

Troy was very reliable and offered him a reasonable and affordable price as compared to other shops. As soon as the car's problem was fixed, my dad got a call right away to go ahead and pick up the car. Overall a job well done! There have been no leaks or anything. Jun is your main guy to deal with, but rest assured he will give you an estimate that is cheap to bone, he charges me 25 bucks for a oil change for my car, and extra 4 for my truck... and zero for anything small fix. I have taken my car here twice, and both times I have received excellent and honest service! The first time was for an engine light check. When I asked Troy about a service that a tire place highly recommended to my car, Troy told me that it wasn't needed and that it was a waste of money. The tire place was trying to sell services that weren't needed to get more money out of me. This second time I went I wanted major maintenance which included tune-up, timing belt, and water pump. They worked all day to get the job done and even stayed after closing so that I could get my car back on the same day! This extra mile service is greatly appreciated and I would highly recommend this trustworthy shop!
