I too experienced a couple times when an appointment had to be rescheduled due to an emergency for another customer. In both cases, I got a call ahead of time asking if I minded allowing them to take care of someone without heat or water first, and the delays were minimal. I found them very professional and caring, and I am glad to be a client they will take care of when I have an emergency. I have had several conversations with Cathy and I found her to be a very open and caring person who was willing to work with me on my needs and offer her experience to help me through a complicated remodeling project. I will continue to use her comapny as long as I live in the Capital District.

After about a week of waiting I called the office and was told that the person who runs the quotes had taken a few days of leave and was behind on the quotes. I've now called two other times, and each time was told that the person running the quotes was behind. They assured me they would "let her know I was waiting" but were never able to offer an idea of when the quote would come. It has now been almost a month. They have sent me so many spam e-mails asking me to leave a review that I've decided to oblige them. They might have great plumbers who do excellent work. I don't know. That's only part of working with a plumber, and this kind of delay speaks too poorly of the rest of the operation for me to feel comfortable working with them.

This morning I called requesting help with our aging mini-split a/c system and was told they would no longer provide service to us as a result of an incident that occurred last Fall when driving past the owner's house. The workers they hired were installing electrical conduit and a box truck in front of us stopped before starting again. My wife and I, with our two dogs in the car, began to proceed. I assumed it was safe to proceed. The truck suddenly stopped and the reverse lights came on, so I blew my horn, knowing they could not see us behind them. Suddenly, the two workers startied screaming at me, cursing and calling me names and verbally abusing me for proceeding. My wife and I were very shaken up by this and called the local police to report this violent behavior. I am extremely upset as well as disappointed that this company would turn their back on me as a customer. The only reason I am giving them two stars is that we have always been satisfied with their work. Knowing that this is how they operate, I would never even want to use them again. They actually should get 0 stars for treating a customer in such a way. EDIT: to be clear, I never said the workers who verbally abused us were employees of Bradway Plumbing. But it is Bradway Plumbing who we just discovered will no longer do work for us. There is no misplaced blame, other than Robert now trying to blame me. I guess he thinks we should just accept being verbally assaulted and cursed at by the people he hired to work on his house? Maybe he should have spoken to the people he hired about the incident. Their response was almost immediate with technicians to address both a plumbing and heating emergency; a furnace failure which had resulted in a frozen pipe to burst causing catastrophic damage to our entire home. Within hours Mike had found and repaired the broken pipes and faucet and Josh had the Peerless furnace up and running allowing the Servpro team to start their remediation work. From water tank leaks/replacement, furnace / AC issues, water softener installs he is my go to. He is thorough with his troubleshooting understanding root cause before replacing parts. He always explains everything that he is doing and where the issue is. As a female, i appreciate that he doesn't talk down to me which many repair companies do on repair calls. Rob is also very cost conscious for the consumer. He tries to do the fix as affordable as possible without compromising quality. I've never had a call back for the same work. He is honest and trustworthy. Right now, I have a furnace that is on its last leg. He has repaired it in hopes that it makes it to a point where costs come down for me. Not many companies would continue to do that, but Rob does. Highly recommend him for all of your HVAC needs!
