Based on our conversation, we agreed on a purchase price, and I was told to come to the dealership to complete the deal. When I arrived, it was clear there had been little to no communication internally. They didn't have my name, phone number, or any record of my appointment. I was even told there wasn't anyone there by the name of Theo, and one employee stated that "Theo" is simply a name used to set appointments. After being asked to come in for what I believed was an agreed-upon transaction, I was then told I needed to wait for an inspector and start the process from scratch as though I had simply walked in off the street. That was frustrating, especially since they were the ones who had pursued me and encouraged me to cancel my other deal. The front desk employee I dealt with, Stephanie, was the most disappointing part of the experience. I found her attitude dismissive, impatient, and unprofessional. She came across as though she didn't want to be there and acted as if helping customers was an inconvenience. Instead of trying to resolve the confusion surrounding my appointment, she made me feel I was the problem - when in reality I was there because their representative had asked me to come in. After dealing with the lack of organization and what I viewed as poor customer service, I decided to walk out. Management later called and tried to convince me to come back, which I appreciated, but at the same time they defended the way I had been treated. By then, my confidence in doing business with the dealership was gone. FYI, this place was packed with people who looked desperate for someone to approve a loan. So sad.

Richard was committed to helping me get approved for financing even though my credit was not good (ex friend got her car repossessed and it was under my name) I was able to drive away with the car after 5/6 long trying hours. One thing I will say: when I took the car for a test drive I noticed a "side door open" dash sign on and i didn't think much of it. However when it was time to drive off the side door sign was still going off and wouldn't turn off even though I slammed and gently shut the door. This ended up causing the battery to die overnight. I had to jumpstart the car and replace the battery myself. I was so worried I was sold a lemon but it was on me for not pointing out the warning sign. So let this be a sign to not ignore ANY dashboard light or any concern from a car! Richard had offered to fix any problem that occurred within 30 days but of course it was Memorial Day weekend and Richard responded on Tuesday. I didn't have time to wait for his response so I had to figure out the problem and attempt to fix myself as I had work on Tuesday. FYI: The "side door open" is a common issue in ford transits, I discovered. It's due to a sensitive door sensor and there's an easy diy fix to it that I had to YouTube about. Had the car about 2 months and no other issues have come up.
