During the service I requested to have my eyelashes tinted as well. So my services were: - eyebrow wax - eyebrow tint - lash tint I usually have this service done elsewhere, however, my place does not open until next week. The price of this service at my regular place is $50 I could not locate any pricing prior to booking my appointment and they have no material saying how much these services cost at the location either. The total appointment was no more than 30 minutes. Afterwards I was brought out to the receptionist who charged me for the services. I am not joking when I say this and I know it's going to seem unreal because I have told a number of my friends the cost and they just laughed: $210 dollars! I thought it was some kind of mistake... but nope $210 dollars and Janet said that was at a discount! I would not recommend coming to rejuvenation! My husband and I will not be back! I still cannot believe that this is real and my suggestion would be to stay away. I purchased a Groupon believing that I was buying Full Arms as a large treatment area - which is how the merchant themselves lists it on their own website. Instead, when I went to redeem, I was told that Half Arms is considered "large" under the Groupon deal, and Full Arms is "extra large". This is a direct contradiction between what's on Groupon and what the merchant promotes on their own site. That inconsistency is not just confusing, it's misleading - and it changes the actual value of what customers are paying for. I felt misled and disappointed when I realized the service I thought I was getting was not the one being honored. Transparency is essential, especially in the beauty and self-care industry. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this business and encourage others to double-check directly with the merchant before purchasing. See attached screenshots for proof of the discrepancy. Update: After escalating my case with Groupon, a customer support supervisor personally reviewed the issue and issued me a full refund back to my original payment method. While I still feel the merchant's listing was misleading, and note that the merchant themselves was unhelpful and unresponsive throughout the process, I do want to acknowledge that Groupon's customer support team ultimately stepped in, took responsibility, and resolved this fairly. When I went to my doctor for a physical, they asked if I went to the emergency room for my injury. I have booked appointments online that have not been accepted and I've called on the following dates (all outreach has been ignored): 4/9 4/4 4/3 3/25 3/14. 4/11- call was terminated twice. 4/19 I've texted on the following dates: 2/27 4/3 My next steps are to file a consumer complaint with NYS, contact the Better Business Bureau, and reach out to the local NYC consumer reporters. At this point, I need a refund as Tasha is not going to honor her end of the contract. I wish I took more photos to document the level of bruising, however I didn't realize that Tasha would not follow through on her end of our contract. In hindsight, I should have been weary about going to Ardor when my first appointment wasn't cancelled on 6/7/2023. It was unsafe to be outside as the City was Orange due to the Canadian Wildfires. Her space is very tiny, so the smoke entered the office. Even my gym cancelled classes on that date.
