Traditional Chicago bar. My kind of place. Dark wood walls, long bar with plenty of TVs to watch games. Good overall alcohol selection and of course they had Malort. Bartenders were nice and attentive.

Great local institution in the heart of Printers Row! Service was amazing and very fast. Good crowd on a Saturday afternoon, great music in the background and overall a true gem. Pro Tip: Kasey's is Chicago's 2nd oldest bar.

Amazing vibe, 10/10, great bartenders, solid tavern style pizza. Got carded three times in one visit tho, but good for them.

Krazy thing about Kasey's is that I lived a block away from it for 4.5 years. Whenever I walked past, during evening hours it always looked overly packed and Im not a packed dive bar guy anymore lol. I was hanging around in my old hood Printers Row on a Thursday afternoon around 2pm, visiting a friend who lives nearby and thought it would be a good time to experience Kasey's as everyone I know thats been have always had great things to say about it. Walked in and maybe 7 people was there. A very cool woman by the name of Kelsey was working the bar. Its your normal neighborhood dive with all the good liquor, decent beer selection, TVs with games on and its daytime regulars. They had Hubbards Cave Coffee n Cakes so I had to partake...love that beer!!! They serve pizza but its a frozen pizza they throw in a pizza toaster I believe and its pretty good actually. Kelsey told me she doesnt recall the brand but they have it specially given to the bar. Not bad! Had a crown and ginger to round out the visit. As I left, I felt terrible that I never stopped in during my time living in the area. I like this place.

Great people, great conversation, great staff. We're local, so the folks at Kasey's have become like a second family to us. And Kasey's has become a second home.

We stopped into Kasey's for a Friday afternoon beer. They had lots of different sports on TV. I enjoyed watching some track and gymnastics. We got an amber ale and a German wheat beer. Both were solid! The service was a little slow, but no big deal. We had a good time hanging out here.

Really chill neighborhood tavern with really good pizza and sports screens. Service is a bit slow but not a problem in a tavern. The pizza is VERY good though. !!

    Nosferatu on draft.

We were in town for a show (King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard, if you're curious) and were looking for some place to grab a drink. We found Kasey's Tavern on Yelp and popped in. Super charming place. Great selection of beer, both craft and big beer and spirits. Great Lakes Brewing's Nosferatu was on tap, so, of course I got it. The glass was beer clean, and the beer absolutely perfect. If I lived there, Kasey's would be my go to!!!

Found this bar with a good atmosphere and prices, where getting both is rare around here. It's in Printer's Row close to a few hip and more expensive places. Kasey's Tavern only has drinks, but they have tons of these. Get something for almost any preference, hard or light. There's lots of local beers, many versions from famous and less famous liquor brands, and wines. A good place if looking for just a drink. I've been here a few times and have gotten quite a few things that other places have but sell them a lot more expensive. This is certainly one of the cheapest bars around here. Especially for its location that's quite an achievement. It's about $6 for the cheapest liquors. Most others are only a buck or so more expensive than that. Find something for almost anyone. Lots of local beers on tap. They even have lots of wines. Be divey or fancy. There's also lots of TVs so it's a good place to watch shows and games. Better when it's not as crowded. It's one of the few bars around this area that are open very late. They have pretty much just drinks and not really any food except maybe having some frozen pizzas.

It's a neighborhood spot that we had frequented multiple times. You won't be rushed, but you'll have to be persistent if you want a drink at the patio. There's signs to order from your table but it depends on the staff that day. We tried multiple times to flag a bartender to order a drink. Even after they acknowledge you and confirm they'll be back for your order, you'll have to just be persistent and go to the bar. When you go to the bar, they're too busy to acknowledge you or take an order. You can stand there for a while while they chat up customers or their co-workers.

I think there were some kind of corporate happy hour happening in the back, but a friend and myself just came in for quick drinks. I usually don't drink on the weekdays, so I ended up just getting an iced tea and him a tequila soda, but because I don't drink, we decided to get an appetizer and we browsed the menu for a minute and ended up splitting the Parmesan chicken egg rolls. Truthfully, I really just wanted to see what that would entail because it seemed a little disgusting or maybe even some kind of high-food, but to my surprise, it was actually a really crispy skinned pizza roll. I'm pretty sure it had been previously frozen, but in that moment- served with a side of marinara, I didn't really care. It was full of gooey melted mozzarella cheese and almost like a breaded chicken nugget center. Pretty decent as far as bar food goes. They also had crab rangoon to which I thought, "hmm are they doing a little too much?!" I'm sure drunk me would have gotten them years ago so what can ya do. Overall, quite a positive experience. The bartender was really sweet and everything wasn't super expensive. I've been in the neighborhood for such a long time, but I've actually never been here and I'm glad I came on a night that it wasn't chaotic.
