The waitress explained things easily so the service traits you well. The ambiance has music, but it's a little loud so you have to scream so they can hear you. The mocktail is like a little strong, but I think it's because of the cranberry. I didn't like that I ordered a salad without chicken, and the amount of lettuce wasn't too much. It was decent, but I'm just not used to eating that quantity. The hamburger with fries was really good! However, they gave scary prices just for 3 persons!!! That's the thing that I hated, but you can't complain because it was a special Chinese meat or whatever Wagyu is. Now I'm complaining at Yelp.

Let me just say, this spot is pretty dope. This is a husband and wife owned establishment that's nicely decorated and designed. The owners are very nice and personable, which just makes the experience even better. I came in with like 40 minutes left on the happy hour (4pm - 6pm) had two old fashions (they use buffalo trace) and wings (6 whole wings) half Oso bbq half honey habanero. Select apps and all cocktails were just $10 each. The wings were very good, very crispy (similar to a Korean style) not overly seasoned but I do wish they had some more flavors or something spicier. I did also get the waygu burger (pretty damn good) which was great and fries which were hand cut. The vibe is great with great musical selection (lots of Rnb, some hip hop and not too loud). It was the night of the NFL season opener and it wasn't too busy but they said they got busy last year during Bears game (they play the sound of important games). I highly recommend this place, it's great for any occasion (I took a date). There's outdoor seating and it's right next to Alulu brewing. Give them a try, they deserve your business. I know I'll be back for sure, maybe even become a regular.

I usually come in for happy hour grab a drink and a salad for dinner. The staff is cool and very courteous. Great place to watch Monday Night Football!!

Stopped in with my husband for a quick bite and a drink. Well..the drinks were so good we both ordered another round. Staff is friendly and the owner was there making the mean cocktails. Food came out hot and it was *chef's kiss*..The only thing I would change is the lighting, but it is more of a sports bars. It just felt really lit up in there. Style preference that's all. FIVE STARS.

Pork belly bites are already good, but they are fye when eating with the Caesar salad.

The food is delicious. I started off with a Caesar salad, and I am a salad lover, it was nice creamy with crunchy croutons very flavorful. I'm not really hamburger person, but the wagyu burger is definitely a must try. It was good. It was creamy and had different flavor flavors popping. The steak and frites and The pork belly bites were both delicious, but I'm adventurous so I would suggest to eat either one with your Caesar salad. Those combos will not disappoint They have wide screen TVs so all you have to do is Grab a PBR and a shot and chill. The service was excellent Brandon and Roxy are great host. They talk to you about the food. They talk to you about the drinks so you'll definitely feel welcome. The ambience is so personalized you will definitely know you're in a Chicago sports lovers space nestled in the Pilsen neighborhood, because the walls are dripping of unforgettable Chicago sports memories and milestones. Great experience!

There were a lot of TVs all around the bar, so you won't be tilting your head back to watch the game from any angle. Our server was new, but she did a great job with taking everyone's orders and also being very upfront about saying she will ask about the drafts on tap so she can give us an accurate drink selection. The food from Theory never disappoints. Last year, I had the Theory Burger and was delighted by how good it was. This year, I tried the Challah French Toast and it was pleasantly delicious. The Mac and Cheese was also a solid choice, and for $8, they provided a good amount of food! And that Chicken Parm Egg Roll...wow they were so good!! I was skeptical from the name, but this was like having a pizza roll but in egg roll form The only reason I am giving this place 4 stars is because Theory has severely up charged for the Champions League. I recall last year a reservation was $5/person, but this year they charged $15/person. For this reason, we came in at 9AM opening time for an 8-person table and were able to get one without having to pay the reservation fee. I really like how organized Theory is though, as a sports bar. Service has always been great and I may come again for another game!

We saunter up to our chosen restaurant only to find a sign on the door that says, "closed for private event." Did I mention I was hangry? My husband suggests Jake Melnick's. It was within walking distance ... did I mention it was raining that night? And I was hangry? I was game for anything at that point. We arrived and waited probably four minutes for a table. A couple of the adults ordered a beer, the others ordered a Coke. We ordered a large pretzel and our mains. The pretzel was so good. All the meals were outstanding (a sliced brisket sandwich, some wings, chicken tenders, onion rings and a burger). Service was great. It was a little loud when we first arrived as there was an intense Illinois State basketball game on but as soon as the game ended, it was much quieter. We really enjoyed our meal at Jake's!

We made a reservation at Over/Under. When we arrived, there weren't a lot of people yet and we got seated quickly at a table already set up with our name on it and lots of fun swag. We each received 5 drink tickets and 2 meal tickets. In addition to the fact that we wiped the floor with Kansas, we met some really nice fans from Chicago. They made our visit so much fun, filled with endless laughter and a great time. It was a nice mix of young and older folks like us and the young people were so respectful and friendly. It truly was a pleasant surprise. They gave us their bar stools with backs so that we would be comfortable. I don't know if Steven David, who we also met there works for the bar but he was funny as all get out. He says he's a comedian so if you're in Chicago, look for him at a comedy club. The owners were very friendly and we appreciated chatting with them too. We didn't get to our second meal or order half of our drinks bc we were having such a good time so we gave them away. It was over March Madness, so there were always men or women's games on the televisions. Besides being a happening place, there was also decent food. Upon our check-in, we even received complimentary bubbles as a welcome drink in the Game Room. For one of our dinners, we decided to enjoy some Game Room food while I taught my friend how to play chess. We then each ordered the Chicken Caesar Wrap, consisting of crispy chicken, romaine lettuce, parmigiano Reggiano, and house chips. We both upgraded our chips to French fries. I thought the food was good (not excellent but not bland like other reviews stated). The best part of the experience is the vibe in the space. There were also protests in the area earlier in the day so many of the non-hotel guests in the Game Room were from that (as we could tell from the signs they had with them). Even if you go to the Game Room website (https://www.gameroomchi.com), you're in for some fun just getting into the website. There is also Happy Hour on weekdays from 3 PM to 5 PM, which include $10 wings, Old Style combos, and half off pitchers. While there were more exciting places to be in Chicago, for a hotel guest or someone in the area, this was a fun place to hang out, grab a bite, play some board games, and watch some games on TV. Certainly recommend it!
