Totally incompetent service technician sent out to repair our LG Signature double oven. We…read morerequested fixing a loose heating element in our top oven and to trouble shoot and repair both ovens since they don't heat up properly. This was articulated to the service rep on the phone prior to the service call. First problem, they showed up at our home without letting us know when they would be coming. We never received a call to set the appointment up as promised. We weren't at home and had to reschedule. Second problem, we were told we would be charged $99. Our top oven with the loose element was all he addressed by first grumbling and complaining that the screw sockets were stripped and he didn't know if he could fix it. He proceeded to try and used a drill screwdriver to reattach the element. It took him all but 10 minutes to fix. Charged $189.00 saying he had to travel 25 miles therefore he had to charge more. This was not mentioned on the phone when I told them where we lived saying that wasn't a problem. Next issue, he refused to address the problem with both ovens not heating up to temperature by saying I said "Oh, I wish you would have told me that before I came out" which I did. 1. He stated that recipes are often wrong and that the oven was not the issue (without checking anything) 2. He said not to use an oven thermometer to check the temperature since they don't work properly (without checking anything) 3. He said don't ever use the self clean option on the ovens to use oven cleaner instead. 4. He stated it might be the electronic board which would cost between $700 to $800 not worth it (without checking anything). 5. He told me to just turn off the circuit breaker and leave it off for one hour that might fix it (without checking anything) 6 I asked about LG's procedure for recalibrating the ovens and he said that doesn't ever work (again without checking anything). Very frustrating and total wasted $189 with ovens that still don't heat up properly. Never follow LG's authorized service technicians suggested by LG because they are a total rip off. NEVER AGAIN will I use Tony's Appliance Repair or will I purchase an LG product. Our dual range was purchased in 2021 for $3300 is a very disappointing appliance. LG does not have a service center in our area therefore they could not send someone from LG.

I called the answering service, after hours and provided my name and information. Under no…read morecircumstances did we discuss work prices, contracts, etc. and I was under the impression that they would call me the following day to discuss scheduling work on my washer and pricing. Next day while I was working I received a Ring notification that 2 men were entering my house, telling my daughter they were there to fix the washer. She had no idea it wasn't prearranged when I immediately FaceTimed her. She was uncomfortable with them in our home when she was alone, and frankly so was I. She also communicated they were incredibly rude to our pets. I had no idea they were going to charge me a service fee for showing up unannounced or the fact they were even showing up at all, since I was working. They charged me over $100 that they wanted me to pay- immediately, no prior notice or discussion about the cost of estimates. They also wanted to charge me over $300+ for just parts, not to mention labor to fix my washer. I refused and figured it to be more reasonable to purchase a whole new unit. I told them I got pair on Thursday and would call in the payment for the service. While I was still at work on Thursday midday I received multiple calls and texts to make a payment, which I found to be pushy, rude, and inconsiderate- as again I was working and they hadn't even given courtesy of scheduling an appointment in the first place. The problem with the washer was rectified through another individual who determined it wasn't in need of $300+ in parts, but instead just was being filled too much for a load. The washer works perfectly fine and honestly needed nothing. This company is a rip off. Their customer service is awful, pushy, and dishonest in their business practices. I'd recommend avoiding and calling in a novice or a neighbor, at least they'd most likely be more knowledgeable or honest in their dealings than this company. Highly disappointed as someone I knew recommended them.

I'm somewhat surprised about the number of frustrated customers. I wonder if maybe not enough…read morepeople who had pleasant experiences are reviewing. Also, sometimes, people's expectations might be too high for what they had to put out for payment. One person expressed frustration about masks- and that is certainly understandable if there was no reasonable effort to do so by the respective technician. The service repairman I received was excellent and really knowledgeable. To make sure a screw would not be misplaced, he left it attached to a broken piece of plastic from the fridge container. When he came back on the second visit, it was immediately visible and located in a jiffy. He's very good with people, general surroundings, and for the one I had at random, we seemed to have a decent amount of hobbies in common. Would be lucky to bump into him in a social activity outside of this context. This is a reasonable enough company for working with with a warranty, and I'm so glad I had the warranty and a fridge issue that was manageable on my own until he arrived on two separate occasions. The typical wait time is 2 weeks right now. If there's a super emergency repair and you can't do enough of a "fix" to wait it off, it might be worth it for you to contact a more local fridge repairman and shell out those dollars!! I suspect that as a result of what is probably cheaper rates overall for the customer, there aren't as many staff who are working with Fast Appliance and they cover such a huge area. Right after the first visit, I was texted a link to schedule online. I could not schedule online and that is handled through the phone through a middle man and probably because over the phone, they can consider geography more. There's no point to offer the customer an option to schedule online if the link can't actually be utilized. A closer look at the reviews, and at least one reviewer said she used the online system when it was working. She wasn't aware that she had to be aware of types of appointments and this actually caused more hassle than efficiency. So, understandably, this company can't be bothered with super techy stuff to completely remove what was already attempted and instead just close the link itself or not allow for customer to schedule even though it seems to be no longer used (and for good reason, I'd say.) With noticing this change now and seeing responses by the company in past reviews, they seem to be considering customers' feedback and trying to improve as time goes on. Very big plus!! I dislike how the scheduling can be within "any time interval during that day" including the unknown possibility that "they could show up in the evening but probably not." I can understand this especially with covering such a large area and trying to match up different appointments geographically. A software such as ServiceNow could possibly help with these type of logistics (considers scheduling based on geography of customers, geography of staff, skills of respective staff, feedback gathering, etc. all in real time and managed well), but refrigerator repairs might not warrant such an efficient system and learning curve, and also the cost might not condone to have such automation available for such a company. Also, for the survey, which may've been more compatible over a PC, I tried to do it via the phone and I couldn't put in comments at the end that are in this review. Then after submitting my review with no comments via mobile, I tried to access via computer. The computer said that I'd already filled out the survey. I tried to fill out the survey again to see if I could add the comments in there, but the site would not let me. Completing some adulting successfully on my end feels good!

If I could make this negative stars, I would have to do that…read more Range: We had one tech explain the screw wouldnt come out and we should just go buy a new Miehle range. Eventually we got to their one Master technician, who repaired it perfectly in one visit. SteamOven: At this point, we are over $2,000 into repair costs, amost 2 years of time and still do not have a working combi steam Miehle oven. Before we realized they only have one Master tech, other techs came out multiple times, replacing $800 steam generator more than once. Not repaired. Once we had identified their one superior technician we entered a cycle where he would request a part be ordered, the wrong part was delivered, he would visit and we had the wrong part. Now we needed to try to get funds refunded so we could enter the next cycle and try to reorder the part again. In the fifth version of this we were treated to hearing the owner of the company call our valued tech and curse and swear at him, accusing him of all kinds of things... Believe me, this one tech is the only reason this company must ever get anything repaired! We have spoken to Patty, spoken to everyone who picks up the phone at Fast Appliance. If you have high end appliances and Kiefer or Gearhard sent you here, settle in for a very frustrating experience.
